Hello, I bought myself a Mondeo Kombi a month ago. Built 95, V6, 170 HP, automatic, full equipment except leather. Unfortunately, the gearbox said goodbye 2 days ago. Without notice. On the country road it suddenly slowed down and then there was nothing more. So towed to the Wekstatt. No Ford workshop, but cheap and nice. There they said the gearbox was over, so I need a new one. At Ebay I found one, but am not sure if it was the right thing to do. All data match except the year of construction.http://cgi.ebay.de/…7109QQihZ009QQcategoryZ61165QQrdZ1QcmdZViewItem Can anyone tell me if it’s the right one? So my Mondeo is Bj.95, the transmission 96. Nicole5

SL350 (W230) a dead box???
Hello, my dad drives a new SL350, now with 16tkm on’m tacho. Every now and then I can drive with the cart. So also 3weeks ago. It turned out that a buddy was standing at the traffic light next to me and put it on it. I looked at the whole relatively loosely. He has a Peugeot 206 S16 with 136hp. (should need according to Peugeot 8.9sec. from 0-100.) Well, at least he really left me standing, what called me on the plan, to investigate what is going on! So: Stop clock taken and measured:8,29sec and 8,23sec Well, that’s exact one second too much, according to information. What can that be? On the tires? In the summer my dad has 285 flaps on the rear. On his driving style? I’m the only one who has ever driven over 200km/h and used the kickdown. On the automatic? Series is the Seq. 6-speed transmission, my dad has decided on the 5-speed automatic? Or what else can be the reason. With the 206 we measured a 7,5-7.6 en! Thank you for “debugging” mfg GMTD2

As a member of the Mercedes dealer
On Friday I had a rather funny experience at a Mercedes branch in Stgt. Since I was in Stgt anyway, I wanted to look at some extras in the car dealership, which I ordered even though I still have one or the other question about it. In the conversation with the saleswoman I then slipped out that I am a company member and actually only have a few questions. The reaction to this was as if I had demanded a sexual performance from her. I was then quickly swarmed away. Obviously you will only be treated courteously if an order could be placed directly in the car dealership in question. Actually a weak picture, especially since it is still very short-sighted, because as a company member you need of course also a branch in which you can make inspections and buy accessories. In my case this will probably not be the establishment Stgt. Would I be interested whether some of you have done similar things, or whether the al again was one of the much quoted unfortunate exceptional situations. Greeting Jörg

it has been enough for me !!!
I drove the MB slk 200 Bj. 99 for 1 year. So my thing was not exactly too little comfort. The seats are too little upholstered leather seats) and the side parts also start to loosen themselves …. and this should be a good car now !!! Well … Since only positive thing I can say is: He looks really good… It’s just a car for other people but not for a self (NUR EIN HINGUCKER)… I sold last month and went to the Audi A6.. I can only drive the MB slk 200 Bj. 99 for 1 year. gen : Now I know what LUXUS is : AUDI A6

Electronic locking SLK350
Hi @all. I hope I’m right here and you don’t find it brazen that I’m just going to open up a new topic here. I’m only 17 years old but I’m very technical and interested. My opi has now a new SLK 350. Well noticed one of the first. To our delight. The Mercedes type naturally immediately alerted us to the electronic lockdown. And I would like to know how or better if you can bypass this part or even expand it. already helped with a Haiabus (I think that’s how you write the) to expand the electrical locking and now the part is running over 300kmh. I hope one of you can help me. Of course I only need the instruction for racing trails on a private site. Grins. What the otherwise. Mfg Vhmpartyzone

Engine spray protection for the B-Max (Ecoboost)
Hello, only in case one of you is interested. So dear friends of the B-Max. I was at the FFH today and for my B-Max EcoBoost (125hp) I had the moorroom spray protection installed below and the engine cover installed above, because these are not provided from the factory. I find the spray protection useful to keep the engine clean, and also serve both parts of the noise insulation. So who is interested in it, find here the necessary part numbers… because the FFH find below The spray protection below has the part number 1794581 spray protection (50,18€ + VAT) and the required mounting parts the numbers 1382031 screw with disc (1,17€ + VAT) and number 1019377 duebel nut (0,66€ + VAT). Unfortunately I can’t take better photos because I lack a stage. But this spray protection has a silver heat protection coating on the top. And also there is the engine protection cover above also suitable for the B-Max. Di Parts numbers are 1806222 damping element (35.87€ + VAT) and the two mounting bolts 1683973 special bolts (3.18€ + VAT) and 1780192 special bolts (2.71€ + VAT)
