Good evening, do you think the AMG, especially the GT R, has the potential for an investment? (Stable value) Best regards

ABS-Spezis beware… here expert knowledge is needed !
Aaaalso It’s about a 98 V70 / 144PS / automatic with TRACS (again the daughter) The ABS error concerns me and also parts of you for quite a while. It all started with it, and the error is still today so that the ABS and the Tracs lamp sporadically went on (mistake read out, sensors at the back both exchanged, are now new). Then first the ECU (9162675 / Tracs) against the the forum control unit (9140773 / no Tracs) replaced. Error away. So my St. When I put it back in, the error 431 came (translated: General error in the ABS control unit). I Googled it all once and found out: Error code 431 means: “Inlet valve back right” “open circuit or short circuit” I can’t do anything with it. Can it be due to the different control units? One with, the other without Tracs. Can someone tell me what that means and how to continue with the error search now? e Measures: 1) Let the control unit solder. 2) Exchanged ABS sensors at the rear (after that the error sensor at the rear could no longer be detected). 3) Examines the plug contacts in a precise manner, uses no eye-catching contact spray. 4) Plugs tested for a fixed seat (locking is correctly hooked in) 5) Both control units are read out immediately after installation and all errors are deleted. I am grateful for any suggestion. Greetings Thomas

Thermostat coolant circuit
With my S80II D5 (D5244T10) the hose to the cooler is already lukewarm after only 2 km even in winter. So the engine reaches operating temperature only after a very long time. The workshop has now replaced the thermostat because it obviously opens too early. After I just picked up the car, I had to find out that nothing has changed. Does anyone of you know whether a conventional wax thermostat works in this D5 or whether this is an electrically heated thermostat if the latter should be the case, then maybe the electric heating could be incorrectly controlled by the engine management (i.e. the electric heating in the thermostat starts too early) and there is the cause. A new thermostat (original Volvo) can not be broken again immediately.

VEA engines Running power/damage
Hi, especially in the new series (SPA, CMA) the durability of the “2l-motörchen” is repeatedly questioned. In the 90s there are naturally no high running performance yet. Here in the EUCD range there are the VEA engines already since 2013/2014. Therefore I am happy about information about running performance and possibly motor-related problems. Motor damage I could not at least find about the search?

Quality deterioration in mobile1? Alternatives?
Hello together, has Mobil the quality of the Mobil1 engine oils deteriorated? On their homepage link, the 0w40 (New Life) and 0W30 only speak of SHC synthesis and to my knowledge this is not a “real” full-synthetic oil, but only a frozen conventional mineral oil (yes, I know, starting product is always petroleum i.e. mineral)Link are 1651 pages (author Star Doctor is interesting) I wanted to switch from Mobil1 0W40 to 0W30, but the 0W30 does not have any Are there good alternatives? What do you think of them:http://www.liqui-moly.de/liquimoly/produktdb.nsf/id/d_1171.html

common sense asked ?
Hello fellow driver and Volvofans I would like to ask common sense here, when would the pain limit begin with you, where you would think to invest even further in your car? Each of you here plans spare parts and repairs somehow. Otherwise we would not drive these old Volvos. My car was just back at the friendly,(as every year) Tuv new and left a four-digit amount. Now unfortunately the next damage announces itself , costs about 2500 € and we have already pushed some small things up to the next TÜV. Again about 1000 €. As I said, I am talking about a car that has no maintenance jam. Maybe the one or the other writes his thoughts so inspiring that I get the desire to continue. LG

Unsettled engine run and engine control lights
Hello together, I have the following problem with my Omega BJ 2001 3.2: Cold start: Very restless engine run, runs only on 4-5 cylinders, it gets better when the engine is warm. Standby gas: Very restless engine run in stand, runs on all cylinders but restless. Engine control light burns permanently only when starting it flashes briefly, at the traffic light it flashes sometimes. Due to this I was at the FOH to read out the error memory with the following resulate: P0306 P0173 P0300 P0160 Who has an idea what that could be, I have the impression that the whole slowly but surely more and more intensified, at the beginning it was only at each 3. – 4. Cold start now but already permanent. I am grateful for any help. Mfg Steve279

Omega B, the stable one!
Hi, as you know, I wanted to build up my beautiful caravan, but it won’t happen. I don’t know anything more about it, but the tracks suggest that I’ve probably avoided someone/something. was a federal road, half-sided forest, rainwet. tempo no more clue, I know garnix anymore. except a few bumps + deep flesh wound in the left arm bend (directly in the bend) did NOT happen. I can only say: beware of omega, from a smaller car I wouldn’t have gotten so out of it rt! and I sat to happiness alone in the car, just came from montage. does not want to trigger discussions, but only to show what big cars are good for and how fast this can happen. I also think it was a driving error on my part (turnwheel overrun), but to be happy he ran out of happy. am fortunately the only damaged. so, there are also PRO-arguments FOR an omega, although they are not the best arguments. mfg, patrick. http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/thumb s/2yk9-6g.jpg http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/thumbs/2yk9-6i.jpg http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/thumbs/2yk9-6f.jpg

Emergency Brake Assistant Pro?
Hello dear Volvo community, I will soon have a change of vehicle, and therefore also a model change. It will probably be a V60 from year 2013. I put a great value on the driving assistance systems. I would like to ask the following questions: According to information from the network there are differences in the emergency brake assistant. How can I find out if this is the “normal” or an emergency brake assist pro? In conjunction with automatic, I have a complete delay on d A City Safety, if I understand this correctly, is not designed for it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything exactly on this subject. Thank you very much in advance Kanyk
