  • What will the accident cost me?

Hello, today I’ve built shit, got too close to the city traffic and then after 4 years driving license caught me -.- Well, it’s my fault, but I don’t want to separate myself from the Omega. I can’t say much, the car will be transported to me to Lübeck in the next 7 days and only then can I say exactly what everything is broken. But you could see some things already from the outside. The bonnet is smelled (can’t open anymore) and must be new. The headlights on the right are slightly warped and plastic sheathing is broken. As well as left fog lights. No liquid has leaked out and the car has still driven, no difference from the engine sound. I’ll see that I can deliver pictures. What do you think, what will it cost me to fix the Omega again. And if it is judged, maybe I should have it prepared for Tüv right away? It would not be due until next June, but it would be wrong. Greetings Lappen PS. It’s less about the optical, I like my fat from the driving feeling ^^

  • Phaeton V6 TDI suspension lowers

Hi, I got quite cheap to a Phaeton V6 (BJ 2007) with almost 300,000km. Since the car had new TÜV and made a very well-kept impression on me, I bought it without thinking big about it. I now have the following problem with the car: After already a few minutes standing time (engine off) the car lowers at the front left (a hissing is to be heard) on the right side it descends slightly. Auto pumps up again normally. My question is: Makes sense without to search for the cause directly to install new feather legs or make it sense to look with leak-search-spray for the leak. I would be interested in your experiences and opinions. MFG Domi

  • Around purchase tips Volvo 850, Kombi, as T5, T5R or R

Moin ́sen people … werte Fangemeinde des 850 ́er! First of all a pleasant new one! Although I have only been a registered member of you since New Year ́s Eve ́18, I have been following your more or less interesting contributions for months, for me, eagerly. Now to me and my request or wish. I have been interested in a 850 T5, T5R or R for a long time, exclusively as a combi. Background to this is that since the 90 ́s it was my dream car, only financially not at all. But now it’s time! … and my favorite is the T5R! I’ve already got a lot of literature, Repa manuals, etc. … but somehow I don’t really find something about the corresponding models, variations of equipment, color, engine, transmission, etc. So, in a layman’s way, what fits and belongs together! I would also need infos, support and help, every kind, because I’m not a mechatronician, regarding the technical side. Kan Although I certainly do some things myself, but I don’t have the know-how and the tool of a “professional from the job”. So I’m certainly one of the “green beaks”, which are more likely to grow a 850 ́er, which seems a little repaired and well-kept, probably also more expensive than the cheaper and more repair-friendly variant. My wish would be a 850 ́er, T5R, Kombi, without repa-stau with comprehensible history, in order to make this up to H-Kz.-tire, and beyond, too He will certainly get a season-Kz. and stand in the winter. This is what it looks like for now! Please and I am grateful for every contribution and support! So „Fire free!

  • Power steering becomes loud when impacting

Hello together, again the topic steering 🙁 I had the problem that the servo pump (or what exactly is it called?), as soon as the engine is warmed up, there is a loud whirring / roaring noise of itself, when you turn the steering wheel, the louder the further. Finally, 2 years ago another used pump was installed and there was calmness. For a few days the problem is there again. Is it still new? or does someone have a working to reasonable pr I assume that there are several models, which information are needed for the exact designation? Many greetings Mario

  • Grilling at the Schrauberhalle Ahlerstedt 2015

Moinsen love Volvisti, we are still in the renovation…. Nevertheless, I do not want to let it take away again this year the annual cricketing on/in my screwdriver hall* to find. Since in August many people are on vacation and therefore cannot participate, throw as appointment the Saturday 19 September 2015 into the room. Start could be so around noon and I think then the last should be satisfied, as always, all egg with partners/children/dogs etc of a Volvo 850 or V70I, as well as C70, whether with or without a roof. Also no matter whether a “girl engine” or turbo. Grill I have, a box Coke, Fanta, Sprite and grilled charcoal I also sponsor. Cutlery, meat and salads, breads, sauces etc. please everyone bring with you. You can also shop on site at the ReWe. Would be nice if everyone enters here, who wants to. People, it’s summer!!!! Markus * exact address is available on request via PN. • Radio, AUX and a few more questions

