  • Chassis recommendation Volvo V70 2.4D MY 2008

Hello Together, Which chassis combination would you recommend? Damper: Bilstein or Koni, has someone already gained experience with the Koni FSD? Springs:Eibach or HR From my history, I would tend to Eibach springs with Koni yellow, but what other car with a noticeably older construction level did not have to be the suitable for a significantly newer construction. The Saab 900 NG was finally based on the Vectra A. Greeting Tom

  • Switch from V70 to XC 90 / Hand switch: 2 of 50

Hello, I could take over a well-equipped 7-seat XC90 D5 that comes out of the lease in the spring. But is a hand switch. On mobile.de there are only 2 hand switches on 50 XC90 with approximately the data of the XC in question, which could represent extreme obstacles in a resale, because I suspect that in this vehicle class Automatic is almost a “must”? How do you see that? I know, this is not the XC90 clientele but somehow fits, I find. Greetings

  • Register rims with Swiss TÜV

Hello together See picture the following was faulted at the MFK (Swiss TÜV). Now I ask myself where I can find the necessary documents, which I can present for testing. Especially the wheel mounting poses challenges for me. Where would that be obvious? Thank you Slims

  • Omega A Cooler

Hello Leutz, I would have asked a few questions about coolers! I don’t have the A Omega 2L Bj 91. Water cooler was broken, so I bought the scrap metal – for the Fuffi. Jetz is also broken against me and can only get the water cooler without a balance tank! Can I use the one with…. Can I also install the other one?? Should still work, because the dimensions and connections are the same. – I think ^^- Only the balance tank would be clamped off… but that would be with the cooler then anyway unw ichtig!!?????? Would be nice if you could tell me if it really works… I am grateful for every tip!!!! Why were the Omegas built from 93 without compensation tanks……? The question is not so important, but would interest me nevertheless!!! Thanks already to all Gruss Jens

  • Omega A Gasoline doesn’t start anymore

Hi Leutz, now that my Omi hasn’t done much bitching for the last 15 months, he gives it to me now 🙁 Omega A, 2.0l, 8V, first series, ORIGINAL 112tkm Friday off, everything normal. This morning in, trying to start, everything normal, only the engine gives no sign of life! Organt quite normal (battery was good), but no sign that there is any explosion happening somewhere. Luckily, my wife didn’t need her car ;-). This evening then immediately the usual suspect the gas pump relay, and with the adapter cable the three thick plugs bridged. Gasoline pump ran already once, you can hear, but he didn’t jump on. So tomorrow with the motorcycle to work :-(, woman needs her car tomorrow, unfortunately. My next step would be to hang the fuel hose at the front of the pump and see if really fuel comes (some tips where best?). Next, see if he also ignites (kerze out). Had something else at Christmas so what hot tips would you have as next steps?? gruss, pierre PS: please, if I only screw around the thing the next few days, the Christmas peace at home is strongly endangered, so, every tip I don’t have to disassemble the whole cart is helpful! 🙂 🙂

  • As of today, I’m one of the car drivers

Today I picked up my 2.2 l Facer Caravan , after installation of a Prins VSI 2 from the retrofitter. Conversion has been done very well, there was nothing to complain about. after the first 100Km I was surprised car ran flawlessly. A performance loss was not to be noticed,if at all, very low. Hope it stays that way.

Can someone tell me now if this changer runs into my Volvo. Thank you for answers Mfg Matthias

  • Marten protection – wire harness

Hello guys, I have a capital damage to my V70 II Bj 2005, the wire harness needs to be completely renewed. Is there any suitable accessories for this model to seal the engine compartment from below? Does something else help against this rodent (electric shock installation?) What experiences do you have with such damage and the duration of a wire harness order and repair. There is unfortunately no replacement vehicle (too close to the place of residence) but after all the partial cascade pays the damage abzg In my carport, shortly after midnight a week ago, there was a 10 minute fight between 2 martens, which was so loud that I wanted to get out of bed again to see what was going on – now I know that such field fights around this season are “normal” and that the (bit) aggressiveness of the animals increases strongly and they seem to react to the car parts (cable, rubber, etc.). nd recommended to remove scents, in my case there is a capital “blow” that the dung animal left on the small platform inside next to the right “kot” wing. Greeting from the foot

  • Headlight B Omi, glass individually?

The search in the net was unsuccessful, at E B.. did I find some for 39 mosquitoes, one knows away or rather fingers away? Greetings Armin

  • Project: Automatic gearbox replacement at 2.0

What I plan to do: change the AR25 DG transmission to an AR25 BD with my 2.0l 8v caravan. The gearbox is already at home and has to be prepared now, i.e. sealed. In addition, of course, it gets a new filter. The filter/sealing set has already been ordered and also a new radial sealing ring for the gear shaft and a new simmering on the oil pump has been ordered. I have now ordered the “new” G I will use the converter from the old gearbox, if it has not entered. I would have a few questions to the experts: 1.) I also have to convert the oil pipes from the old to the new gearbox, since the two lines were squeezed during transport (see pictures) and I fear there is too little oil going to the cooler. What do you think? A pipe – is attached to a hollow screw I think and the other My question is whether I need gaskets or something like this with these connections. 2.) Question: Do I have something else important to forget? Do I have to renew the 3 Torx screws with which the cardan shaft is flanged? These should be de-screws. And the converter screws? Have you read where to fix them with screw glue. Is this necessary? and the 3rd and most important question: WO to the vulture has the 8v the engine suspension??? It would be woh l advisable to hang the engine from above with harnesses or something like that so that it doesn’t fall on my head, but I’m too stupid and can’t find a bracket or anything like that. Where can I rest the harnesses on the engine without engine suspension, or is it too well hidden for me? Can I support it from below as an alternative, like oil pan? Please forgive me, that’s my first gear change, but it’s pulled through, it’s at all costs! lg blescha
