Hello guys, have written in various other threads of my flap front right… Now the car was in the workshop, with the order to remove this flap or to find the reason for it. The workshop had now found the reason for the flap and changed the trouser tube of the exhaust system… Only the flap is still stupidly still there and is getting worse… Can I do something legally?!? Especially because the somewhat plump statement “…the trouser tube was broken anyway..” came from the Audiman this morning in the workshop and this has behaved quite unculantly… I also don’t go to the doctor when I have a headache and let me prescribe something for my stomach, because the doctor has “fixed” this by the way and I don’t notice anything about it… Did anyone ever have such experiences?!? MfG Bastian

Porsche: 130 grams of CO2 cannot be achieved
Hamburg (ots) – In an interview with ZEIT, Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chief Development Officer of Stuttgart’s sports car manufacturer, said that the limit of 130 grams of CO2 per kilometre for the European automobile fleet should not be applied to individual manufacturers such as Porsche. “We alone cannot achieve this value.” Neither would other premium manufacturers, such as Mercedes, BMW or Audi, be able to do so. Presentation and question: V70 purchase planned
The second thing I want to say is that I’m in the old Audi store, and I have a `92 Audi 100 2.6 V6 limousine with H-mark as a daily and a `93 Audi Cabrio 2.8 V6. Until last summer there was also a Pontiac Trans Am 3.1 V6 in the car park. Now on my occasion. I’m in search of a large station wagon. As a Swedish fan and holidaymaker it should become a V70 III, because this vehicle is optically in this class most accommodating me. I myself am an automobile salesman, working daily with cars (commercially), I have already partially restored the Audi itself and thus basically know about the matter and can answer to old Audis and also Amis quasi (almost)? Only with Volvo I don’t know and so you come into the game 🙂 I’ve read a lot and know what I want. The basics: 70 2.5T, 231 PS, is more than anything else than automatic.

Brakes change rear. Volvo V60 2.0T 2011
Hello to everyone, since I have never had a car with electric parking brake before, it was unclear to me how to proceed there. After which I searched for a long time and asked some people. I came to the conclusion that this is quite easy even without a diagnostic device. Unlock the parking brake and disassemble the wheel. Now the brake caliper can be unscrewed with the engine. After this is solved you can also reach the screws of the motor. Just unscrew them and carefully pull them off. Now you can turn the gear back with a corresponding torx and push the piston back with the tool (or a plier). Now the work can be done accordingly. If the engine is screwed again, don’t forget to treat the screws with bolt protection (I took Loctite 243). The same applies to the screws from the saddle, in the case of the reference set there are usually new screws with fuses. (but not for the motor screws). So and now much fun when screwing.

First car – Defender ?!
Hello, I’m going to be 18 years old and I’ve been talking to my father about my first car. My father has always wanted to have a defender, and for me he’s actually one of my dream cars. For us, only the 90’s is possible, because the 110’s simply too big. I’ve already got quite a lot of information about defender, but I have a few questions and I think there are some things that can help me. Well then I’ll start now. I like the “classic” defender quite well, but I think it’s even better if it looks more modern. My ideal would be a black one, with darkened disks and everything so that it looks so “bad” to me. See picture! I know that it’s so expensive and as first car for me is not questionable. I’ve thought about buying a used car. (I’ve already found a good one that cost about 15,000 euros) and I’ll be able to compare it to myself even so much that it’s a good one.

When it comes to driving comfort, there are still a lot of things in the Argen as well as with the service partner of the brand Land Rover
Since the 28.07.15 I drive an Evoque Diesel with 150 hp and Automatic. In the meantime the SUV 7500 KM ran and used 7.4 L diesel with mixed driving mode. At the handover one missed the tire truck from 3.5 atü to normal 2.5, the vehicle was not clean. On the rims still residue of sticker remains which could only be removed very hard. After the first kilometers on the highway ( straight and wind still ) the car moved to the left. When driving straight ahead the steering wheel was so slightly inclined to the right. The workshop we meant the steering wheel a little bit and then the whole thing worked out. Far missing the error was not fixed. After a further 3 weeks I got an appointment in which the track should be adjusted but now I have already driven over 5000 KM with a wrong adjusted track. The error in the track was admitted and fixed. Customer service looks a bit different in my eyes after all! So far so good. The vehicle is awarded with the very uncomfortable suspension but even my DBK 200 Bauj is available with an excellent off-road option.

Disco Sport: Do Dachreling + Box without Side Steps make sense?
Hi, I’m close to my order and I’m thinking about ordering the Side Steps. The background is that we need more storage space for the holiday than the trunk provides. So I’m going to order the roof rail and a roof box. Since the car is now quite high and there are railings, carrier and lower shell of the box, the loading height is probably at 1.90m. For me (1.80m) that would be somehow chargeable and unloadable, but nice is something else… :-/ That’s why I thought about the Side Steps. I’m just disturbed that the ground clearance is greatly reduced. On the other hand, little children are certainly looking forward to the steps when boarding? Does any of you happen to have a DS with roof rail and/or side steps and can post his experience? Greetings, Hauser

Parkdistancecontrol partly only works after the Sensus starts up
After the start of the engine, the Sensus always takes some time to drive up – which is indicated by the Iron Mark. However, if there is an obstacle in the way, the PDC turns on immediately – also when the return gear is inserted, the return camera. – at least mostly! And here we are at the problem: sometimes it happens that PDC and RFC just work after the Iron Mark is gone! – what I had to find out yesterday fatally again: engine start and return gear in – behind me in the parking lot a deep wooden stake, which can of course not be recognized in the rear view mirror – as well. – But PDC would have recognized it! Mindfully HÄTTE – then exactly when it needs it does not work – DOTZ and the protective plate docked at the wood fplock! Excellent – that can’t be true – of course – a few cm of the protective plate then scratched up again a little bit or. the upper layer already – so much on the topic of protection plate – what it has protected me now? even before the software error can not work – but the problem of the maximum speed!

Level control vs. Four C chassis
Just put together a new XC70, which is to come in the autumn (this time with inscription equipment) and stand before the question, whether I order the already known and beloved level control with me or the Four-C chassis (which I have not yet experienced in action). I do not move a particularly heavy trailer and huge loads very rarely. Nevertheless, I always found the level control very pleasant when the hut was full. Does the Four-C chassis also contribute to the level control? Thank you for your advice.

Bluetooth – Car Phone Book
Maybe you could help me: I would like to buy the Motorola Pro+, because I have this as a business phone and am quite satisfied with it. Before I buy it now privately, however, I have tested the functions of the V60 Bluetooth system. I have encountered following problems: The phone book syncs though, but then in the V60 it is impossible to recognize which entry the mobile phone number, landline number, etc. is – so example: I have stored the name Max Müller with mobile phone, landline and business – then comes three times Max Müller and I have to try all three (with the language choice as well) Now there is of course the possibility not to sync the phone book and to copy the contacts back into the car phone book – but of course with new contacts then every time it has to be added manually. Problem is: if I have the option “to transfer phone book” not checked, then every time I select “phone book” and then the phone book – which of course needs to be added manually to the new contacts. But if I do not have the option “to transfer the phone book” then there is a possibility to call.