Hello Schwedengemeinde, I have been proud owner of a V50 2.4 since last week. The decision to get me a Volvo again was not difficult for me, because I had a V40 years ago and was very satisfied with it. Now it turned out in the short term that this should become my 2006. And as satisfied as I am, so much I lack the opportunity to continue to use my meanwhile beloved Spotify. I spent almost the whole weekend I can’t tell you which entertainment system I have in it. The only thing I know is that I don’t have an AUX socket behind the waterfall or in the armrest. On the radio, too, the button is labeled with CD instead of MODE. Now there seems to be different ways to connect external peripherals or to put them into operation. One of them is a guide on how to work on the internet. The circuit board of the radio can solder an AUX socket directly. I would also like to do that, but unfortunately this is not complete, because the pictures are missing. And the author CROSSIE seems to have been active in a forum for the last time in 2014. Next I found these adapters: –> Klinke These adapters are available in several versions such as Klinke, Chinch or Bluetooth. But everyone says that the CD/MODE button AUX has to be selectable. If not, here the Freu has to be Now my question: Can any radio be unlocked on AUX, even if only CD is on the button? And what is the fun when the friend lets his apprentice play a software? Last but not least, I also found a box that emulates a CD changer. To my questions at this point: Can one theoretically disconnect the CD drive and connect this box for it (I don’t use any CDs anymore nowadays)? Is there a connection by default? uss for a changer, and if so, does this also have to be unlocked again by the friendly? The variant of Bluepower is probably the most elegant, but if we are honest, also not cheap. Maybe you have some ideas and tips for me…

  • Chassis after lowering now unexpectedly hard!

Hello together, since the look of the vehicle came to me simply too “bock-legged”, my GP0 has lowered by means of height-adjustable sensor coupling rods. Since the driving comfort is still important to me, I let it be good at approx. 2 cm. Nevertheless, the car seems unexpectedly hard – even with comfort adjustment in the menu. 2 cm should normally hardly be felt – is actually ridiculously little. Apart from this it seems to be a mood of the car, from times 2, 5 or 1.5 cm to do – depending on the shape of the day… Well: What is lazy here? Do you have to recalibrate the zero point of the level control? Is this trying to “fight” against the new changed vehicle depth and pumping the air bellows too badly? I actually understand the sensor coupling bars in such a way that they specify exactly this zero height and is good… I have NO error messages. Vehicle drives at high level and again at normal level – as always! Damping adjustment also possible. You???? Thank you for your feedback Marc

  • Steering wheel lock defective, please for help

Hello everyone out there! It’s a Phaeton 3.2 liter gasoline, EZ. 2004. I noticed that the steering wheel lock no longer works. After pulling off the key you can hear this noise, as if the “lock” would close, but you can just turn the steering wheel further, then there will be noise, as if the gearing is only slightly touched. Quite strangely, someone can tell me how to get that right again or what exactly is defective and I have to be exchanged? I searched the entire network, but found nothing… Already in advance many thanks to all the helpful here!

  • Engine malfunction: workshop

Dear forum, today my fat guy is having trouble for the first time. I’m going to get an error message with “Key..” and a key symbol is displayed. On the way I notice that the air conditioning, the turn signals, the windscreen wipers and the ventilation no longer work. At home the car no longer starts and the key can no longer be pulled out. With the spare key I could only close the car mechanically. Here in the forum I looked for help about 1 hour and found a lot of information about Kessy. I wanted to check out my Kessy and see that I can unlock the car again and even start again! The engine is running smoothly, the carpet was dry. Only now I have a new problem. Now I have a yellow flashing spring symbol and a warning “motor failure: workshop!” in the fittings. I would like to visit zottel125 immediately doc h will my fat guy still make the about 100km? Greetings Thomas

  • Air nozzle passenger side switch defective?

Hello Phaeton municipality! My newly acquired Phaeton currently has several small problems. In addition to a non-opening tailgate (blinker flashes but no reaction of the tailgate), also a non-opening ventilation hood on the passenger side. The ventilation flap did not work already when buying the car, here was the suspicion of a broken actuator of the flap. After changing the actuator for the ventilation flap (the new engine I got with it when buying) the flap nac h turn on the ignition to drive. So far so well, after all, I now know that the flap would be functional again, however, it can now not be opened again. the LEDs below the flap remain still after several push around on the switch off… My suspected is now on a defect of the switch, does someone know how to check this or. removals? Thank you already in advance!
