  • Start/Stop Automatic – “Battery charging”

    today, both in the morning and in the evening when driving home, the start/stop did not go – with the sensus argument “battery is charged – when charging the battery the start/stop automatic does not work” – so as far as I know, we ALWAYS charge the battery until it is full – now the SENSUS could only express itself unwisely in this case and in reality think the battery is too weak – but I wonder, of what should it have become empty? – had neither short distances, nor light drives and in the bad weather partly even the AC off… – did you have that already?

  • XC60 2016 D3 Summum – funny sounds

    Hello, I own a Volvo XC 60 since end of October 2018, built in 2016 D3 Summum, 2,0 diesel engine, in the time with 16,000 km, until now I have driven another 10,000 km. The problem is, for a few days, in which there is an unusual sound, so I haven’t heard it until recently. The first time I heard it was for a few days. Sometimes it sounds like a few minutes when I start driving, after it was started another time, so it’s not the same time, and if I blow it moan or louder, it stays longer, and when I leave it, it hears just like I entered the video into the roundabout and normally lowers the speed to 40. I tried to see if it’s only standing on the spot with a running engine or speeding up, but nothing, just on the move. What is this?   • Different kilometers between XC60 MJ 2016 and V60 2 MJ 2019 early on the same route

    Moinsen, we have the vehicles mentioned in the thread title and are very surprised by the considerable deviations in the route. The route is according to Google maps 431,2 KM long. So far we have removed 12 identical journeys; each car six. My car, the XC60, arrives at 431,1 to 432,0 KM. My wife’s car, V60 2, shows after the identically driven route 443,2 to 445,9 KM. We have observed this phenomenon again and again and we are slowly worried about it. So far we have not been with the friendly one, but we consider it. The deviations occurred with both summer and winter bikes. So it can’t be that. Can something be “adjusted”? Thank you for tips.

  • Volvo v50 2.0 d jerk

    Hi love community I’ve been driving a v50 Bj 2006 100kw 140 tkm for about 1.5 years now I noticed 3 weeks ago or he started to jerk easily between 2 and 3000 revolutions and it seemed to me that he no longer had the full turbo power. Then it was gone again and today already the same thing again. Have checked the current consumption once when he jerks but he goes to 0liter in the push-off.   • Rti crash of the system

    I have been driving a new V70 since 2.06. Before that I had the same model. Since 2004 the RTI system has been crashing again and again. I have discussed this with my Volvo repair shop more often. Since I am very dissatisfied, I wanted to change my car. Despite multiple emails to Volvo Germany and a visit to Mr. Storchmeier nothing happened. I conducted the last conversation with Mr. Althoff who assured me that this is on a cable and the power supply is exhausted. Also this turned out to be not true. For 1.5 years my Volvo workshop and I , this is due to the software and especially to the TMC. This is also how Mr. Althoff confirmed to me. Thanks to Volvo for 1.5 years of stress in which I drove 90000km. In the 48 KW comes a new DVD to the market, which I should get to fix the problems. Hopefully! I can only advise anyone to get this DVD on warranty claims, since the old versions (from 2004) can show me this behavior of the RTI.

    Hello ! I sent an e-mail to MR Schweden Sport last week, wanted to have some data and prices for the PPC tuning on the D 5 ( 163 HP). Yesterday then the answer : “Thank you for your email and your interest in our tuning program. We would like to send you the desired information. By PPC tuning we can tune the performance of your XC70 either on 197PS/470Nm or 220PS/479Nm. Your price per package incl. sport air filter is 1,350,- Euro respectively 1,450,- Euro incl. VAT.” why do they give such a high torque to ?? and then also 220 HP ?? At FirtsClass in Lübeck are called “only” 197 hp and 400 Nm !!! has someone already received this from MR ?? I myself ordered the PPC yesterday at FirstClass, should be there next week. Let’s see if it has been worth it 🙂 Cheüß Andre

  • Remote radio control with internal light control

    Tach, actually I wanted to buy a Waeco MT-350 for my B3. However, I find almost 75€ with Porto quite happy. One gets for 30€ finally also FFBs. Had once a cheap one and was very satisfied. The coming home function does not appeal to me, also I have no eFH, which I could drive. I would simply like a FFB with turn signal control and internal light control. Should the light be called as soon as I open the car by radio. If I then open the door, put in and close it, it should go out again (by dimmer, which I have installed today). So quite normally just. Can one connect the door contact or interior light to a comfort output of the FFB also to the door contact or. If yes, how exactly does this work? Interest me e.g. this eGay Thanks for information, would be good if this works. Finally I don’t want to spend “unnecessary” money.
