Hello dear community, I have a problem with the electrically operated tailgate of my XC 60, built in 2011. When opening, the one-sided drive squeaks extremely loud and makes me a mockery in every parking lot. Lubrication is allegedly not possible and an exchange according to information from the workshop is not easy, since the required spare part of the one-sided drive is no longer available (is not listed in the relevant spare parts shops). he tailgate on today’s usual two-sided drive would be so expensive that this can’t be recommended for a 14-year-old car, as the costs would almost reach the residual value. Does anyone have any advice! Thank you.

Electric tailgate
Hello Have a question for my neighbor. With your xc60 the electric tailgate spins for a week. From nothing an engine (not heard) in the tailgate makes noises. Then it lasts for hours and then goes away again. At the time no reaction on the tailgate. No matter what you press- it does not do anything. But the noise remains. It was previously not done at the car- neither driven nor opened. I self-trained mechatronics technician do a different job for years abe r I was wondering if anyone knows Dad problem. Has happened 3 times in the last 7 days. But wasn’t at home at that moment. So the sound just comes like that. Are at noon out of the house car stood since the evening before and hear the noise. Something turns on by ghost hand. If one then opens the tailgate / closes hours later there are no problems noises. Thank you Beautiful Christmas

Now it’s getting tight… No TüV and HU
Hello everyone, for my Omega this time it is really tight. TÜV expired!!! Me and my Omega off to the TÜV. And look there… Smooth failed! The defect list is like a crime novel. Oh God is all over now? Do I have to separate from my Omega now? To the defects: foot brake left little brake power. Rear axle absorption rubber plate worn out. So that’s not so bad. I thought. Probably the biggest problem is the electronics The yellow Engine light in the cockpit is defective. Exhaust emissions are too high. Therefore, I don’t get an AU certificate. The fault memory has been read out. Result: Lamdasonde Nachkat, open circuit motor lamp. My mechanic thinks; I should drive on the highway and really warm, so that the KAT reaches its operating temperature. Because without AU there is also no HU. A vicious circle. Now I turn again with my problems and needs to all here in the Motor Talk Forum. Who can help me? n??? Or is everything too late now? Best regards

Diesel filter V70 frozen again
It’s time again: For the time being, the diesel fuel filter is frozen so that the car doesn’t start. Does anyone have an idea how to prevent it? Let off the condensation water from time to time? How do you do that? As I have read, it’s probably not that easy to expand the filter without the right tool. How warm with heating? V70II
Hello, I’m throwing my heater for tomorrow the last few days, so that I don’t have to scratch or freeze the kids. I let the SH unlock in Nov., and now it turned on about 7x, but it was mostly around the +4 degrees in the morning at 8:10. Now we have minus degrees in the morning and when I come to the car, I don’t think it’s really cuddly in the car. How warm will yours be? Can you pretend the heat? Marc

Would you like to buy another Volvo, but which one?
Moin, in the spring of 2011 I had to separate myself from my V70 D5 EZ 2002 with 330 tkm due to some expensive defects. The pain was not too great because I could already call a Honker mine. However, I got only a small diesel approved as a everyday car. Now I play with the thought to get a Volvo again. But that is harder than thought. I definitely need a little more ground clearance, because I often and like to travel in Scandinavia. So a Pr but for my 1.98 it is simply too tight on the driver’s seat. Hard to believe, but there was much more space in the V70. Now the XC70 remains. But we don’t really like the new one at all at all. But the XC70 II only existed until the beginning of 2007 (about that) and the condition for a brought in must be a km performance below 100 tkm. That’s actually almost impossible if you look at how many XC70s are offered as used cars in D at all. W would you advise me? I’m looking for a used man with a little more ground clearance, loading area up to the front seats like 190 cm or more, long-haulable, diesel, under 100 tkm. From my point of view, there’s only one thing to be friends with the new XC70. or what do you think?

Renewing Simmerring to Drive Shaft……no recommended workshop in the Kassel area ?
Hello, have already looked at the positive list but unfortunately no workshop for Kassel or surroundings found. However, I would like to say that I also like to drive in free workshops and as a craftsman and exschrauber like to seek contact with employees. Currently on my thickness (W12 from the end of 2003) on the left front drive shaft of the Simmerring, properly probably shaft sealing ring, have to be changed there already oil runs out there. In the course of this also the iden (already existing) batteries are changed since e.g. the Comfort battery even after 4 hours. highway ride in rest has only 11.8 volts. Does the change last very long or could you possibly wait for it ? Ask only if I have to go further ! Who would like to take over this work please just report. Happy Easter, Harald

Error memory P2015 Suction tube valve position sensor and P2101 throttle control unit
Hello, I hope that the competence and experience of the community of this forum will find an answer to my error picture and ask for your help with it. About 1 month ago the motor control light is lit up. Error memory as follows: – P2015 Suction tube valve position sensor (signal unlpausible / error static) Error deleted. 2 x started –> Errors again. Diagnosis: throttle valve swapped. Result: throttle valve swapped. Info: The workshop master told me that no one Is this correct ? 2 days after changing the throttle flap and approx. 300km on the way with the Phaeton again lights up the motor control light. Error memory as follows: – P2015 Suction tube valve position sensor (signal unlpausible) – P2101 Throttle control unit (misfunction) Diagnosis: Vacuum tube flaps left/right change. I am now not sure if this is right. Have ic h the throttle flap unnecessarily swapped ? Must the throttle flap be learned / adjusted ? Suction pipe flaps left/right completely swap ? Comfort battery is empty after a day, what consumes so much energy? Now I have the vehicle just four weeks and quirks without end. Why do I always buy such cripples? When I bought the vehicle I already noticed that the comfort battery was empty, well that stood already something, so nothing thought about it because everything was not going to the tailgate and the left rear door lock. I then eliminated the mistakes. Only the comfort battery is empty forever, when o I tried to load them after. After two days on the charger it was still not full. So the probably defective with the small standby stömen the ka can not become empty so quickly, so thought. So I ordered a new one, now after two weeks the endeich is there. So I broke a break the SCH… part to install. Which plaster nose at VW had such a mess come in? After three hours the part was finally built in. What no longer went was the suitcases raumklappe only why not besides, the error on Nivoregulation please workshop… As far as everything is good the car jumps to everything goes up to the flap. The next day, nothing works anymore. Hmm see what the battery does …. Eight volts that is but little. I have a desulfator with voltage indicator installed to see how high the voltage of the battery is. Well ha then the new battery was probably not fully charged. So charger connected. I connected the old battery over This morning I switched a measuring device in between. Ups my hands on the measuring device almost scrambled so much current in the sandby. My measuring device goes up to 10 A and it was full at the stop. So I once pulled all the fuses in the rear fuse box over 10 A individually, something has to pull so much power. Unfortunately no success, so all relays a Now???? Which consumer pulls so much electricity in the standby, someone knows advice. Has someone had such a mistake already? It could be an adhesive contact or switch and it would have to get a little warm only what. With my Chrysler I have had enough to do with the electronics but the VW is a lot worse. How good is that I still have my Chrysler the quality is much better. What do I do myself time and again at the same time I never wanted to like A VW.
