Hello, I somehow have a mediocre reception with the standard Volvo car radio. The sensitivity is much worse compared to other car radios in other cars. (Tested in comparison to the driving distance with the same set transmitter.) Can it be that the connection to the antenna in the glass window at the rear left becomes fragile and has no proper connection anymore? Or is the amplifier possibly the reason? I don’t really want to believe in a cable break, since the antenna nkabel is not constantly bent (except on the radio at the back directly). Is there possibly a radio setting for the sensitivity of the reception? Has anyone here already gained experience? Thank you!

OPEL ANTARA – Korean Opel imitation ?!
Tach people, I think it is also very good that OPEL has announced a new off-road car for 2006, will probably be called ANTARA !!! What I don’t like at all : The car is produced together with the Chevrolet Captiva in Korea at former Daihatsu, since both SUVs are based on the same platform !!! If you get an OPEL, then probably also because you believe in “German Wertarbeit”, as well as on the securing of German work plans etc. !!! e, an OPEL should come from Germany, whereby the Japanese and Korean car manufacturers are also not incapacitated !!! But the image of Chevrolet and Daihatsu is not exactly good !!! If the Antara is produced in “Billiglohnländer” then at least the price should be lower, so in the area of the Hyundai Santa Fe or Kia Sorento !!! MfG Frisch-Thinner

2.2 DTI Frontera and never oil change again *g*
Hello together ! I studied my service plan for the frontera today and I notice something there. 1. Little driver, i.e. Service Group A 2. Engine is the 2.2 DTI and is excluded at the oil change interval. so this engine with the vehicle is not listed in the combination. Hmm, yes what should now the ? Under the “severe conditions”, which do not apply to me, because KM < and car use is easy for the Monterey but otherwise not listed... so never again OEL change ! Super Opel, technology the enthusiast! We understood *g* tomi

V70 II 2.4 Gasoline comp. with diesel; noise level in the interior
Hello together, I’m planning to buy a Volvo V70 II soon and I’m not sure yet about the engine. I’m reading now across the posts that’s all very helpful.. just not about the noise in the interior. I want to be able to ride the car comfortably 160 km/h on the highway with rather quiet noise. Low speeds would certainly be helpful. I drive about 18,000km a year. A lot of highway but also city. For economic reasons would be a 2.4 with subsequent LPG retrofitting my choice. I just wonder if this makes me “acoustically” happy. What do the other drivers of this model say. Will it be loud at the higher speeds? For 5 years I have been driving a 1.8l Audi A6 of 97. It just turns too high in the speeds and annoys me acoustically. Talks with the children behind are quite exhausting and loud… Or should I use a diesel at a limit of about 8000 instead? the manual transmission): 2.4 l from 2003 with 130,000km you could probably get for approx. 5000,- plus 2000,- LPG. a D5 from 2001 under 180000km could also start from 7500,- would probably be smoother but expensive in maintenance. what do you think? How is the noise in the interior at 160 zw. the 2,4l petrol and a 2,4l D or D5? Thank you for your advice first.

Finally, V70R in the garage 🙂 (incl. Rep. questions)
Evening together, I have to create the thread now just to share my joy with you Had the 2.5T with 209hp by last year April and I have always been on a R. Unfortunately there was never a good offer. After that I was absent and on the road with other brands. Since last Sunday I finally got another Volvo under Arxxx It has become a V70R from 2003 with LPG (as well as my Volvo at that time already). A few things are still to be done and up-to-date he also disassembled a bit in the garage, as I wait for the delivery of Skandix. If everything fits he will then be finished on the weekend so that I can register him…hopefully!! Until then I spent most of the time with the care of my new old Dickelch and took a few photos. On the WE I want to get the moose technically fit again. And then there are still two electrical problems on the paper, which I hope with “a little calibrate and update” still in get the grips (ABS ECU and Navi no longer leaves DVDs).

Need help with sunshade C70 Cabrio
C70 Cabrio, Bj 2003 Moin to all Today it happened. The sun visor driver side is broken to my wife. That is the left plastic axis. Now the thing was dangling in the car. Well, I thought…. just take off and get a new one. Pustekuchen. After I had the two Torx out and had carefully pulled the plastic holder out of the disguise, I saw the cable from the slide switch for the mirror light. I have now tied the aperture up to be able to drive. Now ic h the following problems: 1) If I have researched correctly, the cable is quite short and would have to end near the large interior light in a small white plug. How do I get the cable plugged off? Must the complete cover down and if so, how does it work? 2) I need an aperture in beige. Maybe someone has another one. Thanks already for your help Greetings Thomas

Vibration while driving and no idea from where – 3.0 TDI GP3
Hello together, as maybe in the one or other post already read, I changed all the handlebars VA (original parts TRW/Lemförder), the coupling rods (Meyle) and the track rod head (Meyle) with my 3.0 TDI GP3. Axle is now also correctly measured and adjusted. Tires all around new. Nevertheless, I still have a vibration, which is sometimes weaker in intensity. Most noticeable at approx. 60-80 km/h, but also at 130 km/h cruise control. In addition, I feel a slight flap on the front axle with bumps on the road in urban traffic. The problems were already there before the exchange of the handlebars. Also with the summer rims and almost new tires. The summer bikes have 19″, the winter wheels 18″. Have tried different air pressures, sometimes at the lower limit, sometimes a little more. No difference. Vibrations are also there when I switch to neutral when I roll. Axialge steering on the steering gear have no play, wheel bearings at the front do not make any noises and also have no game. I can only think of the drive shafts now. But would it be new to me that a drive shaft clatters in unevenness on the road or only causes vibrations but does not make grinding/knocking noises. The cuffs are not ripped or greasy. One of you might still have another idea where the problem might lie? VG Ulti

V10 transmissions
hello, for some time the switching processes in the lower gears became a bit rough and with constant driving there were speed fluctuations. Above all the switch back 3.->2. was very hard (in cold condition more clearly than warm) read out with VCDS –> Error 17125 + 17116 on it I had the gear oil level checked and when refilling exactly 3 liters missing! now the jerking 3.–>2. almost harder turn up again runs soft. has someone experience with it ? mfg norman
