  • Heating AND climate Fogs

    Hello together, after some research here in the forum I have already found some entries that seem to go in the right direction, but do not fit 100 percent to my problem: In my V70 TDi Bj. 98 I have the following problem: Both when using the climate as well as the heating comes out of the right and middle nozzles fog after some time, which also smells unpleasant (vmtl frost protection?). Furthermore, a slight cooling water loss is detected and the windscreen (just right) sweats. If only the ventilation does not occur a fog. Interestingly, I was able to operate the climate always fog (and odour-free) than it was extremely hot (30°C+). Quite rarely is the Lambda lamp on me briefly, which according to another forum can be due to the defective cooling circuit. The climate evaporator has already been exchanged in the last 2 years. Are now at the same time climate evaporators and heat exchangers defective? Are there actually also 2 climate evaporators ? Apparently there are two heat exchangers.     Hello dear community. Today it was time. My moose left me for the first (and hopefully last) time. Car ran to turn off completely normal. When I wanted to start again only a short muck and then die. I found that a small vacuum hose was removed under the injection strip. Again put on and nothing went more. I had to have myself picked up from my workshop(40 km). In the workshop then looked; relays tested i.e. gasoline pump; went. Access to the injection strip checked; fountain works. Schalluch re-plugged; car ran Master said petrol pump hung. Can this be? What would a good used one cost me?

I just want to get a clear short opinions/experiences with this special oil.And a question to which I would like a concrete answer: Can or would this oil harm my elk 850 AWD – 2.5 20V LPT 193 ps? I want to switch from 0W40 Mobil 1 to this. The reason is a little too high consumption (despite the new oil trap), 1l to 1800km.I think that the turbo also has a co-indeed, but will/can only be overtaken in 1.5 years. The car only has an English manual because it was originally from Canada. I wanted to buy oil now, but I don’t know what oil I should take The old owner probably used cheap no-name 5w/40 because the car also consumed a lot of oil by high kilometers. Now my questions: In the operating manual under Oil Quality stands Meeting API specification SG, SG/CD,SH or Energy converting (EC) II and below SAE 5W/40 from -22 to 40°C. Now I found oil here and here, but the API doesn’t agree. Can I buy the oil anyway? What else would you recommend? Thank you for your help.
