  • Tips for US Vans

Hello US-Car Fan-Gemeinde, am for the first time in this forum, otherwise stop me at the vans of a German manufacturer. My question would be something general about Vans!? As with many others such a car is a youth dream of me and I would like to know if I can now possibly realize it and should? How about the consumption? Cost insurance and tax? Do you have to have a lot of idea of the matter and how reliable are they? Favorably you get it!!! I look forward to your help and thank you already in advance. Gruss Alex.

  • Nokia E71 cannot be coupled in thickness

Hi, I’ve already read a topic about E71 in thickness here, but that doesn’t help me any more. I have the Phaeton Model 2008 with Bluetooth hands-free system and tried to pair my E71 with it. After entering the 16-digit code I get the message: Connection cannot be set up. Nokia is on the latest software level, the external SIM mode is switched on and I have entered the code also under 30 seconds. Now I noticed a little while driving, but only once that the phone indicated that the external SIM mode can’t be switched on, although it’s on in the menu!? Can I still do something to get it coupled?? Greetings Bastian

  • Toyota News

Hello, since the suspension of the news area on motor talk and the closure of a famous neighbor thread there is a certain news vacuum in the Toyotaforum. Therefore, I have been thinking for a few days about whether a thread for Toyota news would not make sense. I am thinking about news on the following topics: – product news – sales/turnover numbers (local and global) – vehicle tests – alternative drives (Hybrid, EV, FCEV) – new technologies (e.g. autonomous driving) – sporting engagements (e.g. WRC) – other projects (e.g. Toyota Woven City) So pretty much everything, with one restriction: direct reference to Toyota must be given. News about the competitors will surely find a more suitable place in other forums and I want to give certain discussions (Toyota vs. VW, FCEV vs. BEV etc.) targeted no more thread context. I will maintain this thread regularly and mainly news from the official portals of Toyota (https://global.toyota/en/en/en/en) but also of course, of course, of course, of course, of course, of the samepress.

  • Vehicle with Premium Sound + SUB searched

Hello people Is there someone here in the forum who owns a vehicle with the configuration Premium Sound + SUB? The models V70, XC70 and XC60 2012-2017 with Sensus are meant. (with the V60, S60 and S80 this configuration did not exist) I would like to retrofit a Volvo amplifier with SUB (have bought the parts again). My problem is that Volvo cannot play the necessary software on the amplifier because my vehicle is not supported. This is only possible with vehicles that have been delivered ex factory with Premium Sound. There it is easy to start the “AUD reload”. If someone wants to support me in such an action please report me. Of course, there is also a fee compensation. Thanks now!

  • Axle legs bent or incorrect installation of the upper crossbars.

Good morning, I recently acquired a 2003′ Phaeton V8. The predecessor apparently had replaced the front upper crossbars of both axles recently. As nothing guessing lay were carried out on both sides. In my possession then I noticed that I have an uneven tire wear at the front… Long talk short sense I began to make the troubleshooting. The installed left upper crossbars proved to be on the lifting platform / wheel plate on wear high 10…. Play without end and thus a free done work by my predecessor ?? So the left axle has to be renewed at all no question. Now to my main question…. On the right axle you can see with the bare eye that the rim is totally inwardly standing… Of course it has a certain geometry, but if I compared the tire distance to the axle of both axles, then the right distance is remarkably smaller than the left axle. After long researched I have come across a hint and would like to ask you now whether this can be the case with my vehicle or whether the axle height has really been fixed to the wheel?

  • which mobile phone as rSAP car phone?

Hello, I’m looking for a mobile phone for the GP3 that rSAP is capable of. Now I have found the compatibility list for the GP3 at VW [1] and I’d like to pick out a few Nokia models. The cheapest seems to be the E75 and 6600 slider. In the VW list there is no problem with these models. I would like to spend around 50 eur, max 100, for it. What are your experiences? The requirements: – there must be a BURY System9 holder – UMTS – simple contact sync with Outlook or Google (best myPhoneExplorer) Manufacturer otherwise I don’t care. • Shelf life W12

Good evening to you! Ask the experts and experts among you: How durable do you value the W12 in the 420 hp version from the GP0? How many kilometers can this unit create? How long does the transmission go with it? Are driving performances beyond 500,000 km realistic? I ask the question, since I am currently considering buying such a car after I have ruled out the V10 as an alternative because of the diesel problem with regard to environmental zones… Thank you and many greetings!

  • laminated glass V60 and the summer…..

Hello community! I experience my V60 this summer for the first time with laminated glass…. At outside temperatures of 26 degrees it has almost 40 degrees inside. Sure – the car is standing in the sun and the heat is clearly “stored”, but in my V50 with “normal and not noise-insulated” glass the temperature was by far not as intense as now in the V60! I also noticed that cleaning the windows inside with a glass cleaner does nothing. I cleaned my windows inside with a glass cleaner on the weekend and then noticed on Monday that the windows all have streaks. As a result I took a wet cloth and a clean cloth today and cleaned the windows -> Result: no streaks! This is also a clear difference to the V50 with normal glass (here I could only clean with glass cleaner and not with a wet cloth!). Do the two points have something to do with the laminated glass and the texture?

  • elongated control chains state of the art ?

The only thing I found out is that all the chains are long: bike chain, chain saw and of course control chains. I thought of a speciality of the TSI engines. But if you look closely, you will notice that the engines that were known for their durability are no longer as durable as they are now. Perhaps the control chain opposite the timing belt is a selling argument, because it combines a long durability and maintenance freedom but is actually a new source of revenue. When I think of the T5 2.5 TDi DPF things like: engine oil dilution, twisted drive shafts etc. were simply sat out, state of the art Since I intend to buy a 1.4 TSI, I fear to remain at cost after the warranty has expired, which the manufacturer consciously constructed with it.
