  • It also blocks HILLFFEEEE when driving from time to time

Hi guys, I’ve already read all sorts of things here, but I’m going to open my own topic. As written in the description, it cracks with me when I steer. Sometimes it blocks easily. I have unscrewed the steering cover and found a small plastic part in the lower part, no idea of what that can be. I steered something back and forth and noticed that in this eye view when it blocks this “plastic disc” goes slightly upwards behind the steering wheel…. Has jeman d ne idea ?? Thank you

  • XC90 – clutch fatal damage at 46Tkm = 1,800€

After a good 46,000Km and 2 years and 4 months we had now a clutch stotala damage on our XC90D5 (7p./switch): Automat/Disc + Fly Mass had to be changed. The surface on the drive side of the disc was simply gone and had also affected the fly mass: total cost approx.2.200€, of which generously there was 20% culant…. We are sure occasionally with a small trailer on the way (about 800kg GG), but after 46Tkm the clutch blank ??? My old he Audi80(B4 Avant) has held 250Tkm with a clutch and pulled this trailer often! VAG also answered only blabla on my request for a more generous bulwark regulation (I thought of 50%) – clutch would be a wear part – just bad luck! Balloni

  • Power V70 too low?

Hello, I bought a 2.4 V70 (S) with 125 KW and I am a bit disappointed with the acceleration performance. Somehow I have the feeling that it does not come out of the cross. I had previously driven an A3 with only 125hp. There has been a lot more movement. Sure, it is lighter, but the V70 has almost 180hp. I’m really not a fast driver, but when driving off at the traffic light a same small car often hangs off 🙁 Can this be due to the engine adjustment (is everything e Lktronisch)? On a defective, because scraping cat/outpuff (only at 2,000 revolutions)? Does a chip tuning bring what? Or is such a V70 just so lame due to its weight? First registration 02.10.00 Thanks for your answers Peter

  • Exhaust???

Hi wanted to ask if any of you have a sports exhaust with an 80mm end tube (round). Would be cool if you could show me some pictures because I wanted to know if this doesn’t seem too protzig.

  • Motor self-control lamp started while driving

Hello, I hope someone can help me: I just stopped with our 206 SW and was towed immediately. Diagnosis: Engine self-control light went on during the ride and he sounded rather “backly”, thinking he didn’t run on all Zyl.. So now I have been towed to a Peugeot workshop, there the master changed the candles, but they were not!!! (Now we have at least some new candles, slightly smiled…) He bubberted the ann something of ???…-pump in his not present beard meant no more today, after work etc.. and he was gone. Now my question: WHAT CAN THAT BE????? Did someone ever have this problem and can help us? We don’t want to catch up tomorrow the car and then we get a bill of 1000€, because honestly we have no idea about it. Would be nice if someone offered us his idea as a help. Thank you Nicky

  • Peugeot 206 – 2,0Hdi

Hello, first of all I wish you all a nice Christmas.. And now to my question.. At the Peugeot 206 of my sister the problem arises for some time that the car starts badly, when it is quite cold outside, or the car has stood at least 2days outdoors… The engine spins cleanly, however, it only jumps after very long oril.. The problem actually only occurs, since it has become a bit colder outside.. Since my first suspicion on the Vorg For this purpose I used a 6.9kOhm resistance on the plug of the coolant temperature generator to pretend a low temperature. Then I measured with the multimeter to the glow plug, and switched on the ignition. I could measure a voltage for some time! -> Control of the pre-glow system should be ok.. But now I can’t really get any further. What could it be about? Under I suspect the glow candles and the temperature sensor.. What do you think? I would be happy about answers before I start to exchange unnecessary parts now! Greetings Jochen

  • V50 2.0 – gears can be difficult to install with heat

Hi, Since it has summer temperatures, with my V50 2.0l petrol tank (60.000km) the problem arises again that it is difficult to insert in the stand of the 1st or the R-speed – and this especially in a warm condition. As soon as I can let the car roll a piece, it works better. If the engine is switched off, I can insert the two gears without difficulty. All other gears can be switched normal and even at low outside temperatures I have hardly any difficulty I have already tried the SuFu, but the problems are probably more common with others at low temperatures. Could a gear oil change or adjustment bring an improvement to your opinion or is that again only “state of the art” at the V50? Greeting famai

  • C70 II: Parking aid lame and hypersensitive

Hey folks! Next week I have an appointment with the friendly in Darmstadt-Weiterstadt. I ordered a set of winter complete wheels and a remote control for the heater. Besides I also told the dealer about the following curiosity: For example, I am standing at the traffic light, next to me a truck or a bus or similar big vehicle. These vehicles give from time to time such a loud hissing from the brake system (?!) of itself. If this happens, and my Cee is in u Other example: an equally large vehicle buzzes past Cee – Cee gets scared, the PDC starts to beep! Seems to be somehow very oversensitive. Meanwhile, I have the rear bumper first scratches – does not fit to oversensitive sensors one could think. In fact, I can’t really rely on the PDC, as they often cause a lot of problems. The dealer told me that the problem was probably well known – at least the hypersensitive sensors were also noticed negatively by a colleague. However, it would be possible to adjust – this would be diagnosed and fixed at my appointment – you can be curious. Does someone have similar or similar problems with the PDC? Already solved?

  • V50 rims …. Oh, it would be easier…

A question to the experienced retrofitters here in the forum. I drive a 2012 V50 1.6 DRIVe (MW84F1). So with a standard lowering of about one centimetre. For the summer I need a set of wheels + tires. I wanted to give him an original look and looked for original Volvo rims. Unfortunately I did not pay attention. I bought a super preserved set Sadira (internal Volvo number 9466833) for a good course. The rims have the dimensions 7.5 x 17, LK 5/ 108 and ET 45. According to official release of Volvo I bought unfortunately too fast. No release for my moose. Therefore now the question, someone drives the rims on his V50, ideally on one with lowering ? Does the ET 45 fit despite official release of ET 52.5 ? Which tire dimensions could I drive ? Or does someone else experience with rims of identical or larger dimensions on his V50 ? I find the rim so chic and would like to have the set on my car en. Registration at the TÜV should be, if it fits no problem. But the question is, fit the …… Help …..

  • Omega A Caravan / C 20 NE Pin on the housing missing for adjustment

Hello people, at my Opel Omega A Caravan, registration 1993 key number 0039 685 vehicle identification number: WOL 0000 66 P 1 108002 engine number 14677357 I had made the preparations to replace the water pump. For this work there was already plenty of help. Therefore everything seemed clear. However, when I wanted to bring the engine in basic position – ignition OT cylinder 1 – I searched in vain for the thorn on the engine block, which was shown in all description e Marking on the crankshaft belt disc should show. After this presentation I finished my work before the timing belt was loosened and rebuilt. A wrong setting certainly results in engine damage. Therefore, I ask you if there are other possibilities to adjust the engine position correctly – or do newer motors have another adjustment aid? It would be great if I could get support. Otherwise only one workshop bed is left. uch. Best regards, Dieter
