Hello all, first of all the warm greetings to all Volvorans! I am actually not a new one, but a “returner” so to speak. After long years of Volvo I switched to a Subaru Outback 2.0D in 2010. Without a doubt a good and very reliable car, there is little to complain about but…. it’s just different. (a long topic) The Subaru is rather a car for car pragmatists and I am not one of them. I also have to feel comfortable in the car and not only drive from A to B. However, after a short time it was clear to me that he had to leave. I compared different vehicles, like X3, Q5 or GLK. The test drive then brought the decision. Now, today it is so far. I order a long consideration and comparison today an XC60. Delivery time (allegedly) only 8 weeks, so first KW in May. Liquid Glass toiletries
Hello everyone! I enjoyed the entire care case of Liquid Glass and last weeks my V70II Bj00 with it: Procedure: First hand wash with vinegar cleaner (was the day before during driving safety training and there was very calcareous water). Then hand wash with LG washing concentrate (brake dust also dissociated easily from the Alamthea 17″ A cleaning with the pre-cleaner and then sealing. Plastic parts all cleaned with LG plastic soap cleaner (with toothbrush and hand brush) and then let in with the care agent. Except for a few deeper aprons the car really looked like new. Yesterday my elk XC90 2.5 T arrived at the friendly one. Then I went immediately to look at him and touch him. Gigantic just beautiful !!!!!! Unfortunately I have to wait until next week Thursday, because some modifications like 20″ rims and Heico Tuning are made. Can’t wait. Before that already a picture. My youngest son Leonhard who suffered during the entire waiting time with me. We see he is happy. But first I look, which is still upable until Thursday. On Friday next week I drive to Munich and have the opportunity to drive in the elk and collect first impressions. Then report about it. Unfortunately, the painting “Lavasand-Metallick” on the photo does not come over so well, but looks just good in Natura. Greeting, kallirolo I don’t know why this doesn’t work here. Onboard computer 850er BJ94 spins…
Hello, I am fresh in the forum and have already found a lot of information here. But I have a problem with my on-board computer, to which google has not spit out a suitable answer yet. And indeed the BC spins in the form that it runs for a time well and then falls out without any obvious reason and turns off again and again. It is as if you hit the battery on and off. When the car is standing he sometimes still spins and then it is like if nothing had been. So I think, I could almost exclude a wackler, because he goes back to the standstill. Also the lighting did not go on, and finally, during the ride after a small Ruckler has switched on again. After the following failure, everything was dark again. Could it be a wocker or maybe gets some kind of wrong current. Have the car for 1.5 months and don’t know the previous history. Next, the AI should be able to get out of day-kilometre counters and lamps and since then I wanted to ask myself if the problem is familiar with the BC.

Engine starts after the second or third time
Hello, my 850er (2.0 ltr. 126 PS petroler, 455,000 km) always jumped on hit. Since a few days only on the second time, today only the third time. When it first runs, it runs great as ever. I have already checked the following: petrol pump (2008 new) runs a short run after ignition (back obeys); front (early obeys) it gurgles briefly, relay (2008 new) switches audible. Contact plate ignition lock could it be (2008 a used part installed)?! Oh yes, all ignition cables new 2012, ignition distributor, dealer, finger 2011 new. Does anyone know what that can be? Radio remote control needed help!
Hello together, I know that there are already countless threads on this topic, but unfortunately the day-long research has not helped me so far. I am recently proud owner of a Volvo 850 Metropolitan from 1996. In the car itself is a FunkZV installed, no alarm system. Since I did not know this until the development of the glove compartment, I bought a used FunkZV box with two handheld transmitters and wanted to learn this as so often described with 5 times ignition 0->2. Unfortunately I have not had any success with it so far. No matter whether fast, slow or whatever. I certainly tried the 20 times, resultless. Also the support of Volvo or a dealer in my vicinity could or did not want to help me…. Does anyone still have an idea? It would be a dream to be able to open the elk on the pocket… Thanks for your support!

New air purification system PM2.5 from MY21
Hello, for all those who think about whether the new air purification system is what it is for them, a few experiences with it. – This works mostly automatically, so nothing needs to be activated extra. – There is a sensor app that retrieves the sensor for air quality and displays the value. However, this looks different than in the marketing documents. Rarely comes the message that the sensor is not reachable. – In the meantime also the VoC app has been extended, so that the air cleaning can be started remotely. In the end, the interior is blown through once. What distinguishes the whole from the pre-climateization, however, I do not know. Probably especially at colder temperatures the heating is not also started, but only the ventilation. Since I am mainly traveling in rural areas, the air is not too bad (the sensor always showed no load) and so a system is more thought of other markets, which are significantly more smogbelly charged. I imagine, however, that external smells are less inwardly, what should be related to the additional active filter. At least Volvo is writing to the chemical filter, but also to me, for example, for example, the chemical filters, for example.

The first day…
Yesterday evening it was time to pick up my XC90. By the way, it is a D5 summum 5 seater in titanium grey with Geartronic, leather anthracite and besides MD player quite completely equipped. After two years X5 d the first 650 km were already somewhat unfamiliar today, but by the way not bad I didn’t expect the Volvo to make a clearly modern impression. My last Volvo experiences are already 5 (V70 TDI), 7 (855 T5) and 21 (142 deluxe) years back. With the exception of the well-known TMC problem in D (in A and CH it worked perfectly) he also makes unchiped (at least) mood. Well with the climate I don’t really get clear yet, but after a day and without a final manual study no wonder. What bothers me, however, that either in the area of the front disc or the sliding roof has had to do something like that from 130 km/h on, Robert has already had to do something like that from the best of greetings?
