Hi! I’ve been wondering since I bought it. At the front nothing lit up in the position lights. Safety is ok, so only both pears can be defective. Stupid at Xenon is only that the place there is more than cramped. But for so poppy 1.20€ pears you don’t have to dismantle the entire front now?! And I guessed why the previous owner left this defective. ^^ I’ve already read a post where someone has removed the windscreen wiper water tank and air intake, so the pears are not damaged. Another writes from below could do it, but you don’t know any more. Maybe someone has gained experience and may tell me how to exchange the pears without a ride there? Greetings Achja. EDIT: On-board computer didn’t report any defects. Which seems strange to me. Is the Facelift 2005 and as far as I can see that stuck in the front at least pears. Or do I make myself unnecessary worm and he has no position lights in front? – No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Upgrade Media-IN + Alternatives in GP2
Hello in the nice round, the Phaeton (GP2) of desire has unfortunately still installed a CD changer, but since I keep all my music on an iPod Classic, I would like to know if it is possible to replace the changer with the original Media-IN multimedia socket? Practical changers out and Media-IN in without cutting half the car and pulling new cables.Has someone the part number of this Media-IN unit ready? (For the Golf/Passat I have them in the VW accessory catalogue s The built-in radio is an RNS 810 and important to me is a full integration into the Phaeton (ID3-tag display in the Radio+FIS and operation via Radio+Lenkrad). In addition, I have of course dared to look beyond the box and came across the following alternatives:Solisto: Do not see compatibility with the RNS 810, only ZAB (with limitation to 6×99 tracks and no ID3-tags)DENSION: iGATEWAY (hears after a possible n Alternative and costs €119.90)KUFATEC: VW MEDIA-IN/MDI Interface – Retrofit (seeming to be exactly what I’m looking for, but with the note: “Only suitable from chassis number 3D-9-100-001 (Facelift), which facelift is meant by this? I would like to have OEM parts, but if only with increased work effort, then of course an alternative is enough.

What really bothers me after the first few weeks…
… is the fact that I find the folding of the exterior mirror very impractical. At the beginning I just got a little upset about the really cheap turning knob. I still don’t think that it lasts for a long time. Still, however, when I start the car I forget to drive the mirrors again and again, because I was used to this before at BMW by the individual key coding. Maybe I have to get used to it first. But after almost 3 months n this is not the case yet 🙁 The second one is the window lifters, which I think are difficult to access – at least as a driver. Of course I don’t use them very often, but every time I have to bend (at normal height) very much… Certainly all small things, I will report on occasion. On the whole I am satisfied with the P..

Phaeton, a great car!
Hello dear Phaeton driver, I have been reading for a while about all the problems (or problems) that some P-owners have with their vehicle. I am one of the, perhaps few, that are only satisfied with the car. I would be interested to know who has no (or almost no) problems with his Phaeton. I think, if only always about problems is polemized, maybe also with the hint that such a thing with such a car can not be and that the M’s and B’s and A’s don’t have such problems. that won’t do justice to this great car. So here’s a positive theme: who’s satisfied with his P. I have a V6.2 petrol engine, BJ 2004, 4-seater with full equipment and today 70,000 km. Had only some problems at the beginning, all quickly and competency were eliminated. Sometimes I don’t have some things (he doesn’t find the key or the tailgate doesn’t open etc.) but the car repairs again and again the same What other car has such self-healing powers as our fat guy? Greetings, from a really satisfied Phaeton driver, Sugu

XC90 – sound from behind
Hello, my new XC90 has been standing in the workshop for 2 days now because of a noise which he has already had since delivery. The following facts : at exactly 1900 rpm when cruising comfortably (i.e. without full speed, but only easy to run), comes a “surr noise” (can’t describe it better) from the back left, which is quite clearly audible. In the workshop they have already taken on everything possible and what goes on and know no more advice. now send a report to Volvo and wait for their answer, what they can do or if a factory engineer comes out to listen to this. Has anyone heard of this and what can it be? It is always only at 1900 rpm and not under load, otherwise not. Greeting Haeken who in the meantime tests the new S80….

V50 1.8. SRS maintenance urgent
As already mentioned in the title lights are today tomorrow the Airbag light / maintenance urgent. The car was now 1-2 months in the hall, when I got it 3 days ago it has jumped without any problems however you are aware that the battery no longer has the full power. So I now did not have to orgel or so, but you notice it nevertheless. Could I be lucky and the error is possibly due to an undervoltage of the battery ? I try afterwards the car out read (Icarsoft). Just wanted to ask before asking if someone has had a similar problem or knows in the form.

ALWR- apparently defect but no error message???
Hello together, have the following problem at my omi. Last night on the way home I noticed that the xenons are much higher than usual. I stopped and looked if an ALWR sensor might have hung out, but everything was ok. Also the engine turned off and on again. The headlights both remained much too high. I then drove on to endanger nobody with the fog. This morning then looked at the FOH to test the ALWR. The result but the headlights were both much too high. If he then tried to turn down manually, but according to him only went with the left headlight, the right one would not be able to be adjusted anymore, would probably be defective and would have to be replaced. To my question why the headlights were still normal on Sunday and now were at once much too high, he had no answer, the ALWR is usually.. Then I drove into the Fa. and got the Ommi before a The right not newly adjusted headlight was full 10cm higher than the left. Then try to get the right SW to the height of the left, was contrary to the mechanic’s statement, no problem. I tried to test the ALWR – light and ignition on and the car pressed down and held in front, no reaction, then lifted, again no reaction the headlights did not adjust. The same back p Then the left front wheel and the rod are cut off to the sensor and the sensor lever moves with the hand and see there it moves but only sporadically and with extreme impacts of the sensor lever. Sometimes the headlights go up and down only quickly and sometimes only very slow and stuttering down the next time then the SW does not move at all. At the back it is quite the same. In the middle position with both sensor levers nothing at all, e So at approx. 30° rash from the middle position of the lever up or down in the area of approx. 1cm the headlights move then times. What is going on, is that now normal?? Are both sensors defective or spins the control unit. There is also no error shown in the MID. Hope you can help me, in the search I found at least nothing suitable.

