  • Oil causes scooters and me headaches!

    First of all, a “hello” bought me a CPI exactly a month ago. Used and first hand, EZ 2005. Probably this one stood around for a long time and I have only recently noticed that what is wrong with the oil. From time to time, the oil indicator lights up red, although oil is in the container. This is very, very black and does not look fine. Therefore, I have refilled a little new oil (normal car oil). Since the “smoker” my scooter has a white cloud, the strongest when starting. Light is now constantly red, despite (as I said) existing oil. Besides, oil is dripping now and my rear wheel is oil-lubricated when I drove. That’s why the scooter has been bad for three days now. Now to my question It was initially rinsed and the black oil removed with the egg (several times rinsed until no more abrasion came ) now the oil is green again. The car drives well during the ride no problems. However, I read at hans hehl that once the oil was so black with abrasion that you can never get that again and now ask me if it makes sense to keep the car and still exchange the valve unit and o-rings. Is it assumed that you can’t get it anymore or how would you v Does anyone have experiences? Is this really so that you have to change everything when the oil was so black? Would he like to drive for a long time the car has 100t km and is otherwise always a staple.     I have a problem again… My scooter spins a little I bought it from someone a long time ago, he didn’t go at all. Then I tinkered a little and he goes the following is my problem… the scooter drives a maximum of 40! He pulls well up to 40 through, but from 40 he just stops and gets slower again. I have to say, I can not adjust my carburettor by stand gas screw… It is only half in, because otherwise it comes against the gas pull. I have the end of the gas pull, what goes into the carburettor actually properly built, the side where the slot is goes to the stand gas screw. But the slot is t too narrow for the screw. But when I play with the gas on traffic lights it does not go out. Furthermore, I have to hold my hand before the carburettor every 2nd day, and then kick with it to start. /edit: I just dropped one I also removed the manual choke… With the carburettor I closed the hole with aluminium foil.. Is that bad? Can you help me ?
