  • Xpeng G6: DVR mode (video recorder) missing?

    Hello, I had the necessary software update OTA installed yesterday after collection of the vehicle. On the final check for changes I noticed that the DVR mode (video recorder) has fallen away and was replaced by DVR playback guardian mode which only renders recorded videos in the gen. mode. The previously existing possibility to turn on the recorder to record the camera view(s) e.g. as a dashcam during the ride has apparently failed. There is also no way to configure the app. Does anyone have any other insights? P.S.: The “watcher mode” works perfectly. In the sensitivity setting “Highly tested, in empty parking space, the recording started already when approaching the vehicle at approx. 2 m (movement detection). So not to be recommended in a busy environment… I’m testing the other sensitivity settings. Lt of a Chinese test on YT, with 3 EV – whereby the G6 is the best section – the current in the “Sentry mode” is pulled from the main battery in 24 h = 2h.
