Hello guys, I think, with my S 202 (Mercedes C 180 T, year 2000) something should be done on the thresholdrs (I trivialize again biting ;-)) ). Ideally change completely. Of course with such an old car come first always the “shit-but-way-the-old-kiss-answers”. But I don’t want to do that. I want to drive the car for a few more years (have put in a lot lately) and would now also take a few euros in the hand to get the ground some more tüv-f My idea: is it possible to simply cut out the sleepers and the adjacent ground, and simply weld in from a well-preserved “donor”? If so, where do you get a well-preserved donor and who would be able to do such a thing in the southern upper Allgäu (around about 200 km)? So I am looking for someone who has a desire and time for this. Please only serious answers. OmG I have heard many times enough. I only post pictures when someone has “bitten”. ;-)) VG, Sven

please for professional assessment…
I had welding work carried out on a screwdriver and I am not so much in the material. A wheel run should be partly replaced with a Mercedes S210. At the back corner a part of the new wheel run was simply put on the sheet and welded with points. Before that the sheet was cut out as far as the only healthy sheet was available then about 1cm blankly ground and the new sheet was placed on it and welded with points. A slight bump was caused by the old sheet metal. See picture. I know it so that at least the new sheet metal is either bent off and pushed underneath or the new sheet metal is put on push. The screwdriver said that would be so fine the paintr would pull over there spatula and then that would be ok. What do you think? Thanks for the answers! Unfortunately, I tried to attach pictures in vain, can’t be uploaded, doesn’t know why…

Golf 5 from 2008-Rost Side skirt-How high will the repair be?
Hello, owns a Golf 5 from EZ 1/2008. Up to now the rust kept in limits, subject is well known. I changed wheels on Saturday, pressed very carefully into the threshold because I thought there was dirt and then the hole from the threshold was already there, before you saw nothing from outside. Technically, the car is impeccable, 1.4 80 hp gasoline, TÜV up to 1/2025 with 170,000 km. I can not repair myself, can please tell me what I calculi for such a repair. As much as I read about the topic of rust golf 5, wheel boxes, sleepers etc., I would know before I decide to repair it, it makes sense to remove the wheelbase and convince yourself what the rest looks like? Maybe you have some tips on what I should pay attention to. Thank you JD

Sandero dCI 90 Laurèate – Reviews
Hello all together! intend to buy me a sandero 90 dci laurèate (sound and climate) and would like to know who has experience with this model. I don’t want to take a stepway, although the chic looks, because the car is only available without side airbags. wants to use the car as a long-haul vehicle (about 35,000 km per year), whereby it should bring more often times 600km at the piece. my mother has got the gasoline in the top equipment and I have to say, top car for little money BUT with relatively high fuel consumption, which moves at 7.5 to 8.3 liters on 100km. for me more a car with which one is not travelling more than 15,000km in the year. my questions: does the car have a robust motor? what does the sandero dci 90 consume on the highway or in the mix in practice? since you are satisfied with the driving services on the highway (like to drive with average 140-150km/h)? which insurance contributions (incl. full cascade) do you pay? t better to buy the beziner (1.6l) with gas system? I don’t expect an audio, bmw or mercedes just a practical inexpensive car, where you don’t suffocate at the workshop and maintenance costs. look forward to many reports! many greetings!

Connect speakers to 4 channel power amplifier
Good evening, I’ve been breaking my head for days as I connect my speaker system. I’ve got a new Eton Mini 150.4. I replaced the woofers in the doors with Bose woofers from an A3 8P and back in the custom hat rack two Pioneer TS-A2503i 3-way speakers with 80Watt RMS at 4 Ohm impedance. I’d like to put all the doors and the hat racks speakers on the Eton. But I don’t know exactly in which combination, since I only have 4 channels. I also have sub in it, but it runs via monoblock with double-swing coil, so the one from the tailor is only about the 4 channel. It would be very helpful if someone could help me with this. Thank you in advance already.

