  • Heat values for spark plugs – hope for explanations πŸ™‚

    Moin! Can someone introduce me to the heat values of spark plugs again n bitsl? Let’s take as an example the C20XE, which has as a serial motor candles of e.g. Bosch with the identification FR8LDC (no 100% warranty on the identification, but was believe something with 8 ) When and why then use “colder” candles (e.g. one with a 7 instead of a 8 ) and how are the colder ones? I only know this from reading with more powerful engines (e.g. Mantzel PowerBox on the X14XE [believe Zero sch This is why my thought was that if you install a “sharp” camshaft, the engine gets more air through longer opening times and a larger valve stroke, which could possibly lead to a slightly leaner mixture (believing to have read that a minimally lean mixture is optimal for maximum power, than NOT Lambda=1 ?!), which in turn means that the combustion temperatures rise slightly (please correct me if I am wrong). Are other candles used for this reason, because they may have more heat off (even if the term “colder” candles would be a bit misleading) or do I think that I’m just full of wood? I hope you can make me a little smarter. Thx so far

  • Omega 3000 in matt black paint what would be the cheapest

    Moin @ all Would like to have my red Omega 3000 completely in Matt Black… Who has information how expensive that would be in a paint shop or if I could do it with roll/can myself. If I let this in he paint shop it comes to me cheaper if I myself develop lamps and what else can I do so that I get this quite cheap. Does someone have experience with self-painting in relation to can or roll and the KOsten? Sorry have no idea of such things and Pre isen … Thank you in advance

  • Omega B automatic jerks when starting

    Evening guys Have there a little problem my omega b 2,0 16V Bj 94 automatic takes the first few sec. not really gas on when driving fast (e.g. from the traffic lights) or rather he jerks. That’s also me at about 100 when I give gas and he turns off `n 3 in 4 noticed And what worries me even more is that he was sitting a few days ago (if I drive quietly he somehow has no breakout) he at about 80 no gas anymore I thought it was just a louder and louder knocking (give it to the gas). Then I started it again after 5 minutes, slowly drove home and it was nothing. And now the question: what can that be. Thanks already for your help mfg

  • Rubber band acceleration – thrust air ventil broken ? Steering wheel vibrates

    Moien Moien, my OVLOV is pulling around again. 122000 km are now on the clock and now it accelerates as if it were hanging on a rubber band. i.e. during the acceleration process the speed drops again and again more strongly than normal. (the car has a DSG) End speed is reached without any problems. No turbo noise etc.. Does anyone have another idea? Furthermore, the steering wheel – (straight out is good) from 130kmh the vibration is gone. I hope it is just an imbalance in the rim… …or does anything else come into question?   • Omega B 2.5 TD injection pump from BMW?

    I would like to change the injection pump at my Omega B 2.5 TD because the old leak is. I have now come across an offer: Injection pump from the BMW 325 TDS E39-shall fit according to the supplier also at Omega???Is that really at that?I mean…that doesn’t seem quite absurd to me now, since the engine itself is also a BMW engine…just with a different head,so also bit less power than the old 525 TDS.

    hi… have spent a great week and managed to exchange a warmer swapper… thank you.. now there are four cubes on my writing table and I don’t know which one belongs to.. the little green one with 30 A probably belongs to the place where I have already seen him on a two photos but the other three… 5 A, 50A and 2/4x21W no idea… or good luck I don’t turn the car key around. aid… jmd a photo or a description… a fre the fact that these relays are not listed in the manual or if I will not now combine how high the safety of the flashing systemist and blablabla… please help…. mfg dk

  • Searching for help in Cologne

    Hello, I recently got a 850er and I fell on my nose with it. since giving up is not my strength, I am now looking for someone who is willing to help me. I don’t have two left hands but as far as cars are concerned I simply lack the knowledge and the workplace. My problem is that under the car is oil again and again, I suspect that the simmering of the crankshaft is defective. The clutch still does your service without slipping into it. have already renewed the oil trap with everything so it can’t come. Since I’m a student at the moment I’m looking for a cheap way to keep the vehicle running. Who can help or call me a workshop?

  • Suitable drinking bottle for the drink holders

    Hello, the question may sound a bit stupid but it is quite serious. I always have a 0.5 liter bottle of mineral water from the supermarket on longer distances. I put this in the front, right-hand drink holder. However, since the drink holders are not very deep built, it often happens when cornering trips, which overturns the bottle, because there is too little hold. Means, I hold the bottle precautionally, before it goes into the curve and it just annoys. Is there 0.5 liters of bottles that are slightly wider and do not tilt so easily? Greetings Mathias

  • ABS + TC Omega MV6 mud roller lamp

    Hello guys, have an Omi MV6 (95 ́er Bj.). Recently, my ABS and TC indicator light lights up and unfortunately don’t go out anymore πŸ™ The ABS doesn’t work with full braking either. Did this “hopefully little problem” ever happen? For your help I thank you already now.

  • Timing belt change at XC60 D5 Bj 2011

    With our Xc60 (D5 205 HP) the timing belt change is now due. After reading here that this is not as elaborate as with VW, the offer of the (885€) really cut me out of my socks. ATU made me an offer over 479€. What irritates me is that ATU wants to change 1 pulley and 1 pulley, Volvo does not have such a thing on the KVA. Here are only 2 straps (Art.-Nr: VO31325042 and VO31330870) on it. Does something go wrong here? Another workshop spoke I don’t see any belts on the Internet, but also only corresponding rollers. Can someone explain what is right here?
