Can I change that? How? What do I need to replace it there? What are the parts so that I can order them well? Have looked at me and it looks as if the 1 is part with the cat, so no bells are seen. Can I have the workshop done by myself or rather Endt and middle pots have to be new to me too but that’s the thing. smaller evils I think edit have already found in the search but still not smarter times licking

V50 1.6d, BJ 09/08, 145,000 km, test drive, what care?
Hello, I’m going to go for Volvo test driving tomorrow and wanted to ask what you should be careful about. ZR has been changed to Turbo or DPF no indication. Check booklet has been run, gets a new inspection and TÜV/AU new when selling. He has a great equipment (momentum) and a good course (6500). Nevertheless, I have respect for any repairs, such as DPF or Turbo. 12 months warranty are included, but nevertheless. Visually he looks great inside and outside. 2 previous owners. What surprised me when I was in possession (the first time in a V50) is the plug, which is sitting in the driver’s footroom on the left. I noticed when I wanted to open the bonnet. But where the 850 has the lever, it is not on the V50. So what should this plug be there? It was also so strangely open…and where can you open the bonnet. I also saw who was the dealer who did all the inspections from the beginning until the last one. I will try , to contact them to learn details from the history. Which parts should have already been changed as part of the regular maintenance up to 120,000 km? Thanks for notes. Johannes

Fan Runs permanently also with ignition.
SOS Hmm happy new and continues with the Ommis. I changed the pears at my ECC today all 5. Now I have the following problem, the ads no longer go for temperature and the ones in the middle for the operation and the fan stage. The upper ones each left and right functioning (symbol lighting). Then I made both plugs back again, the yellow right and the black left to check them on solid seat. Back inserted and both audible bar single Now immediately after plugging in the black plug, the ventilation is on its way (I can’t switch anything off). Now I turn off the ignition and take off the keys, from the ignition lock and the fan is still going. As soon as I pull out the black plug again is calm. WHAT IS DA LOS?? The pears at least the top left and right go off with the ignition. But the climate remains dark can’t be on off places and just look at nothing on the ECC except the two Li nk and right just for the symbol lighting. Incidentally, the light guides were the plastic things from the original pears smear. IS THE ECC KAPUT GEGANGEN ???

V8 vs. V6 TDI – from which mileage is the diesel worth?
It is about economic efficiency. What are the assessments / experiences ? Vehicle would be GP3/4 long each.

Poor advice at Volvo
Hello, I’ve been working on the Volvo XC 90 for about 1 year now and I’ve acquired knowledge from studying brochures and the Internet before ordering. That’s why I find it terrifying to find out what hairy “information” you get from some of the alleged professionals, the regularly trained friendly at Volvo: My question (although answer is already researching): Why is there this dark cover plate on the roof? Tailgate often caused paint damage due to falling ice on the roof. Truth: Because the antenna technology is installed under this hood. In order to ensure good reception, the plate is made of a special Bayer plastic and not painted. Also the delivery of the extras after the facelift (e.g. whether the new PDC at the front also contains the silver impact cover or this has to be ordered separately) could not be answered. ehr, many consultants just don’t seem to “love” their products. Incidentally, this is not only happening at one dealer but at several. In the Hamburg area it looks quite gloomy. In my experience, the best consultant in HH is a woman (Fa. Krull, Mrs. Holthausen). Does it look better outside Hamburg ?

Instructions for burning the heater free
Hello, my auxiliary heating (GP0, 3.0 TDI, Original SH, Bj 2006) has stopped operation and locked itself. A friend with VCDS has read out the error codes: 01412 – Fire candle with flame monitoring (Q8) 010 – Interruption/short circuit after Plus – Sporadic 01412 – Fire candle with flame monitoring (Q8) 008 – unplausible signal 02251 – heater locked After unloading and unlocking it can now be started again but without noticeable heating power everything goes again after approx. 4 minutes from: I found some clues that the glow candle can be burned free with VCDS or via Webasto DIAGNOSE, but unfortunately no concrete instructions can be found, especially not for the Phaeton. If someone can post these here or link them, that would be very nice thanks Moseltaler

There are also battery wonders!
Again and again there are new topics about the two batteries of the Phaeton, which either say goodbye early or lead to electronic errors due to deep discharge. Therefore, I would like to open a positive battery topic: My Phaeton 3.0 TDI Built. 12/2008 still drives stand today (Km-Stand 170205) with the first batteries, i.e. both comfort and starter battery. I am lantern parker, i.e. my fatter gets snow, ice, rain and cold. If I think about it, or if the heater doesn’t start due to undervoltage, I charge the starter battery and then the comfort battery with my Cetek. Last weekend I charged both batteries again and read the stamped production date on the poles: 42/08 and 41/08 One more time should say that the Phaeton is a diva… Of course I also know, that this is certainly an absolute exception, but I think this battery power is worth a report here.

Stand-alone heating starts on its own
Hello together! Despite the fact that I do not open double or triple threads on this topic! If yes, sorry for it! My problem: Have a Phaeton V6 Diesel year 06!2010! Very often it happens that after a ride and subsequent parking of the vehicle somehow seems to be getting the heater. I get out of the vehicle and then you can hear the heater starting like a turbine. Also it often smells like the typical Die This would not be so bad if I did not have the feeling that the consumption of the board computer unfortunately does not correspond to the consumption of the tank. It is a good one litre above the computer consumption. The extra consumption would be explained by the almost constant start of the stand heating when the vehicle is switched off! Has someone already had similar problem with the stand heating or an idea about it. Thank you already for your comments!

Differentials
Moin to everyone together. It’s time to go back to ko……en. Got my fat guy for 6 months now and there’s always something new. Now I have noise from the rear axle. Tap the differential at the moment. So……for the first time, make an oil change at the differential and see if something changes. Apparently, you can’t just have the things checked out. Would be grateful if someone could tell me what kind of oil has to go in and if necessary the crowd.

Battery empty after repair oil cooler
Hey guys, I had my fat from 3 weeks ago until 1 week ago in the middle of Germany in the repair. On the highway the oil cooler went through me, in the entire cooling circuit only oil majonaise. Thermostat, oil cooler, coolant bridge seals, heating circuit control valve, water cooler, water pump, timing belt, new coolant and new oil were changed. Last week I brought the fat back to Cologne (300 km). Yesterday, after 1 week of service, I was a small round through the I don’t know what it was like at the start. I would say that I didn’t notice that it was hard to start. The battery is only a few months old by the way, and thanks to the long distance (700 km) it’s usually steep. Before I want to go shopping, the car doesn’t make any noise. Even the ZV didn’t open up. My question: Can the workshop do something bad? We don’t have mass connection to the generator again, do we? Thank you for your answer.
