Tonal / Compass: 1.3 Plug-in Hybrid Heating
Quick question about the 1.3 plug-in hybrid in Alfa Romeo Tonale and Jeep Compass. If I understand the system correctly, then the burner drives the front wheels and the electric motor the rear wheels. How is the heating implemented in electric mode? Is there the possibility to heat and cool purely electrically? Most plug-in hybrids can do this. The exception is Hyundai / Kia. There the plug-in hybrids can only cool purely electrically and need to heat the waste heat of the burner s.

rust on welding seams in the wheelhouse
Hello, I have seen on the passenger side that there the welds from the longitudinal beam to “radhouse inner shell” (kA as it is called) are all slightly rusty. The car has a “rust guarantee”, but do not really want me to complain about the stress by 20 instances until the application is approved. Especially since I think that the there even with the brush only make blank and spray black paint over it. What could be done here effectively to stop the rust permanently? Al I first chased into every opening cavity spray.

Repair VW Beetles Replaced Spatula
Hello, my first post in this forum. Therefore, a small introduction in advance: About 20 years ago I restored a VW beetle together with my father (KFZ master). Completely disassembled, repaired the body, installed a Dannert-Speedster kit, finished the painting work and built everything together again. In addition to the VW Beetle, I bought a Opel Monza some time ago. Both cars are now subject to extensive restorations, with as much as m My first problem: at the driver’s door a spaced place has been solved. When the car was built up (approx. in 2000) we filled the horizontal bead below the windows with (fiber) spatula. At the thickest point we applied about 10 mm. Directly on the upper hinge the mass of the spatula has now dissolved from the metal on an area of about 5 x 10 cm. In this area I removed the spatula mass from the metal. How do I build the material now best that it is a) stable and b) not rusty? I thought of a splinter set, as with this larger thickness are possible than with spatula. Many greetings, Björn

Search BT / USB radio without much extras
Hello In our Passat 3BG I would like to replace the old beta. It is sound technically nothing done on the car except that it has loudspeakers in it everywhere. So doors in front and back. Otherwise all original and that should remain also so, except that possibly some speakers are changed, but no amplifier etc. What it absolutely must have is the following. Bluetooth hands-free system USB front display color blue white Easy to use I know this only from my Pioneer back then were there di e controller for bass etc and also the control of the sub already hidden very much in the menu, for me not so the problem but my wife did not get that. This should be different now. So please not 100 settings but only the most necessary. Nevertheless, the radio of course should get the best out of the LSP price should stay below 100 €. So Spontaneously I have looked at the JVC KD-R 871 BTE, does not look bad, for the operation I can of course say nothing. EDIT: Ohja, how looks Is that how I get as good a reception as I do now?

Jaguar XF (MY2012)
Hello together, I would like to get a new mobile kit for the fall/winter of this year. At the moment I’m playing around with an Opel Astra (H) 1.9CDTI. The next vehicle is supposed to offer more space, comfort and performance. However, the running costs should not rise to the immeasurable, since I will mainly use the vehicle for business (–>Freelancer). Furthermore, I won’t buy a new car. First, it’s too expensive and second, the thing loses. I stumbled over the Jaguar XF 2.2D (MY2012) and must say that I can really get along with it. In short: The car is the perfect thing! At least from the look. But now I have a few questions: What are the workshop costs/inspection costs? What about the reliability? What is the difference between the leather equipment (base, bond, soft, etc.)? Does anyone have experience with the Schwabengarage for Servic? e, customer friendliness, etc.? (That would probably be one of the few dealers here in the area) I do not want to ask insurance. That depends on the individual data anyway. Thank you already in advance!! 🙂 Greetings DrMxxxxx

Start questions about Jaguar
Hello you! Normally I am on the road in the Mercedes E-Class Forum when it comes to our family carriage (E280T). But now in the medium term I am looking for a replacement for my “service car” a 17 year old 3 year old coupé. Unfortunately, the substance of the 3 is no longer the best, rust at all corners and edges, so an issue of the TÜV badge in September is rather doubtful. I am mainly traveling alone with the car and indeed about 20-25tkm a year because of this the car is also converted to LPG. So for me only one car comes into question with diesel or the possibility to convert to gas (though not the strength of the Ford engines). I find the X-Type with 2.2l diesel interesting. Since I don’t know about the Jaguar series I want to be informed by you what you might recommend or tell me what you should be careful about when buying cats! Nice to have is all that has buttons I don’t find the equipment lines very speaking, a uf what should I respect this respectfully? As I already wrote, I still have time to look for a new vehicle. Would be nice if you would support me. Greetings Slash

new bonnet Golf V does not sit.
In a wild accident 2 bumps came into my bonnet. According to the expert, a NEW one should be installed. Whether , is for me the question mark. The workshop also after the 2nd attempt did not get a straight seat. Split mass and heights just don’t match. It sits e.g. before left higher and back right lower How big can the differences be. Vehicle was org. until then and accident-free

Fiat 500 Buy – Allg. questions
Hello dear community, My girlfriend wants to change soon from a AUDI A3 to a Fiat 500 1.4 16V lounge. We have already made a test drive with the vehicle (1.2 8V) and we are really very enthusiastic! Finishing is super, the design and much more. Everything was super! Only the engine with the 69hp was a bit shy… So we want to take the with 100hp. We already let us calculate everything just stay in mind so ask me, which the dealer always answered positively I found out here about SuFu that Fiat offers rust protection. How long does this guarantee last? Is the body galvanized? I’m very penitent in this. More detailed information about this would be great. 2. Like any other car brand, engines/carriage/electronics simply have troubles. I would be happy if someone could tell me something about the Fiat 1.4 16V engine. Friends have told me that Fiat engines are often broken, but f Reunde tell a lot These were eigtl. already my questions, I have already used the SufU but are mostly only driving reports there and everything only 69PSler. And if I look for electric problems forget about days… Thank you already in advance and a nice day still! *EDIT* Oh and can maybe upload me a picture like the car from the front with the daytime driving light looks like? I have no idea where of all the spotlights the day driving should be. And I want to order the lounge.

Purchase decision – Which OBD2 interface
Hello Leutle… I’m looking for a way to read at least the error memory of our fleet. I first stumbled over the “finished” devices, which show you the simple error code. Of course, it would be much more interesting to use software on the laptop. Software should be e.g. http://www.obd2-software.de. Just asks me the question about the hardware: Which adapter does it have to be??? He should like to use Fehlerdi agnose, etc. offer for: Audi A2 (year 2002) BMW 318i (year 2002) VW Golf V (year 2005) VW Golf VI (year 2009) VW Passat (year 2002) I have noticed this part: OBD-DIAG® 2055 Interface (http://www.obd-diag.de) Or the one here: mOByDic 3200 RS-232 (http://www.ozenelektronik.com) Or the: 11x multimode OBD-DIAG® 4000 (http://www.obd-diag.de) What is the advantage of the 4000er? The CAN bus should “support” Can I use it to recode (see http://www.motor-talk.de/forum/vw- read-umcode-t2206278.html )? It would be great if someone could explain something to me in this area and give me a nice purchase recommendation. Before the allegations come: I have now 2 hours google and the forum search tried to get me a rough overview of the topic OBD2, however, it still seems to me in many places quite Spanish…
