  • VA 245/40 20 – HA 275/35 20

If I have turned off my defects, I might consider customizing my P to a set of Alu rims. I would like 9×20 front and possibly 10.5×20 rear with 245 or 275 tires Does anyone possibly drive this combi? 275 front are actually too wide but should the mixed tire give problems with the AllRad, I can possibly live with it. Optically I like mixed tires better. Maybe someone has experiences with this combi. To do it is also 275 round. Greeting Martin

  • Problems with the automatic transmission of my VW Phaeton V8 4.2

I changed the gear oil 1 1/2 years ago, because the speedometer has not risen continuously with light gas and has fluctuated back and forth. Now the problem is even worse. With light gas and with the slope of the road it fluctuates strongly and with the gas there is rising stepwise, instead of uniformly. At the stand you notice also slight fluctuating of the torsion. And if you hit the steering wheel quickly in the stand, the speeds go briefly into the basement, as if the Does anyone have the same problems or even know what it might be up to?

  • V70-Buy and many Fragan

Hello dear people, I’ve been hopping over from the S/V40 area to you here. Have been driving a V40 for a few years, but now it’s too small because of new generation etc. So I need a big station wagon, and that’s where the V70 literally pushes me. However, I miss practically all the basic information: – When were the model changes? I am interested in the price for years of construction about 2000-2004. Is it true that there were models before 2000 with the 2.5TDI, which was also installed in the Audi? – Which engine? I drive about 30-40000 km a year, a lot on Polish roads, where some power reserve for overtaking is also a safety factor. (My V40 2.0T leaves hardly any wishes open that I have to make cuts there, is already clear to me) – In other words: Better a diesel, or rather a turbo-engine? – Are the petrol engines possibly gas-proof? I would then like to install an LPG system if necessary. – I haven’t looked at a special car yet, but quite general: What should I pay special attention to with which models? Rust is certainly hardly a topic, have I already read with problems with the front axle? I would be very grateful for any hints and tips.

  • Summer tyres

Hello As a newcomer, I have been driving an XC 70 2.5T Mod 2005 for 5000km. I would like to inform myself about summer tyres. Which tyres would you recommend. I value comfort, little running noise and good profile for wet conditions. After the snow next Wednesday there is still some rain and then I hope to come to spring. I want to know which summer tyres I should buy. Lbg bambus6

  • Emergency run. Error: 00283 Speed sensor left front (G47) 012 and 01826 Encoder for steering angle sensor

A few weeks ago, I was allowed to purchase a Phaeton w12 (I couldn’t say no to the price). The generally run electric car discussion caused me to do so, true to the motto it is 5 to 12 for a 12-year-old. At times, this one is now waiting with the first task. – ESP/ABS – motor control light – after the error slightly trembling speed in idle mode occurs (similar to a “wum Wumm Wummmm” Thus, the vehicle in the “half warmed up condition” in a In this condition it is almost forbidden to move the vehicle. The switching operations are not blocked (P-D-R …) The reverse gear has slightly more force than the forward gear, marginally more force… In idle I cannot “play” with the accelerator pedal – the speed does not react. It seems as if the accelerator pedal is almost completely deactivated. Error memory: 00283 Speed sensor left front (G47) 012 – electrical error in the circuit 01826 Encoder for Steering angle sensor (G85) Power supply KL30 000- – On the lifting platform I noticed that the front right wheel does not turn in the “drive” Normally I only know the emergency run in the gearbox or engine so that one is still given the opportunity to drive at least 60-120kmh. In this emergency run it is worktime. I am looking forward to your participation(participation) concerning this topic.

  • Strange snoring on the front axle, subjectively from the center of the wheel.

On Saturday at BMW I had new tires pulled up in the back. I noticed that when driving into the stage such a funny snoring comes from the front axle when the steering has been hit and the car moves slowly. The snoring comes as a unique single tone several times in a row, so no permanent tone. I noticed this sound the other day when I drove into a parking garage and had the window of the driver’s door down. With the steering in and in the We have then raised the car several times on stage at BMW and lowered it again (of course in car lift mode) and this knarrzen is reproducible. The axle, respectively wheel, is loaded across the direction of travel. Subjectively perceived, the knarrzen concentrates towards the wheel center on the left front wheel. During normal driving or above step speed nothing is to be heard, nor if the air suspension in the stand vo could this be the drive shaft, respectively cardan joint? Has anyone already had such a phenomenon? Error memory entry or any malfunction does not exist.

  • 2004 Euro3 2.0D, performance problems

Hello guys, First of all, German is not my native language, I can read it well, but I don’t even make sentences myself. I wrote this in English, translated it and fixed the obvious bugs. Sorry for the ones that are still left. I disabled a 2004 Volvo S40 2.0D with 300000 km, no DPF, AGR. I’ve been doing it for four years and since I bought it, it felt pretty slow. It reacts slowly under 2000 rpm, then takes up to about 3000 rpm The fuel consumption is fine, no excessive smoke, no burning oil etc. During the pandemic I decided to get a Vida/DICE system and see if I can find the culprit. There are no performance-related error codes stored. The interesting thing is the operation of the turbo. I have attached a graphic below. Basically it starts to rise in every gear at 2000 RPM, builds up at 2300 RPM and v I have changed the 2 pressure converters and made sure that none of the vacuum hoses are leaking. Nevertheless, there is this strange behavior of the turbo. Does anyone have any idea what this might be about?
