  • Decision-making aid which Lodgy is recommended

Hello, I’m new here because I decided to buy a Dacia Lodgy. I’m still not happy about the engineization. The Lodgy should be in the equipment variant Lauréate, in addition the third row of seats, electric window lifter at the rear and the radio with operating satellite. Perhaps still the parking aid at the rear. Is the leather steering wheel recommended? If yes, why? I am the dCi 110. I have “my” test track, which is about 20km long and w But now my questions: Before I come to the questions about the vehicle, however, first general questions. Sometimes you can read “90% city or short distance, 10 % highway or similar. What does that mean? Example: In 3 months I have about 100 trips, 90 of them are city or short distance (under 10km), 10 trips are highway (at least 200km). Are these then 90% city / short distance and 10% highway? OR Is it then so that I drive about 700km during the city and short distance journeys and drive about 3000km during the motorway journeys, so that a ratio of 81% motorway to 19% city / short distance comes out? Now to the vehicle questions: The driving performance is about 12-15tkm per year. When driving motorways I usually drive 120-140 km/h, occasionally 160 km/h. Is there a diesel, taking into account all the costs incurred such as tax, insurance, service etc. above all? Which engine is g Is it recommended to order an additional guarantee, if yes, which ones? How are the experiences so far? Have read the individual topics here in the forum. Have already looked at EU imports and the HVT already mentioned here, but somehow I don’t get quite clear about it. The “saving of 470 Euro” seems to me too little to compensate for a possible risk. n! In advance thank you for your hopefully numerous answers.

  • Handbrake bakes firmly MX5 NC

Hello, in my MX5 Bj 09 I have a problem with the handbrake. If you park the car overnight with the handbrake tightened, you won’t get away from the spot the next day. The brake pads seem to be stuck or rusted. Only after a bit of hearty gas the car rolls with a loud jerk. After that you hear a few hundred meters still a grinding of the discs and is good. Especially in the winter, when the brakes get wet. Weil 6000km first on it and the problem existed from the beginning. Does anyone have any idea what that should be? Do I have to do something? Warranty? Greetings Stephan

  • Volume of traffic announcement

When my new S-Cross reports the traffic announcement, it’s in full volume. 100%. I’m scared. Can you adjust the volume? I didn’t find anything in the operating manual. Thank you.

  • Understanding question motor measure subito

Hello, if a question about engine wear testing, the basic measurement of the bore is determined with the messchuhe. if I measure e.g. 81,27, is then rounded up to 81,5 or 81,30? the setting of the subito with the messchuhe is decisive. many thanks in advance.

  • Keropur: Are there serious tests?

In another post of the forum I stumbled over Keropur. So far I did not know such additives at all. The manufacturer applied the stuff with pictures of cleaner valves. Sounds quite good for a layman like me for the time being. But are there also serious tests, in which the testers looked at the engine before and after the use of the miracle remedy, for example with an endoscope? Has it been proven that these additives really benefit the engine because they remove residues or is the only money tailoring? The videos at YT don’t leave a good feeling with me, because there is more guessed and appreciated, instead of really well-founded checks. I have a G7 with 122 hp and usually fill E10 at Hem, and I drive rather little (75,000 km in ten years).

  • WARNING BEFORE Alu Oil-Ablass Screws

I needed an M12x1.5 for a Honda CBR-900, but the same thread also has x other models, manufacturers and car engines. This part has a magnetic pin that should hold iron abrasion in the oil, and a hole where you could attach a seal for racing (should avoid falls of other bikers due to oil loss). For the sake of caution, I asked the dealer if this was the case for the original (steel) bolts. This is also true – yes, that has been confirmed. BUT then it turned out that the thread is already spinning at 25 Nm. The photo shows how it is torn off at the shaft. Not surprising, because the wall thickness is reduced by the bore for the magnetic pin. And the 30 Nm is also needed to effectively press on the aluminium sealing disc. So this is a FELLOW CONSTRUCTION of the good technician colleagues from the Far East. And there is the danger, besides oil loss > Engine damage for bikers also: > Fall when the oil splashes on the wheel – there are also a few drops.

  • I’m sure it’s not much cheaper!!!

Hello dear Leuts, is for many certainly nothing new, that you can buy a Dacia for cheap money. I have now allowed myself the fun to configure a petrol 4WD as Prestige/Anniversary import from NL and got a fabulously horny price: Price tutti: 15.836,- Euro For this you get: Equipment variant: Prestige 4×4 Gasoline Extras: – Loading edge protection stainless steel optics – Parking aid back – Exhaust hood retrofitted – Luggage compartment bathtub Duster 4×4 – el. Fenste rheber rear – ESP – Metallic coating Ok, it may be that some people get a few euros cheaper directly in Holland, but this only helps me if I live near the border. Otherwise I personally find this offer for a NEW WAGEN SUV in no way to top. And I as a customer have the feeling to have bought a car with “full equipment”. Of course there is less equipment than in comparable new vehicles and older technology, but is that something different in a Skoda-Rapid? Un d are the materials better? If you buy the offer still with a car gas system from the certified equipment supplier incl. stationary heating with mobile heating management I get a total price below 20,000 euros. The few hundred euros difference can be invested nowadays, the tests have proven it in a favorable fixed installation navigation device, which does as much as the factory navis. With the car gas system you have then also guaranteed cheap fuelling, at least until 2018. And the How do I know that? Well, because I have retrofitted our vehicle with LPG and auxiliary heating and I can inject directly onto LPG every morning in a well warm vehicle with a preheated engine and I recently filled 60 liters of gas for 46 euros. There is even a SUV as a petrol engine fun and in winter I don’t need to worry about it as a lantern parker. If I wasn’t really happy with our current car now and that we would be happy with it. minimum six to 10 years will be well accompanied, then I would have struck in exactly this constellation. The only point to be clarified would be the guarantee question if LPG is retrofitted. If this is too hot, it will reach directly to the Duster LPG. In the future the modified Duster 2 should go to the start approx. 2017. Maybe he already has the Festeinbaunavi… Of course I can now write a report we are currently satisfied with another brand and so on. This SUV is affordable for the ordinary citizen, where I have to invest already MINIMUM 10,000 euros more on other models, if I wish for a corresponding level of equipment, even with reimport. That’s exactly the all decisive difference. If I have this more money I can of course treat myself to a technically newer vehicle with a thousand el. helpers. But the question everyone will ask is whether this is really “needed” or whether this is the case. e 10,000 Euro(I didn’t add the retrofits, because that would also cost the other vehicles the same amount) would not rather invest in a property, study for the children etc. There are so many possibilities and I bought a new car with good equipment anyway. • Differential ? Request for an explanation

Mmh, probably everyone knows anyway except me, but after I have got such good answers to my other questions I dare to ask myself this question. So, it is always talked about the manual differential on the front axle, which are also available on my 90 ́ samurai (I only had a few weeks ago). Now I have only some wisdom in my mind. The differential has something to do with that when a wheel doesn’t spin the other also spins through, ode r turns or stops or how or what? You already have no idea, and don’t know when what happens at Lock or Free or how? Would I be happy about an understandable explanation of the manual difference, thank you already in advance
