  • Diesel tipped into Super Petrol

Hy people, I drive Opel Omega B 2 liters 16 V, the car is 12 years old. I tipped in diesel fuel and I am with DRIVER. Of course I got really bad and now I have a lot of horror, now the car is standing in the yard and doesn’t start (oh man). Short info: Had 1-2 liters Super petrol as a rest in it. Then I tipped after about 9 liters (Super)Diesel. Also normal, then it started: stutter, speed in the cellar, with kicked gas at the traffic light. and always keep the speed up. Question: 1. Can I vacuum the stuff and then refuel it? 2. Is it possible OR is something broken? 3. Does the Lamda probe break or the cat or are they already? Thanks…

  • Vehicle on test run?

To our experts, what is watching during the dynamometer run? Have on the WE before the Omi times on the dynamometer admit the spores, to determine just what it brings, how far the tacho deviates, and how well the LPG system works. should you pay attention to anything?? oil before checking ect and warm driving is clear as well as the tires are fast enough for it. gruss Hannes

  • hibernation, battery, engine start

Hello together, since I can not find a clear opinion for my question, I would like to get to the experienced season registered SLK owners ideas for the best possible hibernation. The car is standing since 1.11. in my garage with 3.3 bar air on 18 inch tires. Ctek Polar device connected until everything was green and then deducted again. Sometimes I push the car forward 50 cm. After a week then 1 m back to have the load not only on the tire. What i I have read here that you have to refrain from doing so. Is there anything against it? If so, why? Would you add something else? I have never had a car as a seasonal car. But please don’t discuss why the car is not driven all year round. I have enough spare parts to use in the cold season. Thank you in advance.

  • LPG experience with Volvo

Moin Moin, I ask you to write me your experiences regarding gas upgrade at Volvo. A friend of mine wants to get a Volvo, probably from year 2001, the V70. He would like to have it refitted. Now my question to you, do you have experiences with it? With what system? have you installed Flashlube, (recommended), or do you use tune up? are the engines released? Valves at Volvo hardened? other problems that have occurred before? Many greetings and happy me on many posts Sebastian

  • Engine overheating

Hello guys, I have a problem with my Volvo s80 II 12.2012. Engine overheating. Water pump, thermostat, zanremen, pressure compensation lid with accessories I have again at pitstop. The problem still exists. In addition, the coolant (-30) is lost (from the container due to a wage for compensation – whether everything or not is not to invest). Top/Lower hoses are heating, but when heating comes in no warm air. Top hose has a lot of pressure. Ventilator switch et quite normal 10C/50C/90 Celsius. Diagnostic didn’t give anything. Everything was fine. A Volvo Frick (his own workshop for Volvo) told me today that probably thermostat was not installed properly or head gasket. Pitstop and in the workshop are clueless where the problem lies. Could someone help me?

  • Cover letter from the VW car dealership

Moin moin, has someone else received a letter from his VW dealer regarding “Refitting the engines of the series EA 189”. I was confused at first. Our Phaetons are not affected at all?! The writing is also very general with an indication where you can check this with input of the VIN. I did that then and got the message… “Your vehicle is not affected”. Well, I’m surprised that I got a letter at all, because they actually know What kind of car do I have to drive?

  • Decision-making aid for petrol companies

Moin Moin all together, I’m now thinking of getting an Omega B Caravan petrol truck for the first time. Since I’ve only been driving 2.5 TD and 2.5 DTI so far, I don’t have any experience with the gasoline engines. I intend to secure one of the very last gasoline engines with absolute full equipment, as with the 2.5 DTI Executive. I have the following questions for you: – Which is the best gasoline engine, 2.6 or 3.2 liters – Are there or were there even bigger ones? standard engines, such as Irmscher for the Omega – Was there an Omega i Line series that ran regularly off the line or were these only attachments from Irmscher For the communication of your experiences I would be very grateful and certainly also a great help for my purchase decision.

  • Automatic gearbox jerking, part II

Hello guys, I had an oil change with filter now, adaptation values reset. Omi still jerks. Was then with a FOH, is a good acquaintance of mine, has really bothered. With the factory on the phone, the lapidare answer best got a replacement transmission. The only thing we found out with TECH2, that the converter number at normal speed at about 8000 Umin then when he starts to jerk then it is only at 70, but still drives at the same speed ell. Question: Does someone know where the threshold is taken off and if you can reach the sensor somehow, possibly without a gear expansion. I imagine to my well-founded half-knowledge, if the part provides false data this might be the cause.