Car Image Comparison: Volvo V70R vs Saab 9-5 vs. MRS T5
In the current Autobild Test&Tuning is a comparison test of the Sweden Combi V70R, MR Sweden V70 T5 and Saab 9-5 from Hirsch Performance. All 3 with manual transmission and rated power of V70R 300 hp, 400 Nm MRS V70 T5 330 hp, 447 Nm 9-5 306 hp, 420 Nm Here are the measured driving performances: 9-5 / V70R / MRS T5 0-100 km/h 7.0 / 6.3 / 7.9 0-130 km/h 10,5 / 10,2 / 12.0 0-160 km/h 14,9 / 15,3 / 17.9 0-200 km/h 23,5 / 26.3 / 30.0 100-200 km/h 16,5 / 22.1 60-100 4.speed 6.3 / 5.7 / 8.6 80-120 5/6.” 9.3/- 6,9/10,1 11,0/- Consumption in liters 12,3 / 13,0 / 14,6 The Saab is, in my opinion, very good despite front drive. The V70 R can only present itself in the passageway thanks to the 6th gear transmission, otherwise it can not drive away the Saab. In the tuned T5 of MR Sweden I am not quite sure whether it is stupidity or impudence to give a supposedly 330 hp V70 for the test, which then presents such miserable values. 5 which were made to create with 32° degrees high temperatures. Only the conditions were the same for all 3. Not very trustful to attract new customers. What do you think about it?

Purchase advice Volvo V70 III Diesel
After a long search and a long time back and forth, I am now sure that it will be the V70. It’s still practical, the back seat can be completely folded, so that you can also put a mattress in the car and can sleep long and comfortably. That was important to me, because I also want to travel with the car. More precisely, it should become a Volvo V70 diesel. BJ from 2007 (the 3rd generation). Equipment that is important to me: automatic, cruiser. leather I would like to spend up to 13.000 €, if it is really good there maybe a little more. Heating would be nice, but if necessary I would also retrofit! hands-free equipment would be nice, but also no need – you can also simply retrofit. There are lots of accessories, also from Volvo the Bluetooth retrofit. I want to have a well-kept vehicle without maintenance stowage, make smaller things (filters, brakes, oil, etc., or at a bef repeat mechanics), inspections etc. continue with the Volvo dealer, because a well-kept checkbook is very important to me. Vehicle should be 1. Hd, if 1. Hd was a demonstration car, also gladly 2. Hd. Up to how much KM can I buy such a V70, so that I can be “safe” that it does not cause me a lot of problems? Am dependent on the car and drive every day to work and also sometimes longer distances from time to time, Diesel is of course also “free blown” on the highway. e but by no means race with the V70. I am a little skeptical about the high KM performances, since I have always owned annual cars up to now. But have already confidence in the reputation and quality of Swedish vehicles. What do you think – what should I take care of, except that the timing belt should be changed at 160 tsd km? What are big defects? Known problems and weaknesses? What should I pay attention to when buying? How much KM can I go? What would be a typical offer like BJ u nd KM power for the max. stated sum? If I spend “only” 10,000-12.000 € this is of course also ok, so I have even more reserves or money for other expenses (dachbox, safety net, etc. and immediately). But also do not want to save at the wrong end! Thank you and a nice rest Sunday!

Volvo XC70 – Facelift 2013 to be recognized by what?
Hello, please excuse my “dumb” questions. I’ve been looking for a Volvo gasoline truck for many months, preferably the T6, even though the consumption still shocks me a bit. Those at the Volvo dealer said that you should take the last (2013) model after the facelift. Petrol Volvo XC70 from 2013 is almost not available, but if, how do I recognize the last model, or just if it is a 2013 approved one? Here there are optically very different variants. I only have the MY2015 and MY2016 brochures, so I miss the pictures. With the 2014, 2015 approved is relatively simple, alone already from the BJ, but also so optically… Honeycomb cooler grille and automatic switch bar with leather bag/cover. Besides, I see again and again a 2012 approved with the old rectangular cooler grille but a “newer” automatic switch bar with leather bag/cover. Thus probably the old model. On the other hand, then a 2013 approved already with the newer honeycomb But the old silver automatic switch set (even older?!). How does this fit together? Also I see again and again a “T6” with 238/243 hp… that was never available, right, that is actually the 3.2? And because we are already there, the T5 with the new 4-cylinder engine never existed in DE as AWD. However, I have seen two alleged XC70 T5 AWDs in Italy and one here in DE as an import car from the USA. Was there really this combination, or did d a just once again someone wrongly copied the data and the T5 was actually only 2WD or the 5-cylinder engine? Thanks for a brief explanation! Good night! Oliver
