  • Drosselung GSX 1100 F ?

My GSX 1100 F is year 1992, type GV 72 C. The guy I bought it from said he was assured that it was open. 74 kW is entered – but it runs better than that for my terms. How do I know if it’s throttled? If it’s open, I want to state the insurance technique as well. According to Tacho, it’s running over 250 – it couldn’t, if it’s not at all, if it’s open. I’d be choked, wouldn’t I? Take care of your input, see you soon and say hello from Berlin!

  • New purchase RF 600

Hello together. I am 43 years old and want to get a machine again after a good 8 years break. Can get a Suzuki RF600 very cheaply. Can someone give me some more tips, which I should pay attention to. Thanks and greeting from Hameln Thomas

  • Does anyone get 100% blame in the event of an accident, which overtakes where they cannot overtake?

‘N evening, as a scooter driver one is partly overtaken in the most impossible places; on Saturday morning not much would have been missing that two would have had a problem. How does this look if a VT overtakes at one place (or wants to overtake) where there is both a perpendicular white line as well as a white shaded area, which are here immediately before a turn off with separate turnoff track. How far before the start of this separate turnoff track one should set the turn signal n, so that it does not come to such risky overtaking maneuvers? By the way, everything during a relatively dense fog situation, for which this spot is susceptible. At the earliest only from that yellow sign, that indicates this turnoff? Actually, I put the turn signal rather too early than too late, but for the VT, which wants to overtake me at this point, this was almost a complete brake; despite helmet, that was not to be overheard. By the way, also a clear invitation to police and co ., but please step up speed control also in fog situations and co.. ciao Wauhoo

  • VW Amarok – Gearbox switches cold heavy and noisy

Moin! in another forum I have read more and more that the Amaroks (or Amaroks? ) cause problems when switching at cold temperatures (1st to 3rd gears) and give bad noises of themselves. According to VW it is supposed to only be the case with switchable four wheel, but also a few with perm.4×4 have the same problem. Does any of you already have problems with the transmission? 4×4 type and mileage please specify with me Maybe I better wait with the purchase until the skirts in Hanno construction.

  • Amarok in trailer operation

Good day together, we’re just thinking about getting such a ride. But background is that we want to/have to pull a 3.5 ton trailer with it, according to a seller at a dealer, the “this only works up to 2,8 to. ” , is that really true ? Prerequisite further would be that car needs a car registration so that we can drive on Sundays too. Does someone have an info for me, thank you so much

  • Who has experience in following an F01

In Munich, my next leasing property is waiting. A F01, careful according to the rule, as much car as possible for a maximum of 900,- € rent per month selected. At a list price of 117,-T€, there is now a reasonable amount of car in the house and unfortunately also the sophistogrey that I don’t like. (inside black with wood matt, somewhat antique in the effect) I would like to let this be solved by a foil. Who already has experiences with the F01 / F02 to report what color you feel on the F01 as subjectively good. I want a look that makes the car visually a bit “lighter” and more sporty. White is my favorite. What pain spots for the foiling technology brings with it the body of the F01. Which Berlin specialist company does not fail in quality and leaves the account still alive. Thank you for your answers, Jan

  • Which means to attach a trailer rope to the vehicle

Hello MotorTalk-Community, I have a question about the attachment of the catch rope of my 750 kilo trailer to the intended eyelet at the AHK. I want to attach the catch rope “better” than simply to throw it over the AHK, in Switzerland this is to my knowledge even inadmissible, so that tear-off and catch ropes are always separate from the AHK to attach. Okay, now the eye is relatively small, quite concealed, so I would like to take a snap hook, this is weni less fuzzy than a shackle. But what breaking force or load in kilos do I have to consider here in order to ensure safety? Usually carabiners are sold with “tragability”, but since there is still a ruck in case of error, this should be sufficiently large. Is there experience values? Greetings, Hendrik

  • Engine weights: comparison four-/six-cylinder

[EDIT: For multi-forum readers: The thread was already in the A5 forum, but I “excluded” it when I saw the special motor forum] Just think about adding an A5. I had thought about a four-cylinder TFSI (hopefully the 2.0 TFSI that will be released soon), because I don’t need that much power first and, secondly, I don’t want to drive around on the front axle with such a six-cylinder block. In the A6 the 2.0 TFSI (I know, the “old” model is still) – only 5kg lighter than the 2.4-cylinder – 10kg heavier (!!) than the relatively modern 2.8 FSI six-cylinder – and only 20kg lighter than the 3.2 FSI in a completely different class In the A5 the 1.8 TFSI is at least 100kg lighter than the 3.2-cylinder. FSI (no quattro). However, this will be more due to the better equipment, because in the A3 Sportsback the 1.8 TFSI (new?) is only 15kg lighter than the 2.0 TFSI (old?). Does anyone know about the engines? Is the turbo with the charging air cooler etc so heavy? Or is the four cylinders based on a potentially heavier cast iron block and the secers on an aluminium block? According to the above calculation, an A5 2.8 FSI with +/-5kg would be as heavy as the 2.0 TFSI, and with a much better prestige ! And the consumption advantage of the TFSI engines is even more relative the more you use the turbo.
