Moin my loved ones, I bought my dream Volvo a few months ago, put a lot of love into the engine and wear parts (the usual suspicious like cathedral bearings/crossbars etc) I have on the amature board the Dolby Box and the good old Volvo Radio with CD changer. I know, this will blow the optics but I would like to put the radio in the showcase and install a new-style double DIN. I have already read here in the forum about Yatour, but there are some voices regarding FM Bluetooth has already been tried out, but that also sounds very bad (side noise doesn’t go away) Now the question is: Which radio (Car Play etc. can I install without putting the Dolby Box to death? Which mounting frame can I buy that also fits well.(I know, must adjust the shaft. Which adapter do I have to buy? Thank you for the help.

Automatic transmission question General
Hello together, every automatic driver knows it. When you insert D the car, even without gas, drives forward. At the traffic light you leave D inserted and step on the brake. Question: What happens when D is inserted and you step on the brake? Is it as if the car is constantly trying to drive forward and I hold it with the brake (if yes I would switch to N with longer hold times) or does the electronics notice that you want to stand and turn off the “discharge”?

Seat ventilation defective
Hello dear ones, in view of the rising outside temperature I tried once unsuccessfully to start the seat ventilation… On the passenger seat you can notice a very easy “inflating” and air also comes. The sound of the fan is gaaanz quiet to hear. On my side – it is clear – nix On Erwin I found nothing that would be clear and with VAGfans the number of fans is indicated with 4. Heese 2 seat, 2 backrest … seems to me a little luxuriant … Ask the experts: Si Is there 1 or 4 fans per seat? And do you get to the fans from below or at the back? Or do you have to remove the covers? Am I right in assuming that the engines are most likely to be defective or can a STG be involved? VCDS does not show any errors so far. “Recoveries off” would then be a clear case against my patience and rather for the one made. Many greetings Robbi p.s.: Tim Taylor: “Patience is my second first name; why is everyone getting upset when I houp in traffic…”

Tyreswearing for/deep laying/axesMeasurement
Who despite lowering and 19 or 20 inch tires did not have a significantly too large tire wear on the inside of the front tires. I had an axle measurement made about 10tkm ago because of increased tire wear. Now I saw today on the rest site that the inside of the front tires have already gone so far that fabric can be seen. On the run area the tire has completely gone down over the entire width. Only the inside sides are complete As if you have peeled off the last 2cm. If someone doesn’t have this problem with a lower-legged vehicle and 19 or 20 inches and could set the axle measurement protocol. According to the expression, the protocol of my measurement is in order of the values, but since I have already made countless axle measurements myself, I also know how easy it is to submit a top protocol to the customer, although the setting was not made 100%.

XC90 wheel bearing defective after 35,000 km – no culant from Volvo
Hello, last week I had my Volvo with mileage 36,000 km at the 2nd inspection (60.000 km). Here it was found that the wheel bearing is left defective + track rod at the front right. Kulanz was rejected by Volvo, because I had the 1st inspection carried out instead of in March 2008 only in May 2008 and the 2nd inspection instead of March and May 2009 in November 2009. After the mileage between inspection 1 and 2 was low, I did the period in summer 2009 with a Roa dcheck bridged. Conclusion: 1. Road check (no matter whether summer or winter) does nothing. 2. Statement from Volvo: defect of the wheel bearings normal at an early stage. 3. No culant possible, as prescribed inspection dates did not comply. I praise our Dt. car manufacturers, here this has not been a topic so far in case of damage of this kind and the customers were not fed such lapidar. further conclusion: This is our first Volvo. And also the last. Has someone similar experiences od He knows advice here? A frustrated Volvo XC90 owner greets.

C70 Satisfaction
Colleagues, while I was cruisting home today and listening to music in my C70, I realized: I have to write how satisfied I am with this car! Most of the time, problems are written here… but I just have to find out that with the C70 I have the practically perfect car for me: …. just look nice – individually – unproblematic – quiet – great facility – comfortable seats … and everything had to be said at a reasonable price. … and in the somm he still has to get a replacement convertible as long as you still get usable copies, the price of these cars are really attractive at the moment.

Volvo 850 TDI Ignition problems
Moin Moin, I’m new here. My name is Tim and I’m from near Itzehoe. I’ve been driving a 850 TDI since 2009 which has never let me down. But now he’s been zagging around for some time. He often starts very bad. It doesn’t matter if the engine is warm or cold. The outside temperature is also independent of that. I know a lot about the topic here, but I haven’t found anything about my symptoms even after a long search. Namely: If I am looking for a The key in front of the lock often starts turning back and forth, i.e. from I to II and back… or when starting the key in the lock it almost always starts. Now I have already done the following: CONTACT PLATED ignition lock renewed-check glow plugs/pre-glow system -check LMM-check exhaust gas return valve-CHECK starter-check Nevertheless, it seems to jump in the mood, or it leaves me a bit (longer) orgeln. Ignition again, try not to…sometimes it works.. I also read i But due to the positive result of the “go” and “go back and forth jacket” with the key during the start process, it can only have to do with the lock or the like, right? Thanks in advance for your tips that spare my wallet… Peace, Timmey

Automatic transmission Oil flushing
Hello all, The next few days I would like to make an automatic transmission with my 98 V70 (B5254t) 4 gear automatic transmission oil change including flushing. Basically everything is clear to me, only the connections on the cooler look different than with all the videos (mostly from America). I don’t have such a green plastic clip, but a metal connection with metal clip over it. If I had already had a short time on, is definitely the gear oil connection. If I have the connection TOP If you separate from the cooler, does the oil come out of the cooler or out of the hose when you start/pump through it? Is there also different information here?!? In other words, is the hose that goes up into the cooler the cooler inlet or the cooler outlet?

BLIS malfunction?
In spite of all the advice, I ordered BLIS. However, the function is extremely modest. Especially the right BLIS indicates about every 8th vehicle, that means I can only see the light on every eighth vehicle. In tunnels it shows regularly when the headlight of the outdated vehicle appears in the rear-view mirror, which is also a joke. With trucks it sometimes flashes two or three times on during the overtake. Who also has BLIS and also such a misconduct? My garage had found nothing, but a uodate played up. Since then at least the periodically appearing error message (reduced function Dead Angle System) no longer occurred.
