Hi community, I’m Thomas, I’m 35 years old and have been driving a 240D built in 1981 for 5 years. I decided to install another motoer in the car. It’s supposed to be the M110 with 185 hp… Actually thought of buying a butcher to be able to implement the whole thing as easily as possible, quasi plug and play, … in a butcher would be all the necessary parts (electronics, gears, gears, gears, cardan shaft, diff etc.) already. However, it is designed Now my question: Are the 280ger engines from the other series of these years identical and would a motor of the S-Class easily fit into the w123? So at least engine + gearbox? I would have to have a cardan shaft shortened then, and a Diff could certainly be found even where. Greetings Thomas

2008 – who has already looked at him?
Aloha! Well, who has already looked at the new Pug 2008? I looked at it on Saturday. I liked it amazingly. The proportions fit, from the outside it looks quite decent, I find. The sitting position fit me, 1,87, very well. Just like with my 207 SW I like the rather low window line very well. You do not sit so walled up and can comfortably put your arm on the door. I also like to get a little higher. On the back bench is m.E. a little bit more space than in 207 SW. Not huge, but ok. The trunk is m.E. comparable to that of its predecessor. Total banana is however the trunk cover, which is largely inflexible. That was better before. Colors are of course a matter of taste, to me personally they are all a bit too “covered”. A bit what fresh would certainly be quite nice. How are your opinions like this?

w140 suitable?
Hello S-class driver, would like to buy me a taxi soon. My question: it should become a W140 – Why? – It is cozy. – My dream car since my childhood ….usw. my friend thinks that he would swallow far too much – of course it should not become a V8 or even V12 I would be with an S320Lang (it must be a long version only then (I think ) that it is a real s-class…it can also be a 280er although a 2.8L 6 cylinder with an almost 2.5ton car would be undermotorized??!! ?? it should definitely not swallow too much… which year of construction is to be recommended? I find the Facelift version perfect so say about 98 or 97… I don’t want to spend more than 10,000euro, I know for this money I find as good as just garbage but maybe there is something nice…. Or should I rather grab the S 320 CDI? 2 reasons why I don’t want the w220 ( the w221 is far too expensive at the moment but maybe later 😀 ) – it’s too small to narrow s owas you can’t call it an S-class (of course if it’s a w220 I’ll be looking for up to 20,000euro ) – it’s not as a long version…:-( and a 320 petrol truck wouldn’t go either because I don’t just want to work for petrol….I know a w140 doesn’t swallow even 9L but it should vill a small engine that swallows little or a diesel that consumes little… I thank you in advance for the answers.

Water pump change off without timing belt?
Hi, so here’s the problem. I only noticed yesterday that my water pump makes noises (such a clacker) Since I have to go to Ingolstadt tomorrow and I only got my water pump today, is my question whether I can change the water pump without putting down the ZAhnbelt? First it does more work and secondly I don’t want to drive 350km without having set the ignition time correctly. I bought the complete water pump. That means inner life + housing. n 1.8 S 90PS PM and no climate. So a clear view from the side yesterday was in a workshop and they thought that you can take out the entire pump just sideways. They thought that you might still have to unscrew the alternator, but that who really prefers to put it down than the complete tooth grate. Is there anything else to consider? What do you think?

Audi 90 NG Idle
Hello! I’m more of a newcomer in relation to Audi 5-cylinders. Mine runs very badly in idle. I would say it “saws”. Speed varies between 600 and 2000 revolutions. Sometimes it dies completely. It doesn’t matter whether it’s warm or cold. When it starts it has no problems. If I let it roll, it usually has a higher speed (approx. 1500 u/min). I had already changed the “cigar”. It didn’t do anything. I also checked the hoses already (with brake). ncleaner) – also no reaction. Spark plugs are new, ignition distributor was also newly installed. I am grateful for every answer. But please explain exactly – am (yet) not so experienced with NG engines. Oh yes, the said engine, which it is about stands at the bottom in the signature.

F56 Costs
Hello! Sorry that I’m opening another topic… with a planned car purchase you will have some questions. I’m thinking of buying an F56 or an A1 – for the mini I’ll ask here. It would probably become one from the end of 2015 with 102 hp. Do you have a rough idea of what this model could cost during the small and large inspection at each time? Does it matter if the car just has the HU and TÜV (??) behind it? Should you do the small and the big inspection of this car? Every 1 or 2 years? Are there any problems that this model has more often, which you should pay attention to? Or should you plan financially? How often do the brake discs have to be changed on average? I plan to drive about 15,000 km, but it could also be less. A mixture of rural road, city and motorway, but mainly the 150 km route between Stuttgart and Würzburg. I know that these are very many different questions. I am also grateful to you if you only know something to one sub-point!! Greetings, Pauline

Idle again
Hello, so I’ve had the problem since the purchase of my Audi 80 Bj.88 MBK: RU about 8 months ago that the engine runs in idle mode and thus is quite wobbly. This is also transferred to the whole car. I’ve already renewed this: -motor and gear bearing -gun plugs -distributor cap -air filter -petrol filter I also saw if it runs on all 4 cylinders (what it does) or pulls out false air somewhere, but the known problems were in order e.g. Low pressure hose to the BKV and carburettor flange. I have an idle speed of approx. 900rpm and at the speed it wobbles especially. But if I now raise the speed to approx. 1100 short in idle mode and hold it significantly less, you even notice almost nothing. But what can it be that it runs so restless? Please give me a few tips!!

AAH: After thermostat change, still 70°C
Tach it is to cry. I changed my thermostat for 4 hours today, because my temperature did not go straighty high, on the Autbahn got really cool. Well full of hope made a test drive, I was happy, after 4km the thing had 85°C, remained like nailed. Then on the highway, stayed also at 85°C or a little more. Then pressed on it and at 170-180 the temperature then slowly went back. Then let roll out, he drove off there still 70°C. That’s really shit! Then! The old thermostat had no external damage (so as with meckisfaq in the instruction that there was a leg torn off). Can this be due to the fact that my heat exchanger is leaking from the heater? Can I hardly imagine what this should have to do with the water temperature. After the installation of the thermostate, i was able to get the heat out of the heater. ch opened both venting screws, then refilled until it ran out, turned on, motored for 10 minutes, until nothing bubbling more. The temperature went up to about 99°C, then the fan went on for a few seconds. Temp. remained at 97-99°C – is that normal that it is so high? Whatever what else can it be now?!

Protect Swarms
Hello you out there I have a question once, I used the Sufu but did not really find something that could have helped me further. As you know I have a Essi Bj 1996 with 90 Ps, and it is also known that the Essi likes to rust at the side skirts because I have the luck that my threshold still did not rust I wanted to know how I can get the threshold in this condition. Greet your North Berliner (grinz)
