  • The right to return a certificate

Good afternoon, I have a Leon 1.6 TDI, EZ: 6/14 mileage: 122,000 km In July the remaining rate of 5350€ is due. In the certificated return right the fixed buyback price stands at 5350 € at max. 151,305 km. Each kilometer less gives 4.05 cents plus the buyback amount. So, now the good unfortunately in the paint of the entrance areas has 3 scratches, which are not large (about 3cm long) but for a layman like me a little deeper than just superficial. Unfortunately, since July 19 we have been sitting on a Seat Ibiza SC 1.4 Style4you EZ: 7/14 with 47,000km, which can not be sold privately (that had/has not had familial so nice reasons) Why is it a mystery to me, by the way, because it is perfectly maintained, fully driving without defects with new TÜV, HU etc… Well, the fact is that no one had any serious interest so far and therefore I will take the right of return for the Leon and drive the Ibiza. Now my question, I should the scratch he has my trust made directly at the ywerkstatt or first introduce the car to the Seat car dealership as stipulated in the contract and let me know what I actually get for it? Sorry for the lot of blablabla. Is unfortunately a bit complicated and I don’t want to give my Leon any value or put it on it.

  • Seat Leon bought as an EU car – right for Tüv?

Hello together, a good week ago I bought a Seat Leon with first registration 1/20 from a car dealer with good rating. According to Verkaeufer, the car was registered briefly in Spain, but had only 8 km on the speedo during the visit here in Germany. The registration process was unfortunately incredibly long. The car authority needed with me – purchase receipt – hint where the old signs (from Spain) are located – vehicle identification I kuerze it a bit ab – natuerli I made several phone calls with the dealer, insurance and the authority. An employee of the Dekra made the identification. However, the authority said that the car was already registered as a rental car in Spain. I said that I bought the car as an EU new car and how that could be. I was told that this could be yes, but I get only one year of Tüv instead of 3 (or even 4 as with the new car now). Anyway, I can now immediately get at the beginning to the Dekra, to catch up with the Tüv. Then I have the three years, but still I am surprised. I will pass on the costs to the Haendler. How can such a thing be with a new car? He smells completely new, has now 200 km and still had the protective foil on the display. I’m just a little unsure. Thanks!

  • 125 or 600 Enduro

Hello. I intend to buy an LKRAD or a motorcycle next time. It should be an enduro, because I like to drive around in the woods and in the terrain. Now I don’t know if I’m getting an open DT 125R or a 600 4-stroke, because I don’t know much about the maintenance and so on. Because of wear parts, durability, purchase price and so on…. Maybe someone can help me. To what extent does it pay to get a 125er for an eventue price savings etc. I am grateful for any help and answer. MFG

  • Scratches in the car

Hello guys, I noticed today after the work that I had a slight scratch on the rear bumper. I know that he was not there yesterday because I washed my car and he was not there yet. At work that didn’t happen. I had a suspicion of staring at this morning had put a car behind me after work looking at the car and the car also had a scratch at the place where it might have driven me in. Have the Dam but where else could it not have happened. What would you do in my place? Is not so bad the scratch but already very annoying because I know that he was not there before and I actually wanted to sell the car. So some can think that it is an accident car. Ask for your help.

  • Auto -> Registration office (devalued registration number)

Hello. I have the following question. I will sell my 2 golf in the next weeks and then buy something new within 2 weeks (will be a Golf 1 convertible, which I don’t know yet). I wanted to reserve the old license plates and keep them and then put them on the cab. My supervisor at the insurance now said that I can log off my current car quite normally. As soon as I bought the cab or before he gives me the insurance number, which to register at the registration office is needed and then I drive with my old license plates from my 2 golf to the registration office the direct way. Is that possible? The purchase place will be at most 100km from the next registration office in my district. The car will have Tüv etc. I will have papers with me. I would be pleased about an answer. Mfg

  • Car sales problems.

