Hello, I have something to install in the subwoofer box at the back right of the case room, the question is of course what is possible. both in the loud speaker boxes in the case room as well as in the subwoofer box there are no speakers installed….in the loud speaker boxes in the case room, however, there are cables laid. Have there successfully installed speakers. But what about the subwoofer box…How do I get the cables installed there at all? For what is this supposed to be. Have read there two sockets for 13cm speakers??? subwoofer installation is not possible??? should I take a subwoofer, first install an end stage, I still need a connection from the battery..is the one already installed…. Do I need an active subwoofer, i.e. subwoofer with built-in end stage, also an extra connection from the battery?

Blowers and climate strikes …
… in advance, I have already searched, found a lot and done a lot of things. First of all, I put it together: First failure blower, I read a lot about the resistance from the blower and changed it to another “used” (belonging to the fact that my fan was standing here for about 14 days – without a connected battery – because the turning roller was stuck and I waited for the right part. After the battery was turned on again (and during the same time the blower resistance was changed), my fan purred again as usual. After a few days unfortunately again same suffering, fan dead on all stages, climate and air switch after start again friendly at the blinking. I then drove a strong cross channel out of carelessness quite violently over, though certainly hurt my car, but fans ran again – for 2 days, then old suffering :-(Short time later then again I will be looking again for a few hours – oh joy, blower and again away. After further reading, I have checked “again again” and then again Frust again without the whole C.

Stronger alternator for the Phaeton?
Hello, after I have forced my comfort battery into my knees again this week, I am looking for a better permanent solution in the form of a stronger alternator. Why? Because I like to listen to music and my extended system unfortunately also has extended power requirements. If I drive a longer distance with elevated volume, then I have to pamper my comfort battery again after that. If I do not do this, then all possible ECUs – as at present again – collapse. After I have had good experience with the construction of a stronger alternator at my golf times (at that time from 90A to 120A), I am now looking for a stronger alternator for my Phaeton. There is a 190A LM in there from the factory. As far as I have seen this, there are also stronger variants with 220A and 230A at Touareg. Realistic price for 19″ Helios with new tires?
Hy, tomorrow it’s time. My V8 is back from Dresden and is finally ready for my pick-up in Ettlingen. First official position will be to throw down the 19″er and enjoy the maximum driving comfort with 17″ impression as long as possible. Let’s see how long I can endure the look. Since I will change to 20″er when I can’t see it anymore (have never driven anything smaller on my S-Class so far), I want to sell the Helios. The GMD has “spended” new tyres and the rims should be in good condition, if not equally renewed. Which price would be appropriate for the complete wheel set? Would not want to charge moon prices, but not give them here either.

S40 – ABS – Hydaulic problem
Good day together, now it also caught me…. this morning car turned on, and got message in BC…. (meaning) ABS maintenance necessary, along with the small yellow symbol with the hurling car…. Was then directly at the Volvo dealer and he read out that probably something with the ABS or the hydraulics is wrong…. a new hydraulic unit must probably a The fun should cost according to workshop 1900EUR incl. installation… – realistic? Child seat
Just happened to dig up an old Threat, in which it was about the integrated child seats. So it’s probably that everyone with the number 02 at the beginning are not allowed anymore?? Then mine is no longer usable. Just over the built-in child seat I was so happy. According to the old Threat, however, there are probably approved ones that would fit? Probably with 03 at the beginning? Does anyone have something else?? The conversion should be easy… I would be happy if someone who can turn in a usable one would be able to contact me.

XC90 with Navi or not?
Hello together, after a V40 and now a V70 I would like to order a new XC90 on Thursday. As far as motorization, color etc. I have set myself so far, the only problem is – do I now order the Navi with or not ? I actually know the majority of the travelled routes, on the other hand I wonder if it is not “standard” to equip a vehicle of this (price) class also with such a system, also with regard to a later resale value ? Often enough actually in case of cases also a mobile navigation system like tomtom & Co. How did you handle any tips and opinions ? Am there at the moment quite undecided …. Many greetings Marco

When is the fan motor running?
Moin! So since I have made my climate fit again with the GTI, I noticed that the fan will run at full power for a few seconds after switching on the climate and then stop. After that, the fan will only do the task of not overheating the cooling circuit. Is it right that the fan should normally run on level 1 with activated climate? At least in the stand? It either turns on full power or not at all, as if it only had this one level. However, I can’t imagine. The fuses under the hood look good, however, has a bit smoored there with the previous owner.. Lupo 1.4 FSI – Switching background flashes, drives only at high speed…
After having slipped through the clutch more often with my Lupo (during the ride the engine howled briefly (speed speeded up briefly) I went online for troubleshooting, had initially suspected the clutch, but then stumbled over the basic setting. Done, done, however with a very incomplete instruction. Result: no reverse gear more. Better guidance found, restarted and the reverse gear was back again. But now there are still several errors: 1.) Jumps to stop no more 2.) Inserted gear flashes in the switching set 3.) Vehicle needs higher speed to start. I have done the basic setting several times and always made sure that the clutch value has fit (between 1.8-2.0V) What do I have to keep in mind? Yesterday I changed the pressure storage and now the car itself is much better and the circuit has become much better… Greeting TheIncredib13

Zero decision
Hello dear MT’ler You have helped me a lot in my search for the ideal motorization. Now I liked a decision. This has become a zero decision, that is I buy my today’s A6 from the leasing and wait until the manufacturers have improved quality and ergonomics. I had tested some vehicles (request combi, automat and 4×4): Mercedes E class combi: Lausige seats, Navi not adjustable according to my requirements, high price Audi A6: massively longer and wider than today’s, no more space, design fittings deteriorated, MMI not user-friendly, too many knobs and snaps. VW Passat 3.2 4 Motion: Interesting price with good equipment, oldt Navi (DVD terribly lame), and it’s just a VW 😉 Volvo V70, XC70, XC90: consistently rather outdated motorization or outdated combination with GT, best seat in the V70 (sports seat). Therefore, I have to see more of the navigation system at the border, in the XC90 Fata Morgana image on the windshield. Air conditioning is not comparable with Audi, built over the forum with little fun.
