  • Coking of injectors

    Hello,and Moin ,Moin Hab recently here in the forum, read something about the coking and not badly surprised about the damage that this can do.As we drive a 270cdi Bj2004 pre-mopf, I am now worried.What can be done to counteract the coking? Did our car actually want to drive longer, so I bought combustion improvements,which is normally used for heating. Now my question:Can the current engines tolerate the combustion improver? re answers in advance. Beautiful Greetings Gritlie

  • Android10 and Samsung Galaxy S10 (duos) RSAP is back in operation

    Hi friends of Phaeton, unfortunately it has become increasingly difficult to find a modern smartphone which supports RSAP. The newer devices from the Samsung series were almost all duos (2 SIM cards) and therefore from Android without RSAP support. Since Android10 this is different. Android10 supports, also with the duos (2 SIM cards), new also the SIM access profile (rSAP) I have since last week a Samsung Galaxy S10 with Android 10 My Phaeton GP3 connects to RNS 810 with the Samsung via the SIM access profile (rSAP) -recognizable in the display- with “Premium”, not the hands-free profiles (HFP) Greetings Johann

  • Chiptuning at Reichhard

    Hello together ! Who of you did a chip tuning at Reichhard Motorsport (submit control unit)? I would like to send my control unit to Reichhard. Can they get the best out without my car on the test bench at all? Not every engine has exactly the same power. Is that a good idea to send the control unit? Or should I rather spend a little more, and bring the whole car right into the garage? Ps I know Edgar g+g Motorsport 🙂 I’d do it in Switzerland anyway.

    I have read here in the motor talk many times, that one should get still another oil cooler with the “tuning”. Is this meant with you in Germany where one drives for a long time at high speed and therefore high-tury? Suppose one drives only between the limit, then an oil cooler is necessary, but clearly it would not cost. Another thing.   • PN limit of 120 seconds partially removable?

    Hi together, it is clear that it is necessary to install a security against SPAM and abuse with almost 300,000 users – no question 🙂 But would it be possible for users who are e.g. longer than 6 months or more than 3000 posts (or otherwise a criterion) to take away this limit without warning or advertising suspicion? E.g. only every 5 seconds a PN or similar? It is quite annoying, e.g. to pass information on to all via PN at meetings (which are not public and therefore not posted) … Thanks Tschau Torsten – the XC fan (and now sending PNs for 20 minutes, only 10 people are to be informed 🙁 … )

  • Phaeton in winter rest send battery maintenance equipment

    Hello, I drive my Phaeton 3.0 TDI EZ2015 only rarely (about 5,000km a year). Now I would like to connect a battery maintenance device. As far as I know, my Phaeton 2 batteries are installed in the trunk on the right and left side. Now the question arises to me, do I need 2 battery maintenance devices, – as for each battery a separate maintenance device? Or are the two batteries electrically connected to each other and you can only use the battery maintenance device on e What battery maintenance devices do you have? (I have the CTEK MXS 5.0, battery charger 12V 5A, on my Harley) Could this be connected to the Phaeton battery? Thanks in advance to all who help me.
