    Good evening, I just wanted to introduce you to my new Volvo S80 T6 Executive, which I picked up today. I didn’t create an extra “order-threat” because I wanted to give you a little bit of a surprise. I hope the surprise was successful. So my first impression: Super Auto! A few years ago I never thought that a Volvo was so good. But it is. The glider was doped with the Polestar tuning package to 330 hp and 480 NM. This performance is enough for every situation and makes a hell of a lot of fun, especially because you are constantly underestimated on the BAB, because this car offers pure understatement and thus leaves so many BMW or Audi drivers astonished! That’s certainly quite interesting and makes for amazing looks.   • Volvo XC60 Solution for Order? Heico?

    After I have already started a topic today, where I have expressed my thoughts (disappointment) about the lack of performance for me at the XC60 2.4…is this perhaps the solution now? I have read a little bit and stumbled over Heico Tuning. I do not need to order a D5 but rather the 2.4 AWD GT with Heico Tuning on 230 hp. The key figures on the website actually indicate that I have enough fun with the car afterwards. 230 hp/450nM / 0-100 7.8 seconds. That is then no longer such a big difference to my BMW X6. I was disturbed by the passage down and from 160. Does someone already have experiences with the tuning, does my dealer do it on site or how does it work? Is the price of approx. 1800 euros?? Can I order it right away with the new car order? Thank you in advance.

  • V60: XC version? If so, what name?

    Does Volvo leave the market below the XC70 III to other manufacturers such as Subaru and Audi (A4 allroad) or will there be an XC version of the V60? In the next few years, a whole series of XC70 II are expected to be replaced and many will not want to take the step to the larger XC70 III – there would be an XC version of the V60. Especially in markets like Holland and North America, there is a lot of XC70 II, there should be also an XC version of the V60 successful. Of course, there is a certain cannibalization against the XC70 III, on the other hand, many of them might be held in Volvo, which may otherwise be a competitor such as the Audi A4 allroad. The development effort should be minimal, after all, it is nothing but a V60 AWD with a slightly higher drive and a bit of plastic cladding. Only, how should this XC version of the V60 be called?

  • Digital radio no receiving station change

    Hello Recently the following occurred. While DAB reception evening in Frankfurt (V90, BJ 2018, km approx. 10,000) showed display the turning symbol and there was no signal available. I tried to get out of the DAB specification to switch to analog radio. But I didn’t succeed. Maybe I did something wrong. What exactly do you have to do to change the radio or how do you turn it off? Normally you can “turn off” the radio by pressing the volume button on the right radio reception. After a long drive and later switching to the highway somehow the radio caught again.   • Advice on the purchase of a C30 Diesel

    Hello municipality, I’m close to buying a C30 and wanted to use your help because I don’t know about Volvo at all. Maybe to my background (it’s always quite interesting) I’m 27 years old and am currently driving a Smart ForFour CDI with 68 hp. Before that I drove an E30 318is, E30 318 and my first car was an MB 230CE BJ. 83. Since I wanted to drive between 80 and 130 km daily I would like to have a diesel again. My max are 14000,- what I want to/can spend. I have now found these two vehicles:Link1Link2 I ask myself which engine is better or if this is a good offer there. Have already talked to the people there they say it is vehicles from Spain that were rented there. The vehicles are completely checked again, service made and everything stacked away.   • Squeezing (tweezing) on the front wheel

    Dear community, for some time now I hear an annoying squeak (or better say chirping) on the left front wheel of my c30. It only occurs when there are short bumps, so when driving over cobblestones, gulli lids, potholes (which I try to avoid of course) etc. Strangely enough, you can hear the noise even when you close the driver’s door (so as not to say “beat” or kick against the tire. Sometimes this noise is also not reproducible, so it simply disappears. The friendly one said he has never heard anything like that. I am grateful for any advice, because it is slowly annoying me…

  • Warning message: “Error in the electrical system” battery or is it missing?

    Hello dear VOLVO municipality, since yesterday I have the following warning message in the display of my V50: “Find out errors in the electrical plant – workshop” (not exactly quoted!). It also lights up the battery symbol in red and in the middle a red warning triangle. Today it went under & over: failure of radio, ESP, ABS and lastly even the power steering (the vehicle hardly allowed itself to be steered!!). Can this easily lie on an empty/defected battery or can actually the electronics be defective? I ask because I would change the battery myself. Otherwise the car goes naturally into the workshop. I have a V50 BJ 12/2004 with original battery. Incidentally, is the first problem with this vehicle. VG Tobias

I’ve been looking into the XC90 II, but also find the XC60 II quite nice. Question is now: does an XC60 Momentum T5 or D5 with leather and some special equipment packages make more sense than an XC90 D4 Momentum with fabric, business package and only a few small things?   • XC90 2.5T no longer comes to power

    Hello people! After 8 months I have the first serious problem with my moose: For about 3 weeks there has been a creepy loss of performance. Did my special riser ramp come up last weekend and this morning the warning light exhaust gas cleaning system lit me. But no message in the display. Acceleration like an old beetle with 34hp. (With a similar problem with my 480 was the catalyst) Does anyone have an idea before I contact my dealer? Greetings Thomas …no, no problems with the car gas system: Error is present in petrol and car gas operation. But warranty will certainly be discussed.
