  • Motor broken? Rattle and go out

    Moin, and I did a TGB Akros 50ccm 2stroke from 1996. The exhaust is throttled and the carburetor got a bigger nozzle. Many tried out and ended up at a 70s. Spark plug picture is perfect. It was also perfect over long rides. It is throttled at 60kmh. But now I drove again and after 10min he took no more gas and went off. Feels can also be imaginable because I started it mainly via E-starter, the kickstarter went easier than Otherwise. But I got him to run again and listen to a rattle which was not heard before. On the same day this happened several times and had to put him out 2 times spark plug, without a candle sometimes kick, put the candle back in and ran again. At the spark plug I could detect so little oil. Rest was dry. Can anyone tell me what’s going on? The scooter has no power loss.

  • Virtual Memorial

    For the current occasion (rrspeeedy, see the corresponding thread in the Bikertreff) I wanted to place a virtual memorial for deceased MTler in the room. I know, on foreign forums may not be linked, but in the Banditforum (everyone will find it that way) there is such a thing. A section “Our deceased bandits”, in which nobody, except the admin has a writing right, where (with picture, as far as available) is briefly told who he/she was and why he/she died. The solution dor I find it extremely successful and would be pleased if there were also such a “corner” of silent remembrance on MT.

  • Registration with vehicle type

    Hello dear MT workshop and happy holidays to have had! I notice in various brand/type forums that you always have to pull your vehicle type, the motorization etc out of the nose like a prayer mill. No one who wants to help is here master in the crystal ball reading. Don’t have to use motor and gear shortcuts. Why can’t you make it a mandatory field that you have to specify when registering e.g. in an estimated 50% of problem descriptions by Neure gistrierte says “I noticed the problem x or y with me. What can that be?” Then comes the next entry “What kind of model with what motorization?” The people who are busy and often present in the forums have probably saved this somewhere as a text can. Would that be a possibility? Would the forum work be enormously easier! Thanks for thinking about it!

  • In idle mode, the speed drops to 500

    Hi, have just made a test drive with nem 180Ps`ler.(no I don’t buy a second ;-)) This is possibly for a friend… So, at the traffic light the following happened: clutch–> 1.speed–> car stands–> it jerks–> rotational zal waved “fast” between 500 and approx.800, i.e. normal speed. I then gave a little gas. (from fear it goes out!) traffic light will start green–> normal, everything ok–> at the next traffic light same “problem?” again. Then another 30 min. stop and go ABER the Proble m no longer performed. What I know so far: LMM exchanged, ignition coils could it be BUT why then ONLY in the stand? Year 2001 , 50000km, checkbook. Will of course have the memory read out. But maybe all the “professionals” have an idea here? (I mean that seriously) many thanks for your help.

  • HELP: How do I assess whether repair costs are fair??? Beginner – please be kind 😉

    Dear community, I have had my first car for a few months. It came as it had to come, and the first car now has its first damage. So I drove to a workshop, it was determined what it was and calculated a cost estimate. I have now (as said 1. car) no idea how to assess the cost estimate. Can someone help me there? Concretely: I drive a Fiat500c 1.2v Built. 2011. It would have to be the wheelhouse shell at the front left and both front shock absorbers a The brake lamp at the rear right also has a mistake. The estimate is about 680€. If someone specifically tells me whether it is fair or how I can judge whether it is, I would be very pleased. Many greetings and many thanks in advance!

    I’m new on this platform and don’t know how to ask a question in general, regardless of a car brand, so I’m just putting it here. I’m currently looking for a car with a turbocharger (fuel) that is in the price range of 5-8 k. Should be a coupe or a convertible. Wishing would be Bmws, benz or audios, or even japaner but no golf.

    Hi people so I just wanted to ask if you all can write a few sentences about the race-cart because I want to inform myself a little about others and drivers. I myself drive a Mach1Kart with a 2-stroke 125cc (popper). I drive now the 2 year race-cart and before I drove 2 years slalomkart. My home track is in Gerolzhofen.The track is 701 meters long and 6-8 meters wide.Actually a nice track unfortunately only Samsatgs open from 9 to 16:30 clock and only vo April to October.     Hello, after my insurance has determined because of a damage case that I drive more kilometers a year than they want to assume now more money from me. Since this insurance (Zurich) is already one of the most expensive (I was only there because my insurance person with which I have other policies is really good) I would like to switch to a cheaper insurance … Question: – Can I now exceptionally cancel due to the adjustment of the insurance contribution? – Which Car insurances do not take into account any mileage – – Which reasonably favorable insurance is recommended?   • Admission question: from 25kmh to 45kmh what to do

    Hi Forum I have a Speedfight 2 and currently drive throttled 25kmh have 25s and 45s papers and have next week my driving license. would like to make it to 45. the insurance is clear that I have to change but what do I do with the scooter? to the tuv you actually go to get the 45s papers. but now I have them already. can I just throttle the 45kmh and take the papers and go away? please answer fast 🙂 mfg max

  • Blue smoke after too much engine oil

    Hello I just got Peugeot Satelis 125 scooter there are from a work colleague. There was too much engine oil in there (but should 1.2l were good 2-2,5l). I dropped that too many. The stand now is that it starts and so far runs with the necessary force but also when it gets warm it is blue smokes. Air filter is a closed (not to open). But does there seem to be no oil in there!?!?! Where could the oil be sucked on? Don’t know me with the automatic scooters. If someone had a tip for me, I’d be grateful.
