  • For weeks strange smell iM HEV mode

    Hello, my XCEED PHEV now has 20,000 km on the clock. For a few weeks I have noticed that the car smells strict after getting off. But only if I was not on the electric road. Speak, only after highway rides usually (with 100-130 kmH). After country road rides, I don’t really file that yet. But I can’t definitely exclude that. In November 2021 an oil change was made. I filled in new splash water 6 weeks ago. There was something “next to it”. But the s I don’t see any oil loss. At least there is no stain on the floor. According to Messstaab, the stand is also fine. The cooling liquid is also on Max. The engine temperature indicator goes up to a maximum of 1 line below the middle of the highway. If I open the bonnet, then you smell that the smell comes out of the engine compartment. Only exactly I can’t locate it. The heater should not be. Because I had the heater “off” all the time today. H at because the clutch in the DCT in EV mode also a function? I only know that the clutch can stink in switchcars. But that was then more extreme and not comparable to the intensity. Have you already observed this with your PHEV ́s?

I noticed that a lot about the dosage is being done. After reading on the Meg page that it is intended for the interior, but also read several times that it is used outside, I am interested in dosages and areas of application Who has experience (positive as well as negative) please post.   • Car up to 15,000 from 160 hp searched

    Hello together I would like to start another “I-seek-a-car thread”. At the moment I drive the Kia Ceed SW 2.0 with 143 hp. On the whole I am quite satisfied up to: a) I would like to have a car with more pull-through, b) it is almost too small (I grew quite big :-)), c) the repairs start slowly. Here are my ideas: 15,000 euros between 160-200 ps does not have to be a station wagon, but should also not become a two-seater, convertible or small car. the younger the bess of course. no VW (bad experiences, was probably a Monday car) Audi doesn’t have to be either. Which brands should you avoid from how much KM or which ones can you buy with more than 100,000 km? (assuming that everyone was cared for the same way) Maybe you have 1-2 tips, that I can find something to look for since I had to deal with vw, seat and kia and would like to change.

  • which car to buy with heatable windshield ?

    Hello together ! I would like to buy a new car (possibly also annual car) and don’t know how to start looking for it – because there is now no car with which I say “this must be”. At the moment I drive an Audi A3 2002 and the new one should not be bigger (so Polo or max. golf size, where the new golf are already quite large …). Cost-wise I have thought of approx. 15,000 euros. I like square shapes – but am open to any suggestion. Unfortunately it is It’s hard to find out which of the “smaller” cars have a heatable windshield and I’m still in the dark. But the car should definitely have: – heatable windshield (very important !!!) – parking assistant at the rear (almost everyone has that, or offers that) – 5 doorr – climate – about 100 hp, petroler – good place in the breakdown statistics Which models are buzzing around in your head?   • GT – The spinners the Alfaristi

    I saw the GT on the last IAA and wanted to order it immediately, but since no warranty was available after the second year and more than 150K KM, I left my hands on it. Since the guarantee should be given now, nothing like to configure the Haendler and “my new car”. The seller tells me that there is actually no sliding roof for the GT…. Was also confirmed by Alfa Germany (“may come sometime”). Alfa ? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever experienced and I have to buy an Audi now. Who decided to drive with Lada should not be punished under 20000 KM. SG P.S. Please don’t come to me with aftermarket installation or anything.

    Who happens to have bought winter tyres in the larger or exactly the tire and “alternative” aluminiums? This is the only tire that my BMW dealer can give me. Must now still get me aluminiums. Furthermore, the rim should have 4 holes and a hole circle of 100mm, right? Anything else to consider? Didn’t want to spend more than 300€. So could be ugly exemplare too mfg patrick achso: Cooper S R56 needs them. That’s why aluminums.
