Hello, it’s time again. My brake discs „rubbling like crazy. They have run from ATE and about 5000 km – so actually new. Well – may have been spoiled and have to be renewed. But the drama is that I already have the 3rd ones in it on about 20tkm. The first had to run out because of wear, ran until then without problems (didn’t have this phenomenon on one of my vehicles before). Then some of AutoTip came in (yes, don’t hit) and ran up to a visit to the workshop a little over 2 years ago. After the visit to the workshop it was almost impossible to brake – thought the dashboard snaps out. It was incredible! There were prints of the coverings on the windows, like burned in L+R. As I can, I don’t know… but I can think about it. Workshop test drive – the average consumption let it guess… 250km with approx. 12L, then get back with approx. 310km, consumption > 25L. Well. With the workshop there was nothing to do, would only be continued with lawyer good. Just for a few thalers again the one from Tip. Hielten about 7000km, then the scratching was back again. First very easy, after a few days extreme. So now bought from ATE and the saddles/pistons checked for smoothness. Everything ok and nothing to determine. The ATE discs held about 6000 km, then the same again. So again out with it and have me others built in. And: it is back again… I am on it and on to replace BEDE saddles completely, because I no longer I have to say that I have already had various vehicles and have made all the brakes with discs at some point (e.g. Omega A + other B and other makes). Had these problems never(!) and at that time I never paid attention to a manufacturer’s brand. Now I have already passed ATE (the current one does not occur to me, but was also not a no-name). There is nothing hard to fix on both pistons. And I usually move in the right lane – so rather “unsporty! Does anyone still have advice? Shouldn’t at least one piston clamp? Well, and I’m really not doing this for the first time. But with the car is somehow sometimes the worm in it. Greeting Christian

Which navigation system can you recommend to me?
Hello together, since I don’t have a navigation system in my TT-R, I want to add one more thing. Now I have looked around a bit and discovered 2 different systems. One time a pure navigation system like TOMTOM and the other a PDA with navigation software. Now I wanted to know which models you use. Which navigation software do you use with the PDA’s? Hejsan. See photo: Who offers more (was already so similar here)? The limit of 80 km/h saves quite neatly… By the way, was in the north, at least to Narvik, of which the whole Kystriksvej 17 (immediately!) and in Sweden the domestic vans back. Didn’t know that the XC 70 in N and S soooo is frequent (taxi, police, ambulance etc.). Every other with handlebars and auxiliary headlights, does not look bad – but unfortunately have no photo… If I almost had had had my changed, starting from he the OHL was not thrilled… Greetings wg

V50 D5 Brakes “smoky” since changing the surface?
Moinsen together, Must unfortunately ask again in the round, after my D5 ran for quite a long time without murmuring: After current customer service with the friendly, among other things the brake pads were changed at the front… Problem since: The operation of the brake pedal is clearly “smoother” or softer than before. Where already quite at the beginning of the pedal path a rather crisp and defined pressure point was present now nothing the same! what’s going on since then, in the stand you can suddenly push it through almost completely without any significant resistance until back pressure comes – and I like that more than nothing! I have never experienced the latter before. Even with light rollers short tap and the box stood abruptly! But that was once. With “foreigners” the brake was therefore rather dreaded until then… In the friendly immediately quite unsettled, mechanic and master confirm my egg ndruck: “feeling funny” and “is not normal”. Everything checked; no air in the system, braking performance in order, no leaks, filling level o.k. etc. Rear brakes also checked immediately and (after the customer service!) found that they were somewhat difficult – was then fixed. Since the rear brakes were the only thing that could be found as “mistakes” and the braking feeling was then slightly better than before the troubleshooting was set. The brakes, however, are still far from reacting as crisp as before… And now finally my question: Has anyone ever experienced, seen, heard anything like that??? Does anyone have any reasonably plausible idea about it? I admit that the car is slowing down. However, in my eyes still not as usual – and among us: it just feels like…! Since this was completely different until the customer service, something must have changed in the meantime – but what? ?? Guess from the friendly one would still be that something could have changed in the composition of the (new) brake pads (compared to the old ones). For me little plausible… My guess that something could have changed with the recording of a software update, was rejected by the friendly one… Any ideas? I would like to return my “Bremsmonster” – with this “wacking pudding” I will not be happy! Thanks in advance for any suggestion!

Buy or not to buy Omega V6 2.5 liters
Hello, I can have a 2000er Opel Omega V6 2.5 with complete check booklet but 250,000 km on the clock. Looks really good, Firme vehicle but from the right hand of the boss. Had it not so up to now with Opel, looks quite honest. Rost I did not see at the well-known places. Runs quite nicely, switches and brakes well. Check booklet has been kept completely with the dealer, is also everything real. I have already looked. Thanks already, must decide fast

407 SW ABS/ESP defect
Hello, as it says in the headline, a small problem with my ABS/ESP. I get an error message that my ABS/ESP is defective with a slightly stronger brake. I have now read/tested the parameter values with a tester and all 4 ABS sensors work. It’s funny that only with a slightly stronger brake the error message comes. Can it be completely on the brake light switch? Or what else could it be? Thanks Lg
