For a project I have to get the current (for that there are finished solutions) and allowed speed of my 2 vehicles ( BMW F11 BJ 2012 and BMW i8, BJ 2015) out of the vehicle. I am well versed in electronics, but I have never dealt with the Can Bus before. Can , K-Can? 2) Does someone know the addresses, i.e. ID’s of current speed and permitted speed? 3) If not, with which software and what hardware can I analyze them the easiest (if anything is simple )? 4) in this context I would like to (this is another proj ekt) operate a module of an industrie machine outside the machine. I also have to analyze the Can Bus and then send the code directly to the module via the software. I would also be extremely grateful for a tip of suitable hardware and software. 5) This would be just a cool additional function: The interior is color-adjustable with the i8. It would be cool to recognize the sport mode also via the bus and then adjust the interior color to it (from blue to orange). …) I imagine, however, that the original bus would not only have to be read out but changed.     Hello, so I drive a Ford Mondeo 97′ diesel tournament with 90hp and disc brakes front and rear (inside ventilated / without wear indicator).
