  • Roll-off noise RunFlat

Hello MINI municipality, have bought my wife two weeks ago a Cooper (R56, 20,000km, 2008). Nice little sneaker ) but the rolling noise of the tires already at 40-50km/h is a disaster. Tip that this is due to the RunFlat tires, since the wheel bearings are definitely all healthy. Has someone changed and achieved better rolling noise through normal tires?? … by the Grip not to mention. For helpful comentare thank you Alex

  • Buying advice …

Good day together, since I have to get a used mini (younger model from 2001) for someone in the relatives / must be up to 10 TEUR, I am on your help or need a few tips about the 90, 116 hp and the diesel versions. Best said which years of construction, series or engines etc. should you agree? I am very grateful for every tip and of course also an incentive is desired, no matter what happens to you so spontaneously. How does it look like with the: 1. d both petrol and diesel? 2. Rust problems? 3. gearbox or engine problems? 4. Is the diesel and 90hp version overloaded with the soft?

  • Recommendation for purchase Nubira?

Hi, everybody! I’m going to take a quick detour from the US Car Forum here. My wife should have a station wagon. I noticed the Chevrolet Nubira. It would be a Nubira 1.6 petrolter with 109 hp, 30,000 km, built in 2007 by € 8,000 from the friendly with 1 year warranty/guarantee. Are there any abnormalities with this vehicle? Timing belt interval? Rost? Any major problems? Have read frequently here in the forum of engine management problems (Lambdasonde and I would be happy if you could give me some tips, shortcomings and also satisfaction tips. I conclude the very favorable price that the average European can’t do anything with “Chevrolet”, and that this brand (although Daewoo is under it) is not for the general people. It is well known that every “American” car needs at least 30 liters And this “unknowledge advantage” I would like to Thanks in advance!

  • HYundai Atos Vs. Chevrolet Matiz… which is better???

Hello together…. My girlfriend wants to buy a new car and has “looked out” in the two above mentioned cars. Here in the forum we have already read some good and bad postings about both cars. Unfortunately she can’t really decide which one is better than that. Maybe some of you can share your experiences with both cars. Thank you for your answers. Many greetings from the north……

  • Aveo 1.2 (84PS): How much does valve play check?

Since the 1.2 does not have any hydros, the valve play has to be checked every 15000km. What costs do I get? Hopefully not such! Detail question: If a valve play setting is due, does this work with the 1.2er with adjustment plate or do the complete cup plunger have to be replaced? Do the camshafts have to go out or does this happen with a high-turned cam with a valve lower holder (special tool)? thank you & Greet

  • From December more trunk for LS and GS

http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/…/hxcms_article_516069_13987.hbs Lexus: More trunk for LS and GS Due to the drive system, the hybrid versions of the Lexus GS and Lexus LS saloons had a smaller trunk than their conventionally driven sister models. Lexus has now picked up here. The nickel-metal hydride battery modules (NiMH) installed in the rear of these Lexus models claimed part of the trunk. The GS 450h now has a boot volume of 330 litres. However, the floor compartment is no longer required for models with optional, active chassis stabilizers and the boot volume is limited to 310 litres. In the LS series, the GS 450h has a capacity of 330 litres. The GS 450h has a capacity of 310 litres. For the 2009 model year, Lexus ruffled the boot volume for all drive variants. The spare wheel, which has been carried in a compartment under the boot, is replaced by a tyre repair kit. The Lexus LS 460 with conventional drive now offers 565 liters of volume in the basic equipment. The LS 460 with electrically adjustable, ventilated comfort seats and a separate automatic air conditioning system in the rear now comes to 480 liters of storage space. • Daimler XJ40 various

Hello, since yesterday I have been the owner of the said vehicle with 4 liters R6 BJ 1992. Unfortunately I have no manual. The following questions: – are the headrests adjustable? I have found electric seats but not a switch for the head, also the adjusting wheel on the seat side is only for the back. The passenger support looks out a little more than with the driver. Have it tried with a lot of power, or do I need more? – It is the standard radio installed. The red standby LED flashes, u And when the light is switched on, the buttons around the controller also light up, so power is there. However, it cannot be switched on. Is this connected to the rotary knob? Radio broken? – Where are the fuses? I found a “Fuse Circuit” already in the center console. – Which oil do you drive at 4.0?

  • XK / XKR Coupe and Cabrio die out

Hello dear XK municipality, I have just read a report from t-online saying that Jaguar will only produce the XK series until summer 2014. The reason is called the production site to want to use for other models. Too bad now Jaguar is also becoming a mass product like Porsche now. Now I will definitely not give it to XK in 2012. The increase in value is then already predictable. Such individual cars become more and more scarce. Maybe even a Jaguar employee can add something. Thanks cabrio123
