  • Repainting bonnet and driver door VW Polo

    Hello our polo got a new driver’s door and new bonnet after zinc bubble rust attack (of course with 30% own part during processing). These were logically also repainted. On Friday evening I got the car back after 1 week of workshop stay. Since it was already dark I could only inspect it yesterday in the Hellen. Somehow I can not believe what I saw. I had already discovered a few Swirls the previous evening after setting in the carport, but thought nic What should I do now, in your opinion? That’s not how new painted parts can look like!? I have to say, the VW-Lack L041 is very care-taking but the car has never looked like this before!

  • Question on the change of the ZKD

    Hi, so after some have said here that my ZKD is defective, I would like to change tomorrow. We got two instructions from the internet, the parts are already here. However, I still have ambiguities regarding the instructions: 4. Flamm tube on the exhaust manifold, or alternatively solve exhaust manifold on the cylinder headWhat is the flame tube and where can I find the exhaust manifold? Never heard or seen before 5. Remove cables and hoses, as well as gas train on Mono-Jetronic, injection same questions, where is that, what is a mono-jetronic, where can I find it? 6. Remove spark plugs and cablesAnd again the same question, where is it about? 13. Airing the cooling system – completely turning on the heating valveWhere can I find it? – some versions have on the cooler and/or on the discharge of the heating hoses into the interior ventilator valves – these carefully open until only water comes inWhere can I find them at my Punto? – until the fan starts the How do I do that? And are there any other things you have to consider? I wanted to change the water pump by the way, but it says in the instructions “When installing the water pump you have to obtain a special sealing compound available from Fiat (loctite 270).” This loctite costs over 200 euros!!! Can’t you take something else for it??? Thank you for the answers in advance 🙂

  • Delivery time -> Dacia Sandero Ambiance 1.2 16V 75

    Hello! On 13th October 2011 I ordered the “Dacia Sandero Ambiance 1.2 16V 75”. Expected delivery date: January 2012. According to the car dealership it can also last until the end of January. No problem, as I find it. With new cars you like to wait as customer. “Good Ding wants to have a while”. 🙂

  • Dream car

    If costs for purchase and maintenance didn’t matter, then what would you drive, provided you should only choose a single car? (a mid-engine Ferrari is already leaving for family fathers/mothers) With me might be a BMW 535 i X-drive Touring. Greetings, Philipp

  • Criticism of Dacia taken over by VW?

    Hello Certainly it was a year or more ago when I was criticizing Dacia. In concrete terms, that was: No adjustment of the headrest inclination, rear flap too little disguised and windscreen wiper arm meets bonnet when changing wiper blade. However, I did not criticise the fact that the Dacia has no dampers supported bonnet opening. That was a year ago or so. The mechanics of the wiper arm had been changed for a long time. Well. Now I was at a VW dealer and It was in the showroom a tdi in medium equipment line for 18-thousand and few hundred euros. Well, with the five polo the headrests are no longer adjustable in inclination, there is no damper to the hood opening, the windscreen wipers meet with the leaf change to the hood edge and the rear flap inside presents itself in sheet metal, since only sparsely disguised. All this was not possible with the Polo 4 ( type 9N, construction time until 2008 )!! 5 hp tdi type 9N disc brakes in the rear, so the rear axle of the current 75 hp tdi brakes on drum brakes. One should think that a new model is better or more mature in every respect. Should one think… in WOB one obviously thinks differently. Well – and that is called “premium manufacturer”. I write this for two reasons here in the Dacia forum, first because I am more at home here than in the Polo forum and second because of fair reparation of my once practiced criticism of the Dacia here. ss you really wonder if not a Sandy dCi 75 hp for 5,000 euros less… just – that’s what I mean.

  • Problems with the TÜV

    I just read the Tüv report at t-online. The logan was in the back. I don’t understand, because I didn’t care about it. Of course, the specification was missing why it didn’t go off the first time. I have some MCV drivers in the circle of acquaintances who have had the same experience, i.e. nothing about it. So now the request to all trolls: shut up and fools should stay out.The question: Who had problems with the TÜV and why. IMPORTANT: Not on trolls, idiots, would-be erns and other DUMM – DUMM MUCKE riders react. Just ignore the idiot. Then he stops (grins) by himself mfg your economical Oh yes, my gif – logo, I had some requests. It is the 2-dimensional implementation of a 4-dimensional cube

  • Samurai “Now I’m helping myself”

    Hello together, look for the book “Now I help myself” or “So wirdsmacht” for a Suzuki Samurai Diesel BJ 1999 I can’t find the book anywhere. Is there anything like that? I’m not an absolute workshop pro, so the book would probably be quite helpful… I already have the factory saddle manual, but for such simple things as disguises etc. the book is too special for me….am just blond. Mail would be great. LG Pestill

  • Treat rust on the underbody

    Hello together, I finally bought an E91 Bj 2010. Was yesterday under the car and could find a few rust approaches, preferably at the rear or tub of the trunk. The look that the rust is there I find not bad, because it is also an already 11 year old car, however I want to drive with it and want to treat the rust so that the sheet does not go through in the worst case. Now my question how do I treat the places best? – With rust turnaround r brushing and is good? – Make rust away before with the risk also to remove coating around and then with rust converter? – Just underbody protection on it? which is the better bitumen-based or wax? Thanks for every advice. Greetings

  • Side skirts Beule Seat Leon Cupra

    Hello together, I’m looking for a Seat Leon Cupra year 2019 and I actually found it. The model is price-wise and has full equipment. However, there is a problem (see for picture) And you can see that the side skirt is properly pressed in. I guess there is someone who came up with the car lift against it. How would you assess the damage? Completely advise from the purchase? Repair is certainly not cheap because the part is probably flexed out. I guess. From the price they will not really go down because it is really cheap for full equipment. Would like to hear your opinion here Many greetings Oli

  • Rust at the threshold and fender edge

    Hello, today I found rust on the threshold and would like advice on how to work it up. I knocked off, no hole seems to be there. (Mercedes 20 years old) Actually I removed the fender to rust the entire edge. The sheet edge will not work permanently, but who has had good experience with it. Had 2 times with sanding, rust converter and paint always so 2 years success. Thank you!