I didn’t know exactly where to push it in… Hello people, and I have a big problem with a car dealer from Kassel, from which I bought an Audi 80 (B3) 1.8S with approx. 229,000Km on the clock. The salesman assured me that I would only need to drive with the vehicle for TÜV. I did this one day later and I got this list of defects: Headlight setting links too low, right too high. Load-dependent brake force regulator leak, braking performance of the Hinterac Hse not guaranteed. Cross handlebars knocked out on both sides. Exhaust end pan broken. Track rod heads knocked out. Cold running controller without function (not connected). Various cables in the engine compartment not connected. brake effect rear axle Poor braking effect front axle Poor. throttle flaps potentiometer defective. I want to point out that I drove the vehicle test, because you only heard that the cross handlebars had one away, more wa r not recognizable. I have now given the seller three ways to deal with me: Possibility 1: refund of 100€ for the TÜV fee. Possibility 2: repair of the defects until 25.3.11 Possibility 3: refund of the purchase price. Am I right or am I completely wrong there, because all these defects were not known to me although I looked at the vehicle and am test driving. How does this look purely legal? The seller gave in the purchase dealer Don’t worry about any flaws either. I thank you in advance.

  • To what extent does the scope of the EU extend?

Hello, I have a detailed question about my car insurance. It is about insurance cover abroad of my motor vehicle liability and insurance in cash. In the AVB is the following:”You have insurance cover in the motor vehicle liability insurance within the geographical borders of Europe as well as the non-European territories which belong to the scope of the European Union. Your insurance cover depends on the insurance sum prescribed in the country of visit. “You have insurance cover in Kasko in the geographical borders of Europe and in the non-European territories which are part of the scope of the European Union.” What is meant by the phrase “area of application of the EU”. Is there a binding definition for this. Yesterday’s phone call to the customer hotline was not informative and I unfortunately could not find anything on the net. Thank you for your help. Re trouble, Metehan

  • Liability of causers of accidents vs own Kasko insurance

Hello dear car friends, I had a serious accident with my Golf VI on Feb 12 in Berlin (2 years old), at a big crossing the causer took me at the left turn from escaped direction the driveway, I could not avoid and we had a crash at about 50km/h. The good thing is neither to him nor to me what happened, but the cars looked bad. The car was then directly next Monday by an expert in my workshop in sight In addition, I have reported the damage of the insurance company (Alliance) of the accident seller. The repair costs will amount to approx. 13,300 EUR, impairment is 1,300 EUR. The vehicle is not ready for driving at the moment. My problem is that the cause of the accident has reported to the insurance company that I was driving too fast, so the insurance company does not issue a repair release and waits for the police report, nobody knows how long it will take. I get a rental car. only replaced for the duration of the reperture (is indicated with 6-7 days in the report), i.e. I am currently standing without a car since My lawyer said that there is no possibility to speed up the matter, I could of course take advantage of my comprehensive in the case and assign the damage, I would then, as a sidekick, claim the costs (share ownership and the upgrade of the SFK) with the opposing insurance. That is of course also negative for me because the damage-free My question is now whether someone still knows how to put pressure on the opposing insurance company. I honestly can’t understand why there is no rental car claim for the entire time until the car is repaired, as I am not responsible for the accident. Thank you for your help.

  • Families car 50% from NP @ 10 000€

Hello I am looking for a family friendly car, Optimal would be a station wagon or even a car with a lot of space. At the disposal are max 10 000€. The hook is, I get car help because of a professional accident and the car must therefore still be worth at least 50% of the new price ! And it must be an automatic transmission since I can not drive a gear because of a handicap. The insurance should also not be too high because it is my first car and I would be driver ic h start with the highest damage-free classes… I already looked around myself quite intensively, unfortunately it does not always fit with the 50% of the new price with a station wagon… so I thought of an Opel Astra 1.2 with +- 20000km. Since I don’t really know about cars at all but rather with computer hardware I thought, I ask about it here ! Thanks for the help

  • First used car for 3000€

I am 20 years old and I am from Bayrisch Schwaben. I now have my driver’s license for a good 3 years (BF17) and think that I have been swimming in traffic relatively passively. At the moment I share the driving opportunity with my parents. Specifically a Skoda Fabia II 1.2TSI Kombi. My daily distance is just 17km mostly motorway. The on-board computer of the little Fabia shows a An average speed of about 70km/h and between 5.5 and 6.5l on the track. Is currently a complete 80s zone thanks to the construction site, which will change next year. Now the question about the “real” car. I think that I will realistically drive so 15,000 km a year (10.000 km work, 5000 km private) As already mentioned in the headline my budget is about 3000€, since I am now also infected with the combo virus would be a combo quite located. At least it should be a 5 seater, because carpooling is also a current topic. I was pushed on my criteria on car cost check e.g. to the Ford Focus MK2 tournament 1.6. Oh yes, before I forget my monthly budget. I think that should be so 300-350€ a month realisitsch. Insurance probably runs as a second car on my parents. I hope that with my details can be done. 😛 Mfg
