    Hello people I am looking for new summer tyres now and wanted to know with which you have had good experiences in size??? Maybe I would change to 225. Had last summer still the Goodyear Eagel F1 (not asymetric) and must say that at the beginning has driven well but already had a very high wear and to the end has become very loud and spongy. I think about getting a Vredestein, Kumho, Hankook possibly.. Currently I drive mostly short distance and only 1x in the year a summer holiday with approx. 2600Km.. What do you think, thank you…

  • Thinking aid: End up leasing or buying out of leasing?

    I made an offer to buy my V70 after 18 months out of the lease. I played with the idea of selling it and buying a smaller used car – but the demand is not overwhelming (diesel). It is financially but not necessary and I am extremely satisfied with the V70. If I convert the financing of the money for the purchase at monthly rates with interest 3%, I get exactly the same monthly costs as if I were still 30 months So financially, it’s as if it’s gone. No one knows how the used car prices for diesel are in 4 years. Even worse than they can hardly be at the moment, you would like to think. But who knows. Is it more important to be able to put the car on the yard for the dealer after 4 years, to knock his hands off and go? That would mean to read on. Or is it more important to be flexible and to be able to sell if necessary?

  • Revolving front tyres normal with the all-wheeler?

    Hello all, I need your advice about the four-wheel drive from my recently bought 3.2 XC70. I drove up to the forest with my dog this morning. I went then as always right on the grass strip. I wanted to try if the four-wheel drive works. And to my scare I had to find out that the wheels turned off at the front left. So I don’t know about my old 03 XC70. Please take a look at the photos, I don’t know now if this is normal or o b the four wheel is defective. I had this problem with the old XC at the time and there was at 275 Tkm the gearing of the sleeve rotated round. That’s why I would like to have the opinions of the professionals. Thank you!     Hello, I am now for about two weeks a Renault Megane Scenic driver and Eigentlich quite satisfied. Only the car zicks around in between times -.- It is a Renault Megane Scenic year 97 He does not jump in between, just as he likes. The crankshaft sensor has been changed, seems to be a well-known problem with Renault. After that it went well a few days and yesterday he did not jump again. The ignition hums, everything is good, only the start is missing. H The car is checked for errors by the mechanic with a part of whose name I don’t know. I’m now as far as driving with the car is no fun at all. I’m afraid to stand at a crossroads, drink the car off and not make it run again. We seriously think about selling the car again if the mechanic doesn’t find the mistake today. I don’t know what I want here, I’m just still frustrated and have almost no car. I hope the Renault reads my article and understands what kind of cars are selling, but maybe only I bought a Monday car??? What else could the error be?   • Renault Megane 1.9dTi Autom. Gearbox behaves unusually

    Hi guys, I got myself a Renault Megane 1.9dTi automatic EZ 01/01 last week. He now has 108,500 km on the clock. During the test drive everything was still supi, but now after almost a week and about 350km I find a few things unusual: I find it switches too often and too jerky and this morning (-3°) I wanted to drive on a slight climb to turn into the main road, but he wanted to start only when I had kicked the accelerator up to half. A When I was on the main road he turned up very quickly and the engine control light went on. On the next occasion I ran right. Turned off the engine and started again. The light stopped. The jerky and too often switching remained there. On Monday I had already asked at ATU for an automatic transmission oil change; but that’s not what they do, was the answer. Then I am to a Renault workshop: They didn’t know what I want at all at the info; one in the mechanics erkittel shouted from behind: “These are life-long fillings” I meant: “But it is unusually cracking during the switching process and I want to have changed the oil” I was then so fed.     Hello together, after a long time of thinking, I have been more interested in the topic of LPG and would like to have my Meggi remodeled. I drive a Mégane CC 2.0 16V. Now I am facing a huge problem. I have called Renault directly and at 5 retrofitters. Renault Germany tells me that Renault does not give permission for LPG conversion and thus everything is at my own risk. I don’t understand, because in France the Meggis drive with it as standard, but no matter. The second one says that KME is for hobbyists and wants me to install a BRC system for 2500 € + rental car for the conversion time + 2 years free towing in the surrounding area if there is a problem with the system. The dirtte wants me to install a BRC for 2900 €. The fourth one is a Landirenzo system, as this system also from Renault in Frankrei Now comes the fifth and says that the only real thing for the future is a Vialle Liquefied Gas plant. He wants to install it for 2500 € fixed price. According to the Vialle NL homepage, he is an official service partner. Do you understand my problem as layman? Everyone says something different. What do you say “the knowledgeer” about it? 🙂 Which plant is to be recommended at what price? I don’t want to have big problems afterwards and no permanent subscription in the workshop.
