  • Mobile 1 – does that have to be?

how some apologists spread here, in order to be able to divide the latently threatening motor infarction only by using this or a comparable shell product called Helix (which is supposed to be even more expensive.) Now I have read here, however, that also significantly cheaper synthetic oils (in the 25 Euro class) are equally suitable. In their specifications they correspond to the “pharmaceutical juices” and have identical approvals for example from VW and DB. “wvn” even represents the position that even less “famous” oils do just as well and even call corresponding products, which I unfortunately do not find again. But as we know, only the one who has an unshakable faith comes to heaven. And how is it now with the oil?. Do you really have to believe that Mobil 1 is the only true and right for (m)a Saab to keep him from the hellish (oil) coal? Can someone show me the right way? For this a heart God’s reward.

  • Electrical problem – Cannot start engine

Hello, my SL 600 V12 is 14 years old. I only ride a little bit in the summer. That’s why it only ran 12,000 km and is visually and technically there like factory new, also the whole engine. The only problem is because of the long service life over winter (6 months) the two batteries, which I have to charge again and again and have also renewed twice. Recently I charged both again, then removed the chargers and during the voltage test with a Mu ltimeters had both batteries full charge. Problem I can not start the engine. If I turn the ignition key on start, there is only a quiet buzz in the engine compartment and the starter does not move. But on the engine incl. starter everything is in best order and I am sure that the starter only gets no power. With digital technology I unfortunately have problems. Does anyone have an idea? Friendly greetings Jink

  • Equipment questions about the SL R230

Good day SL driver, I’ve been watching various SL of the R230 series for a long time. Now I’ve noticed a few differences, to which I’d like to know what it’s all about. This vehicle here: http://ww3.autoscout24.de/classified/270024853?asrc=st的as&testvariant=list3tiers&tierlayer=st has no chromed tailpipes, four trims in the grill and a chassis that seems too high or too low at the back. In contrast to this SL:http://w3.autoscout24.de/classified/269990152?a Here the tailpipes are nicely chromed, a decorative strip in the grill is less, the chassis looks more evenly and on the rear cover is still such a small part. I don’t mean the spoiler, which is not on the first vehicle. My questions: -are the chromed tailpipes special equipment and has this only the 380kW machine? -Do the different grills have anything to do with the years of construction? -is the ABC chassis front and back – what is this for an additional module on the rear cover of the second SL? -in the centre console around the exterior mirror adjustment are up to five functions, which are not fully occupied with both vehicles. Which functions are these?

  • Is he an SUV?

Hello everybody, I wanted to start a discussion in which everyone gives their own opinion (without arguing). I think that our Arona is more than just a crossover. I think that it is a real SUV after all. Caution: I mean not a real SUV, but an SUV, as they are all today. City cars with indicated offroad genes. In my view, the Arona is a real SUV because it offers the following: -High entrance -High seating position -Vie l Ground clearance for its size -field paths and meadows can be travelled without the exhaust being torn off -SUV optics Why the topic? Because one or the other test report speaks of a slightly higher compact car (especially the Ibiza) and I don’t see it that way at all. For me, the Arona is a real compact SUV with the emphasis on SUV! Moreover, the VW Tiguan (a large SUV) is not cross-country, but it has all-wheel drive over stock and stone it also breaks the B Get your opinion out of here!

  • SL600 – Engine control light – Error code first 6 cylinders do not run “round”

Hello, with my SL the MKL has been shining for some time. In addition, the engine stops and does not run round. I had the error code read out at my workshop. As a result, the first 6 cylinders do not run round. He suspects that they are the spark plugs. Question: 1) Did one of you also have this and can possibly confirm that this could be the case. 2) Can one switch to the other 6 cylinders if necessary? 3) If one is replaced, that would be IMHO 24 candles? Is that something that you yourself mac How does the exchange work and would you have to register at the end something on the control unit or the like? Thank you and have a nice weekend.

  • Consumption 2.5 DTI?

Hello guys, I have to decide between the Volvo S60 D5 and the Omi 2.5 DTI. Can anyone tell me quickly what the 2.5 DTI really uses? I know this is indicated with 8.6 l, but does that correspond to reality? Or does the Omi consume more or possibly even less? I drive about 60% highway, 30% city, 10% country road. Thanks already.

  • Add Omega B MV6 hands-free system ?

How can I install a hands-free system in my Omega B MV6 Bj 98 ? The vehicle has a pre-equipment. Microphone is up in the lamp. In the footroom on the right I found the antenna connector. In the middle armrest is original an older Nokia phone, but without connection cable. I have not found a black box yet. I have already looked under the center console, behind the climate automatic. Maybe someone has a installation instruction for me. The phone should stay in the middle armrest I already got an original mobile phone holder for Nokia 6230i at Opel (130 Euro). But for the installation of the black box they want another 400 Euro. Maybe someone has a cheaper variant for me.

  • Opel Adam Moisture Problem and Sinters in Air Conditioning

Hello together, I have a problem with my Opel Adam (120 years edition, 87 hp), which is now just a good year old. Especially in the current time, where it is particularly cold, my windscreen is not only wet in the morning, but really wet. I recently needed a large pile of Zewa to be able to drive the car at all. Basically I always drive with activated air conditioning, that should normally also dehumidify the car. The first reason is that the disc is dirty every time from the inside, and because it can’t be good for the car in the long run. I recently brought the car to my Opel dealer, but it could not be found a mistake on the car. The car was probably also blasted off with a steam radiator and stood there overnight. Unfortunately, I can’t quite believe all this, since the problem is still there and with minus Temperatu The other problem with the car is that in the course of a ride there is a buzz in the air conditioning system. I have already read over here in other forums that in this problem the whole ventilation unit had to be replaced. The noise could not be determined by the dealer either, since this does not always occur as said, but usually develops during the journey. we didn’t want to help much, because the mechanic probably has “unpaid diagnostic hours”. Does anyone have an idea here, where the problems could come from, whether these relationships or has someone ever had a similar problem? Thank you and LG

  • RDKS learning problem

Hello Adam-Gemeinde, my wife, since 5/2016 proud Adam-driver, is confronted with an RDKS problem that somehow has to deal with the state of the art in the Stone Age: in a small (free) workshop she bought and installed winter tires, which were then also learned accordingly. The tyre pressure indicator of the winter tires also worked until the Adam stood in the garage. I had already transported the summer tires home with my car and lay the garage. The workshop now says that RDKS no longer works because it receives false signals from the stored summer tires (2 m from the car) or so similar… Can that really be? Sounds like the joke of the year. So you would have to create a special storage space for the second set of tires – maybe just build a tyre cottage in the garden… Can anyone confirm this phenomenon or just not confirm it?
