    A new episode from the series “how do I describe a noise” My XC60, MJ2014, D4, FWD, hand switch only lets sporadically hear a single short “tock” when starting. The noise only comes when driving off and definitely from the front car and (apparently) only when I was driving for a while before.The suspicion was on the drive shaft, a mechanic shook on it during a tyre change and meant that it would be ok.     Dear moose drivers, have you noticed how many large salmon are controlled by women? With us in the area (Kreis Böblingen) it is certainly 70-80%. And they circle the big ship far better through the traffic than some “ach-bin-ich-toll” small-cartante, where every truck parking gap becomes a challenge. My theory is that we men here in the forum talk about the Köppe, while our women take a leisurely walk outside. A By the way, my wife (like every day) is on the road with “my” not even half-year old XC90 and has already cheered 10000 km on the car. She is fun, and I like to ride with you.     Moin together, are there any problems with the automatic transmission known with V70/II? After the first of the reverse gears failed, it was then a short time later also the forward steps. It is a T5 from 2000 with approx. 180,000 km.

    Hello Omeganer, since I am still not rid of my thermal problems I wanted to ask which consequences an unusual fan from the charging air cooler has? Does this actually affect the engine temperature so extreme that the normal cooler no longer follows?   • Installation Dashcam

    Hello dear community, I intended to install / install a Dashcam system (Blackvue DR650GW-2CH) in my V60. The installation should be “clean” as far as possible, i.e. without visible cables. Due to the existing head/side airbags, however, I am uncertain whether the project can be realized at all. In addition to the laying of the power cable to the safety box (battery monitor is included) along or behind the panel of the A-pillar, also the laying the coexal cable to the rear camera along the edge of the roof sky. If necessary, a specialist workshop should be able to operate a partial dismantling of the roof sky. Has any of you been able to gain experience with the installation of Dashcams in the V60? Bzw. can any of you give an assessment or feasibility against the background of the installed airbags? I have already asked the surrounding Volvo contract workshops about this. Also the estimates regarding the feasibility of the roof sky differed far (from absolutely no problem to absolutely impossible). For the installation everything was also there for the price, from 200 EUR to 600 EUR ;-). I am concerned about the clean cable laying with connection of +/- & ignition impulse in the fuse box, installation and setup of the camera then I do it myself. I really ask myself what the workshops for hourly rates retrieve (clear, overhead costs etc.) ., but nevertheless – all academics in the workshop?). For other vehicles would probably be 1.5 to max. 2 hours usual. Thank you in advance!

Now I wanted to change it gasket lies already Parat, I also installed an LPG system, but already have the hose a b, so no more pressure on it. What and where do I have to unscrew which hoses I have to unscrew. I can remember that once there was an instruction for valve cover seal change. with pictures and arrows which screw and hoses have to be removed. And how I get all the slime away everywhere.
