Hello together. Got delivered today the Omega of an acquaintance. Crank housing has a beautiful hole. Now there is a motor replacement. At a Vectra with ecotec machine I am just in the last trains, it was very tight. At the Omega B with ecotec engine seems to me to be more space. Only here you can not get to the wiring and gear screws on the spray wall. Has someone ever removed a 2liter ecotec motor from an Omega B and if so how? Motor Getr Is it complete? Up or down? I would be very happy about reviews. Thank you in advance and many greetings from Steini

Experiences V70 I Automatic
Hello together, I would have a question to the V70 – automatic fraction here recently I got a nice V70 I, 20V/170PS automatic My first automatic at all and I don’t really know what to think of his “driving and drinking culture” … Find, he is very sluggish for 170hp, except vll per kickdown, then he roars in highest tones and pulls off quite well. But I want to have to assume that to him as rarely as possible (at the moment) still a V70 switch with 144hp,with the ka nn man prima (undertourig) cruisen and if necessary also give some gas, overall he makes a much more “spritzier” impression. Especially on climbs the automatic switches the wolf, stirs up in the aisles, up – down – up, really bad, as if you just made the driver’s license 😀 If you step through the gas pedal often – nothing. No down turn, no acceleration. Consumption is already enormous … highway well loaded to camping went still: with Tempomat 1 20-130 – 8,6-9L Mix of overland and city (1/3 : 2/3) > 15L !!!! I soon fell down! How is this with yours, is it normal? Can I not imagine …. Thanks already and a nice evening to you VG schwedens

Tips for V70 beginners?
Hi, I’m a novice driver and have a budget of 4000€. After a few searches and clicking through forums I’m quite sure that my first car should become a V70. The 940s I originally wanted, because of not existing screw experience, I hit my head quite quickly, but I didn’t want to give up the dream of the Swedes combi. Because of the environmental badge, I currently tend to a petrol engine. A pair of reasonable-looking offers, the I have already opened up the following questions: Do you think that you can get a reasonable V70 for 4000 ticks or is that completely unrealistic? What should beginners like when buying? How complex is the technology at the V70? Can you read in and repair smaller things as laymen? And what about the availability of spare parts? I hope I am right here with my swarm of question marks… V thanks in advance for your tips!

Need help with Xenon bze. autom. Luminous range regulation?
Hello! I drive an Omega Caravan Sport 2.5TD EZ. 08.2000. I am really very satisfied with the Omega (apart from the Navi and the CID, which I am sending today to repair) however, as for the Xenon some fraga arise: With nem Vectra B and some other vehicles with Xenon I know that the headlights first “run down” a little and then adjust themselves to the loading accordingly and the Omega does not do that, is that normal? I have so the Feeling that the automatic light range regulation only sporadically works and yesterday the Omega broke for the first time a message in the color info display but then not again. I had the headlights adjusted last week and after that the light was no longer “clamped” directly in front of the car and only on the floor but it lit up and it then became as I know it from other cars traffic signs and posts intensively illuminated and now I have the feeling that it’s turned down again? Does someone know what this box or much more is missing from the stupid Xenon? Hope I can be helped by anyone, because those at Opel are unfortunately too stupid – and you can’t ask about the 2.5TD either, especially if they’re missing something

Test drive with an XC 90 D5 with Heico tuning
We are currently driving a Mercedes T-model (03/2006) E 280 T-CDI with 190 hp and 7-speed automatic. Are very pleased with the styling and design of the great Sweden and have now made an extensive test drive with an XC 90 D5 summum (EZ 09/2010), automatic with HEICO tuning and 210PS. The car could fully meet the expectations, except for the engine and the transmission. The 5-cylinder is always present and clearly heard up to approx.140Km/h. The 6-speed automatic always gives the driver the feeling very Being nervous and not knowing if you can tame the engine. When accelerating, the motor turns very high (up to approx. 3500 tours) and then with “grinding clutch” via the automatic to release the force of the moror quite quickly. Even on slight gradients, the automatic switches a gear up and not down, so you always have the feeling the power is missing. In this way, the consumption indicator goes unnecessarily up. I mean that with a little more fine tuning of Autom I know that the new model will come in the next few years. Unfortunately, for me and my wife, this test drive was not the way we imagined it would be. This means that the change to an XC 90 is not going to take place in the near future. No one wants a deterioration in the quality of the car to be sold voluntarily. r has heard exactly the points of criticism raised by us from other customers.

