  • Defected pushbutton for assistance systems + microswitch boot lock

    Hello, I drive a long wheelbase 3.0 TDI 4 seater Bj 2009 Since the latest, I have broken the display, button for assistance systems, everything works except the dead angle warner in the mirrors. What can be broken? My 2nd problem is the trunk lock, since I have already built everything apart and checked it incl. wire harness it can only be the micro switch. Does someone have a lock lying there ? To test / buy ? Thank you and greeting Eisi

  • Door lock causes problems V70 III 2011

    Moin Got a problem with my driver’s door. Yesterday I wanted to drive to the Baltic Sea. Stepped in, door closed, lock does not cling the door. Trying to lock the locking mechanism with a key does not work. The mechanism works smoothly. Ok, even with the Volvo something breaks. So on to the Volvo dealer. Hardly driven to the yard of the dealer the lock works again (about 8 km). Ok, so on to the Baltic Sea. Was a nice day. Today again the same game. All The spook is already over after 300m. The door contact switch works. If I close the door far enough, the interior lighting goes off, the hint in the AI disappears until I close the door less strongly. Someone knows where the problem lies? I haven’t read out the missing memory yet. LG Ralph

Cable. I took pictures of the beginning and the end and there’s something else in the photo that looks like a plastic tube is broken off where this tube should lead.   • Omega B 2.0 jerks

    Hello, we have been fighting a phenomenon for 2 weeks: If we have driven the Omega warm, it starts to jerk at times. In the stand, the idle speed drops briefly to about 500min-1. We have already replaced the defective seal on the exhaust manifold and installed new spark plugs. The problem appeared suddenly and without recognizable signs.   • Passenger airbag or not – how do you recognize…? (Mist…)

    Is there a clear visible sign whether a V70 (produced for the Swedish market) has a passenger airbag? I picked up my vehicle today and found no airbag embossed on the passenger side. I have to admit honestly that I did not pay attention to it on the test drive (but here already tips should be given to make sure that a passenger airbag is installed on “Swedish” vehicles). On the front window are the symbols for Airbags – I think this is on all front windows. Otherwise no indication of a passenger airbag. The dealer could not help me on the phone and said you have to connect the on Monday in the workshop and can then first see if a passenger airbag is installed. First I was shocked when I had the suspicion…and think that no one is installed (as otherwise I only know this with an imprint” airbag on the driver’s board on the passenger side). If there is no passenger airbag available, all the sellers would point out it by themselves. Unfortunately I did not print out the original message at Mobile and it was deleted immediately after purchase. The seller did not say anything about the missing passenger airbag. I think he should have done that. Otherwise I am satisfied with the vehicle. If the passenger airbag as suspected (I am almost 100% sure) is missing – what to do ? Should I claim another price discount? or am I afcah myself to blame because I was too stupid to take care of it? Can I retrofit the passenger airbag?
