Hello, I have a question of understanding: My XC70 is model year 2011 and has inter alia distance radar and emergency braking function with pedestrian detection. This feature was introduced to my knowledge at the end of 2010 or the emergency braking function with the pedestrian detection. Where is the difference to “City Safety” now? A familiar of me has the V60 with City Safety, but its safety equipment is obviously identical to mine. My question is now: What is missing my XC70 to City Safety? Or did there exist for the XC70 at that time all city safety features, only not with this comprehensive designation? Since model year 2012 the XC70 has yes City Safety as standard, but I can also see no difference to my equipment here.

Sensus-Navi “Learning the route” – when?
Hello together, since I have my car, the Navi in Sensus is set so that the route is to be learned. There is a special place where I have to drive differently due to my experience, because in the further course of the Navi specification my path would come across a junction, where it is already forbidden for at least 4 years to turn left. When please the Navi finally “raffs” that my always driven route at the place is the right one?

How long does the warranty take for a repair in an official BMW workshop?
Hello together, In February 2024 the Valvetronic system was repaired in my N55. After a week I had to go to the workshop again due to misignition, and I got the car fixed in mid-April with everything. The invoice date is February. Today my Valvetronic system does not work again (the same symptoms and error codes as 2024, only 3000 km driven!). Should the workshop repair the Valvetronic system again without calculating anything, since it is still within the warranty period?

BMW Bank Leasing Upgrade Wheels & Tires
Hello, has someone here already had experience with the BMW Bank Leasing Upgrade wheels & tires (comfort or premium plus storage if necessary)? In case of comfort there is a set of BMW winter complete wheels including change and force, at Premium additionally tyre change in case of wear (summer 3 mm, winter 4 mm), not in case of damage, at a monthly price, on request also with storage. You have to let the comfort package only lower than 1.6 mm in profile with leasing return new tires. I find my offer also very interesting in price, so I almost ask myself if I have anything to look at. ?? Has anyone here already received an offer and considered and decided or even had practical experiences with it?

BMW 1er Turbocharger Damage
Hello, I need an expert assessment from you, it’s all about the following:We have a BMW 1er, built in 2018, mileage approx. 96000. The car is affected by several recall actions, including those of the AGR cooler. After the part of BMW was ordered and could not be delivered, it bursted on the highway and also damaged further hoses, the engine was ruined, etc. The costs for the repair were taken over by BMW. Now we have remained on the motorway again on the way to Austria, because we noticed a buzzing noise during the ride. This was not there right after the engine started again. We were towed away from the ADAC to BMW and there we were told that the turbocharger had to be replaced completely and the costs will amount to 4000€. The question whether it is related to the bursted AGR cooler and the further damage is related to it, was immediately negated and not further examined. After further research, however, our assumption that it is more and more connected. How can you see that?

After climate service: climate no longer cools; immediate measures
Hello, with my V70 the air conditioning service was done the last time three years ago. Otherwise it worked perfectly, only the compressor jumped a little often. So I am to a BOSCH service and said they should refill the refrigerant. They did that, it was only 200 g in it, so it was overdue. The air conditioning was “evacuated/filled and flushed” and that cost me 100 € Now, after 14 days, the climate does not cool any more. The compressor runs permanently, instead of turning on and off as usual. There are also quiet hissing noises . How can that be, that an air conditioning system BEFORE a service is ok and after filling no more? Can you claim that or is it hopeless? Was it wrong to go to Bosch? Should I now leave out the A/C so that the compressor does not run constantly (maybe even empty)? Can I ad hocly check or do what?

XC90 D5 Geartronic or Handswitch? Experiences and opinions wanted
Hello to each other, I will get a new car in the next 2-4 weeks and have come to the decision: It will be a Dickelch! The basic durability seems to be fundamentally very good, especially with the Facelift. It is supposed to be an XC90 D5 with 185 hp, equipment plays a subordinate role, did not find a car that would not meet my requirements. Now I would like to know directly from the first hand how the 6-stufige Geartronic affects the ride comfort, driving performance and above all the consumption. Annual driving performance is about 30-45,000KM/year, my work path is about 90 km over highway and federal road, the remaining KM come together on long distances, preferably at Tempi between 140 and 160 km/h with Tempomat.

V70 purchase advice?
Jo friends, so I’m 19 years young and I’m doing a joiner’s training. Since I don’t always feel like being on a ride to the factory, I need a car. I thought about the V70 from Volvo (my aunt is driving one as well). But now to my questions: 1) I wanted to insure the car via my mother so that I don’t have to go too deep into the bag. My question to you: what do you pay for insurance and taxes for a V70 D5 with the year 2000-2007? 2) What does it look like about the wear parts? Is Volvo in the repair expensive, or not? Maybe someone knows how to compare it with VW? 3) Where do I have to pay attention when I buy it? I thought to get a petrol truck because I will only drive about 10000 km per year. That means I’m driving about +/- 32 km a day. 4) Would you rather choose a switching transmission or automatic? Please with reason 5) Consumption: I looked at the Internet and I come to an average of 9l on 100km. Is this with you too? I believe that I’m going to have it?

Timing belt change at 1.6 l when necessary?
Hello together, I bought a touran with a normal 1.6 l. It is built in 2005 and has a mileage of 99,500 km. The car was not waiting in general. Except for the oil has not changed so far in the last years. Therefore I think about changing the timing belt. We want to drive the car if possible still good 5 years. A service booklet is not available. When should I really let the belt change? And how do I control it? The belt is disguised. If the test shows no cracks, can I then drive on calmly? Thank you. Greetings

Mood picture: what would you choose
At the moment I’m trying to form my opinion. Since I’m a little unwise, I’d be interested in your opinion. Conditions: – currently the second XC60 – I’m moving a trailer, 1800KG – I’d like to sit up again – Tempi above 210 are completely irrelevant – I have a certain budget, everything that the car is more expensive, I have to pay from my own pocket, after the end of the holding period (4 years) the additional payment goes into the possession of the company – the vehicles are very comparable equipped, less equipment would hurt me Currently I have an XC60 D4 AWD, MT, summum, xenium. I offer a survey with a few basic thoughts. I’ll share my current opinion later…