Footspace subwoofers without much effort?
Hello friends I just got a 2002 SLK R170, he has an Alpine radio in it, whose quality I can’t estimate, and also when Googlen did not find much. Would you replace or keep the part? Would the sound get better, with a better radio? I have another radio, which I could use there too. Of Kenwood. But whether this is an improvement, no idea. At least the operation is much better. After all, a rotary switch for the loudst ke, plus which remembers the radio stations, the Alpine not The speakers of my car actually make a good sound, the bass is also good, but will be completely tinkering when it gets louder. The seller has connected the car radio with a cable, on which one can probably connect a footspace subwoofer. Photo attached. Does this just work so plug&play? What do I have to pay attention to when searching for a subwoofer? Would not like to invest time, energy & costs. If then minimal, if for which the effect is high

Motor protects itself?
Hi, I checked my operating instructions and found this point. Drive Astra K with automatic. Grad in winter it is known that the things switch ultra high in order to bring the cat to temp.. But this is rather beneficial for wear or not? With the hand switch nobody gets the idea to beat the engine over 3000U. But why is it that way with the automatic? What is meant by “limited” speed with Opel but also with other manufacturers? If my engine is cold and I kick it then the speed goes up as well. Somehow I don’t understand this point. The engine should be protected, but ONLY, if you drive a switch or what? degree of turbo throws away with such a treatment.

Driving diesel and turbo gasoline
Hi, I have a question about today’s modern cars. It used to be that diesel was pulling better than gasoline. But what was that about? Is the diesel engine in itself built in such a way that it builds up more torque compared to the petrol engine, or does it have something to do with the turbocharger? New vehicles are almost all equipped with a turbo. It is said that today’s petrol engines drive exactly like diesel vehicles. Is that really true? I’ve never driven a diesel before. And that’s why I want to know exactly. I have a small example to say that this is not the case. Golf 7 GTI vs. GTD. The GTD pulls off the GTI when starting and for a short time. But why is that? The GTI (we take the normal one) has 220 hp and 350 Nm from 1500 rpm. The GTD with its 184 hp delivers 380 Nm from 1750 rpm. So are these 30 Nm decisive for the faster acceleration, or is it also on the engine itself? Both have a 2 Nm. l engine. Once assumed GTI and GTD would race against each other without a turbo. Who would do the race there? In the past it was so that diesel without a turbo were the total crutches. Would that be comparable to gasoline suction engines? So: Do today’s turbo gasoline FAST drive like diesel, or is that not comparable despite the extra power of the turbo?

Is more power possible???
Hello everyone, in advance I drive a Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 T-Jet built in 2009 with 95 hp. I would like to ask if it is possible and if so, if it makes sense to get more power out of this car??? I would like to have more torque and more power as this is already quite little for my purposes. For all who ask why did I get this car? My life has changed completely professionally and then when buying the car it was more or who And now I drive about 30,000 km a year and almost only motorway! And I don’t want to sell it because I find the car already beautiful and the finazielle would be just too much. I don’t really know about cars but I’ve already looked a little bit before but for example Chip Tuning should be totally useless with this engine. And how does it look with a turbo? from,is that possible? As I said I am unfortunately only loan and have no idea about it,but so 150 hp would be not bad if that would go. So there are possibilities as I get more power and if so with what can you achieve it and what would it cost? Or should I hit the idea with more power out of my head? PS.: Important to mention would be still that I have a gas system in the car!!! Thank you already in advance for your efforts. Mfg

Air conditioning without function
Hi, since January 11 I am on the road with the Fiat Croma. Now during the Denmark holiday we have unfortunately found that the air conditioning is actually without function. So we turn on you and not even at level 4 comes cold air in the car. Remote diagnosis is difficult, I understand. I still want to know if someone already has experience with it and possibly the air conditioning only has to be refilled cost-effectively – or what can it cost me (in about) if there is more to be done? Car is five years old and now 110,000km down…. Look forward to answering. Best regards Flo
