Today call from the car dealership: 2 spark plugs have broken off and parts of it fell into the engine. Engine was probably hard besc Compression in cylinders equal to 0. Further statements are possible only after the cylinder head has been removed, which should cost only up to 23 working hours and 3500,- Euro. Probably a replacement motor is then needed. Now I ask myself, of course, whether this is realistic. I don’t know the car dealership and I have never been a customer there. I’m a bit perplexed at the moment as something like this can happen with a Phaeton V6 TDI. Especially since I regularly inspect a VW Autoh The vehicle was never heated or even kicked to the stop, but always treated carefully. Now I am thinking about whether the investment in an exchange engine at my MJ 96 is still worth it at all. Sure it is a beautiful vehicle but the replacement engine will probably exceed the market value significantly. “WL-…. 1959 ” taillights or tailgate defective???
Moin, yesterday a GP3 (already with darker rear lights) with the annular license plate (it is missing in the specification consciously of the middle letters, maybe he/she reads here with a hint) before me. hi, after a long abstinez I ended up here again after years, and only because I have problems with my omega…. for years was quiet. but he has now started to consume cool water and coughed on a cylinder in the mornings. so let go of the replacement omega and started to disassemble the big one. after now the heads are down, I unfortunately had to find out that next to the completely rotted head seal also unfortunately a small notch from the cooling circuit in the combustion room of the 6 cylinder is. could be that the notch is 2-3/10 mm deep. now the questions: how far can one plan the cylinder head from the x30xe? do both heads have to be planned? how does this behave with the parts between the heads as the angle between the two changes? or rather just get a replacement head and is good? the stroller now has 155tkm down and is still too bad to throw away. thank you in advance for your answers. greetings andreas

DSTC probably defective!
Hi, yesterday I was once again on a driving safety training of the ADAC. Incidentally, during this training there was an absolutely identical XC90 V8 with identical tyres (Pirelli Ice&Snow) and even the same profile depth there. At the last driving training one year ago I had massive problems with the V8 in the watered circular track: the vehicle broke out at the lowest speeds at the rear. At that time I pushed the rear tyres driven at the limit (1mm above the mark) N. Other XC90 (e.g. XC70D5) didn’t have this problem at the time either. This time exactly the same picture: My XC90 breaks out already from about 30 km/h HINTEN on the slip surface. And this is exactly what the DSTC is supposed to prevent, it regulates the wheels so that the car breaks out at best in the front. Also, the ADAC trainers have not been able to detect control action on the wheels! Since an identical comparison vehicle was there, we have the same driving situation with the other V8 gem eight: The car was also by force not to be moved to a rear outburst – the rule intervention was very fast and clearly visible. Even with the DSTC switched off (actually only reduced) there was no rear outburst to be generated in the comparison XC, but an earlier outburst at the front. In my case, there was no change at all with the DSTC switched off – the car also breaks out immediately at the rear! e to use the car in the front and e.g. not to let the tree that may be present hit the weaker side. And it doesn’t. And I did my first training a month after taking over the car – so it doesn’t work right since the beginning. There have never been any error messages in Vida. Ergo: I emailed my dealer the above description today and asked him to make a short-term bug fix with Volvo help. For me, this is a mistake in e in the security system completely unaccetable! Alternator defective

Workshop diagnosis: alternator inside completely defective. Belt tensioner in addition and with working time roundabout 1000 Euro. My elk is top maintained 2012 S60 D3 R-Design 135,000km.
