Shock absorber V70 2,5 10V
Moin, bought me another V70 yesterday. I am now the 3 owner. 1 owner was a Volvo dealer for a few weeks. 2 owners a farmer Built 1950 The car has run fresh TÜV and 250244 km. I wanted to make crossbars and coupling rods. Now on the subject. the car stands quite high at the front and can be rocked like a mustard or a duck 2cv. If the shock absorbers are defective then it is automatically so high?

New used V60! D2 or D3?
Hello! I’m just a hard-working reader, but now it’s time for an article. I’ve been a Volvo fan for a little while – family reasons! I’m currently driving a C30 and I’d like to enlarge. Next I want a V60! I’ve got 2 variants in mind: 1. either a D2 2 or a D3 My budget is up to max. 10,000.-. I drive a lot of highway and therefore a diesel is indispensable. In my budget the Volvos already have approx. 100,000km to 140,000km The equipment is not very important to me. Only sitting heating would be wonderful! I know that the D2 is not the most powerful (have the engine in my C30 and Mama in her v50). In theory, however, it would be sufficient. I have read many articles on the topic of D2 and D3. My question is now – which engine is theoretically the longer life – D2 or D3? And switch or automatic? I look forward to your answers! LG from Cologne!

Replace servo pump and pull back the rib belt
Servus in the round, I have a question about my Volvo V70. And indeed the drive wheel of the servo pump has said goodbye (half of it has fallen from its bearing in the engine compartment). The rib belt is of course also down (but was still in the engine compartment and still looks good). The workshop wants for servo pump and its installation (incl. belt) 500 eyelets. That’s far too much for me, the good has 595,000km down (no, there is no zero too much ) I saw that it is in the round, I have a question about my Volvo V70. eBay has used servo pumps for less than 50€ and now I wonder if I can’t fix it myself. I’m not experienced with cars, but I’ve already done one or the other and I’m basically not clumsy. Can you just replace the servo pump with oil and is good? What’s to be paid attention to? Does something have to be ventilated? As far as the V-belt is concerned, I didn’t have a chance to record how it was on the wheels. .. Does anyone have a picture here or can they make a sketch? That would be awesome! I would be happy about a few answers from experienced moose drivers! Thanks already and greeting, Niklas

Window Lifter – Mechanics VL
Yesterday finally a new lock built in, works, so far so good – but … disc was up. FH-Tacker clamped to see if everything prima and the disk drives …. What an ugly sound !!! -> disk now hangs in the truest sense of the word on ‘half eight’ and moves nr minimally – motor is very tormented. Can not be pulled/pulled with the hand either – sits tight, jammed. Oh, oh – what did I Ochse do there? Everything is installed, you can see nothing …. How k I tried to remove a sheet metal, where the engine sits on it – somehow everything is fixed. I already mounted a lot on the moose de- ud – but no disc mechanics yet. Before I now try a flex ( ) the question to the window lifter experts here: How do you get this apart ???? (And again together !)

Touareg V10 or Phaeton V10 for Humbauer double axle trailers?
Hello Treg friends, I have read through the whole thread and missed that it should actually be a VW purchase consultation and not a BMW or Mercedes recommendation. I also want to pull a 3.5t trailer, however with moving goods and “Only” approx. 2,000km to BG. For this I came across the Treg-V10, after I actually had a Phaeton-V10 in my sights. Sure, the P pulls only 2,4T, because I want to use the car afterwards as a normal car and d Since I have already driven the track several times (without trailer) and know the gradients up to BG as well as in BG itself, I am very much wondering whether a Touareg V10 would not be the better solution, especially if the weight of the load in the trailer is approaching the 3 or even the 3.5t load limit. Thus, the question arises to me: “Which V10 would be preferable?” a Phaeton V10 or a Touareg V10? n Thanks in advance for a corresponding purchase recommendation

Kaufberatung- Summer tire 225/45 R17
After I have expressed a bit annoyed about all the purchase advice here (ok it was about cars and rims) I want to have “my advice” from you at the start of the season. It is about summer tires of the mentioned dimension and should fit to the T5 (entered with 250KM/h peak). Of course I have stumbled into older posts, but on the tire market there are a lot of things. The requirements: normal stress, but also a fast motorway ride. h less value on comfort than on security (reserves). First and foremost, it should be a “premium” manufacturer. What are your experiences and tips? Thank you and greetings

Do I have a cold problem, too?
Hello to all ! Of course I read the current topics and articles on the topic “cold” and diesel filter and thought yesterday on the highway, OK now it is also time for you, although I had no incidents at all in the first cold days. (Garage Parker) In any case I drove yesterday on the highway (about 120-130 km/h) and after a few kilometers, the engine had normal operating temperature, set itself a completely rough engine run, almost as if the good only on 3 Zylinde r would run, for that I felt a relatively vibrating body, so that I thought of a tire damage after first frightening. I drove immediately slower (about 80 km/h) to the next exit and had to stop at the traffic light. At that moment everything was normal again. So I immediately ran right and controlled the tires, everything in best order. I then carefully continued, but chose the country road and it was all normal again, return drive over the AB also. After the perfect cold start and warm-up phase to the highway everything was ok, then after a few kilometers the same shaking, yes almost a little stutter, coughing etc. that went then a few kilometers, full engine power was available however. I then drove further country road and also city traffic, everything was back to normal until now, also over AB. So: No start problems with cold or warm engine, auxiliary heating funks as well I have a problem with the fuel filter or is that even on the control unit with air mass meter ?? By the way I filled the tank with current standard diesel before the cold and one day before the problem came up, the still 1/4 full tank filled again due to the cold problems with Ultimate Diesel. Who knows himself or has experienced similar things ?? V70 II Edition Sport, 2,4D 163 PS 2007