Pathetic light Front lights V70I
Meal! I drove yesterday for the first time in real darkness with the black brick and thought that I only had a standlight on. THAT should be everything??? I am really spoiled by my then 850s. So as that is right now, it doesn’t work at all. That’s blind flight for advanced people! There the old T4 without work relays were not worse. I once scratched a bit in the forum and Terwi was already quite active in terms of an optimization. Ok, from that have I learned that with the OBI around the corner there are probably “White Hammer” (???) front funzeln and you can clean the scatter disks. Well. Will I retrofit/make. What does this look like with the voltage? Does this also run over the switch or is it working with work relays? Don’t find my voltage tester right now, otherwise I would measure what is still on the plug. That was with the old T4 (sorry if I always use the comparison, but I have some it through, among other things also this topic) and then the switch contacts burned down over time, which led to ever higher transition resistances. What else is there? Accessories headlights? I don’t really think about that… Prolltuning and so are not mine. Thank you already! Greeting Thomas

Original rims suitable for winter?
Yes, unique friends, there are already a lot of interesting things to read about the topic “tires/wheels”, but unfortunately not an answer to my question : 1. Are the original Phaeton rims suitable for winter? Background: Have a Phaeton in mind, which was probably never driven in winter, therefore it is summer-ripened on the Phaeton rims. If possible I would have good all-year tires on, but only if these rims are suitable for winter. 2. A 2012 Phaeton will surely be a directly measuring Rei Which wheel sensors are needed or are there any tips? I was able to answer the question via FAQs ‘self’, great!!! Let’s see if ‘this’ goes on, I’ll look at one next week, so far the car looks good and the answer of my questions from the seller, too… By the way, I’m going from a storm of “indignation”, according to my intention to ride all year round tires. I’m basically open to opinions and even more experiences and In the end I am also ready (ubd and the location ) to buy extra winter bikes, if this is absolutely recommended at Phaeton. Many greetings Jens

V70 II – Reasonable Screen Navi (Pioneer HD3)?
Hello everyone, that the factory solution in terms of Navi rather suboptimal, should be clear to every V70-II driver. But which replacement can be integrated both technically and optically perfectly? 1. Bluepower – that eliminates the return sensors. 2. Pioneer HD3 – there is no suitable frame, also the sensors no longer work. Who has had real-time experience there? Greeting carrier bag

New windshield – is there anything to consider?
Hello, at the end of last week my windshield suffered a growing crack due to a rockfall. Is there something special to consider when changing? To VW or rather to Carglass or the like, which now change windows every day and possibly have more experience than the local VW company in this area. Since it pays the Teikasko, I don’t care who does it. It should be neat.

Hello first from Cologne 🙂
Hello first of all together I just want to introduce myself briefly and explain my way to my first phaseton and to my next one briefly. First of all to me: My name is Janosh, am 24 years old and now live in Cologne for 17 years. I was born in America and lived and lived there until the 7th year of age. I was interested in cars from an early age and am an enthusiastic Mercedes fan through my grandparents. This has also stopped until today, however, then came irg I bought my first phaeton at the age of 20 (BJ. 2004 V10 Tdi 5 seater lang). In order to buy this vehicle I sold my old one and worked alongside and saved it until it finally fit. The car accompanied me for 1 year until it came to an accident on the AB and the car was unfortunately completely over. Luckily not much happened to me and my passenger. D In the meantime I drove mercedes until today. However, it looks better financially and professionally and also more forward-looking. So I decided to buy my dream car again. If everything is lucky, I am again proud owner of a VW Phaeton from the BJ. 2004 V10 Tdi the day after tomorrow. So I would be happy to get to know people from the Cologne area who would like to have a tour or to go for a coffee. As soon as the car is in my possession, pictures follow accordingly. Since I intend to improve the interior a bit together with a friend Sattler will then also follow pictures of it. I look forward to numerous and informative discussions and to a friendly one with each other. LG Janosh
