A wonderful good evening together, I would be very pleased about a few opinions about Drag Star 650. Planned as the first machine of a novice driver, say for me Have the model in mind for a long time, whereby I have to admit freely that this was a decision optics. Even I have unfortunately no idea of all the Tthnic aspects. Now I decided to read a few test reports again, talk to a few people with a clue etc and am now nic á la “bad driving behaviour”,”permanent anger” and “does not come out of the quark” fell quite often. And even the small size should seem rather disturbing, than advantageous. I am itself 1,78 large, at ~70kg Now I stand there and am quite unsure. Maybe rather a Suzuki Marauder? But there should not be all gold, which shines, even more plastic.. I don’t really like the Shadow of Honda so visually. But should well be l by the small cruisers who are with the most performance and better workmanship. What is your opinion on these models, or are there other ones that can be considered if I do not want to exceed a used price of 3500, until all at most 4000? Hope you can help me a little further. Best regards!

New here
Moin together I’m new here, would like to introduce myself briefly – and present to everyone a cheerful “HALLO” Bin ein biker der enden 70s-beginning 90s, i.e. the somewhat classical mope’s…simple technique, spokes, etc. After years of break I now want to get back into the beautiful crusen through beautiful landscapes, on a classic moped. I decided there for a 650 yamaha xs but unfortunately not on the current as regards prices. Have a Heritage special 650 at mobile .de for 3.200€ bj. 88 entdecken. what do you have to invest so for an everyday suitable “part”? what do I have to pay attention to? About many tips of you and your experience, I would be happy. until then I wish you all an accident-free season…and lots of sunshine!! best greetings Horst

Exhaust welded
Hello. I recently bought a Yamaha XJ 600 51J. Unfortunately, there is a problem on the exhaust in my opinion and for the following reason you don’t see the punched EG number anymore. The exhaust is ORIGINAL and has welded a sheet “adapted to the exhaust” over the entire length around it. So to speak, a coat around the old exhaust. The machine is currently in the workshop and is supposed to get TÜV on Friday. I asked the workshop master there if it is from His answer: No, that’s not a problem as long as it’s not too loud. For old motorcycles (Bj 89) something like this happens because there may not be a replacement. Conclusion: Motorcycle not too loud, so no problem with the TÜV Now I wonder what the police say about it when I am stopped. Is it allowed to make such a change/repair on original parts where the EC number is hidden or removed? MfG Drechsl i

Fuel Problenm XV 535
I wanted to do a nice tour today in the nice weather, but only 20 m wide. Then she went out. I tried to hire her again. It did nothing. The starter turned a wolf. Then I tried it with full throttle and without choke. But she ran only with the support of the starter. Then I saw a large fuel puddle under the mopped. It came out under the right Chromei. In the garage I dismantled everything to look. Then I saw the two hoses from the Verga I don’t think there’s any gas coming out anyway. The hoses are stuck open to the Chromei. Why does the fuel get out of where no gas is allowed to come out? Maybe I should clean the carburetors???? Does any of you have an idea?

C4 Grande Picasso Consumption
Hello, here would like to start a survey of your consumptions at the C4 Grande Picasso. I myself drive a 135 HDI automatic. It is a great car (apart from the massage HiFi system for the passenger) but the consumption shocks me. On pure city ride not to move under 11.5 liters and even on the highway at normal speed no cut below 9 liters. The previous average is now just under 11 liters, which is much too much for a mode rnen Diesel, self taking into account the automatic and the large frontal area of the car and its weight. Perhaps you can post your experiences here times motorization / transmission / KM stand / consumption average / consumption city 135 HDI / automatic / 2500 / 10,8 / 11,5 Thank you ! Greetings Bob

C5 after Kuppliúngs exchange strikes the donor cylinder/pedal falls through
When this was finished, I saw the clutch pedal fall through at the entrance (back) I pulled it up again with the tip of the foot, it stayed there. Then I drove home from the workshop; everything OK! The next day, when I wanted to drive away, I pressed the clutch and put the gear in, when I let go of the clutch, the car jerked on and blocked the engine. The pedal remained also below. After phone call with workshop and tip something to pump on the pedal, would probably be Lu ft in the line, I did this , can switch again , immediately to the workshop udndort was found that there was no air in the system . I explained once again the process and the master came to the conclusion , then the clutch sensor and/or clutch encoder must be no longer in order . An exchange must be here . Now cost approx. 320 ,-Euro 3 hours work . Because I have adjusted to this clutch history , I can drive with my car , it goes . However , “Kuplungs Kom plett renewal” not also clutch encoder and taker ? Would the WerKstatt not have had to recognize this defect too ?? Who has made similar experience ?

C5 gasoline 136 hp, 140 hp or 207 hp ??
Subject Used cars, year 2001-2004 The C5 Break seems quite interesting to me for my purposes as used cars, so I just ask to the forum for comments on the typical gasoline engines. I don’t drive a Citroen yet and return about 15000 km per year, partly also in the city traffic of Bembeltown. The 2-litre engine with 136 hp seems most solid to me. Probably millions of times in various Peugeots and Citroens in use and absolutely mature. n with 140 hp brings with it a little more technology, so I expect a higher repair effort with a little less consumption. The 3-litre engine with 207 hp is certainly a lot of fun during cross-country trips, but for city trips I should then probably switch to bicycle and public transport. What do you say about it? Or are you diesel fans anyway?

Do you need to rewrite your driver’s license?
Hello dear people, I made my motorcycle driver’s license (at that time 1a) in 1995 and never had it rewritten to class 1 (now class A, I think). I still had the pink rag and not the new one in the check card format. In the past it was possible to register the class 1 after 2 years. As it is today, however, I could not clearly get to know via Google. Does anyone know if I can open motorcycles with the old (pink) driver’s license? / Roller > 27 PS can already drive or do I have to get a new, small driver’s license? Or is that maybe not so easy nowadays? I have no plan… I am grateful for every info. Already thank you in advance, Ingo

Motorcycle trailer bottom too smooth
Hello together who has got me a tip for the following problem. If I get my motorbikes out of the trailer, then a slide is required. The screen printing plates are so smooth that the mopeds slide down from the trailer even when the front brake is pulled, until now it has gone well every time, but it is a hell of a feeling to conduct such a motorcycle backwards without being able to brake until the rear wheel comes to the asphalt. How can I coat the floor plates so that the Is there any material for spraying, brushing or something else?

Operate the alternator without a battery. Is that all right? MB Vario 818 / 24V
Now to the situation. I have a camper with a MB Vario 818 with Euro 5. Since I have 20kWh Lifeypo4 battery in my setup, I have kicked out the starter batteries and now always start with the build-up battery, which turns the engine even faster, despite longer cable. Now I don’t want the alternator to charge the battery constantly when I drive. This is supposed to do the 2000W solar system on the roof. I also bother with that is charged up to 28.3V. But I liked less high charge Now I’m thinking: I’m installing a disconnect switch, which I open after the starter. Lima still has the consumers on it, but it’s probably all electronic. What do you think, there’s something broken or there’s no voltage peaks thanks to the regulator at Lima. Another disadvantage would be the lack of harmonics, so the smoothing of the voltage. Otherwise I would have to install e.g. 2 small motorad batteries a each 5Ah. Or do you have another idea? Unfortunately I come to the Li It’s bad to do so, in order to clamp off the excitement to check if it doesn’t load and the speed connection W is not needed. Touring counter is on.
