  • Recommendation Cockpit maintenance

    once tried out Caramba Professionals cockpit spray in the black can. can recommend it: smells slightly of leather or so in the direction, so not so intrusive of synthetic lemon and it leaves a dull matte surface, as with new cars, it takes off the shine on spangled surfaces. Shall also look antistatic. The opposite of the usual cockpit sprays, which stink and spangled shine.

  • My new polishing machine – first attempt!

    So, today I tried out my new polishing machine (Vossner DAP 6800). First of all only for the test with the included polishing sponges and the existing polishing accessories and reduced to the bonnet. I used Finish Kare Handglaze and DJ Lime Prime, this article I still had of hand polish times. Afterwards I still gave my HiTemp Paste Wax. I find the result quite satisfactory, although I am not yet 100% satisfied. On the one photo you can see the Ins I just couldn’t get rid of them with the available material. What would I lack of material? I want to add a few polish sponges and possibly even a sharper polish to get rid of light scratches or even such burned insect residues. Otherwise, my paint doesn’t necessarily have many damage spots that would have to be polished, only a few swirls and very few very light scratches are to be seen, but you have to s have pretty good eyes.

  • When did you (or would) have the particulate filter cleaned?

    Hello, we have here an Outback Diesel 2015 with 150TKm on the clock. According to my mobile phone (torquepro) he has an ash load of 80%. My friend once told me a while ago that he would answer the filter only when the error ejects. But that seems rather unfavourable to me, especially since this then probably happens during family holidays at night by 1 in pouring rain on the Autostrada in Italy.   • Buy a new Saab now?

    Hello Saab – Discussor and lover, about 6 weeks ago we had with our Saab (9-3 Sport Kombi, 1.8t Hirsch: 195hp) unfortunately an accident. Another “traffic participant” took us on open road (100 km/h) and rammed us. Both we were almost unharmed (Rippenprellung und Bruch, Schleudertrauma und div. Prüllungen). Our Sääbli is now just a totaler and we need a new vehicle. If there were not now the insolvency of Saab – we would be convinced ng (Great car that has saved us from greater damage) SOFORT buy a new one. Does it make sense to buy a new Saab now? I don’t care about an image loss, it is primarily about possible spare parts for the future and a possible resale.

  • 1.8 or 1.8 Turbo

    Hi guys! Wanted to get a Golf 4 in the near future.Now I am thinking about whether I can get a normal 1.8 l /125hp or a 1.8 Turbo/150hp. Personally, I tend more to the Turbo, because I don’t have a chance to buy a nine next year, because the normal one has become too lame for me.Therefore some questions to you.Hope You can help me further. -What about the durability of the machine (even at a higher mileage)? -How much fuel does the Turbo consume? so in the city with “normal” driving mode? -Is the performance difference between 125hp and 150hp exrem noticeable? -Are there any known “problems” with the mashie?
