  • Warehouse shells damage picture – has anyone seen anything like this before?

Moin! I have a classic bearing damage to a crankshaft bearing, while dismantling the crankshaft further damage to two of the other bearings was noticed. However, there are no bars or grinding marks to be recognized but a ca. 1mm deep holefrass. (see pictures) Is a mystery how such a thing can happen to me??? There are also no discolorations of the metal which would indicate strong heat effect. Has anyone seen this before or an idea what the cause is? Could? Thank you very much for every info! LG

  • Search SB Washbox in Frechen (near Cologne)

Hello everyone, since my washing box (Frechen Europaallee) is unfortunately closed. Look at least so from is fenced and the road has been torn open. I now find a new one where I can continue to wash with hand. The only thing I have found is the AVEX but there is no hand wash and bucket laundry. Keep your own remedy with you. I hope one can help me here. Thanks already in advance.

  • External Care Beginners’ Questions

Hello, I’m getting my new Opel Combo E Life next week. The car is used mostly for rides with the dog in everyday life and in operations with the rescue dog squadron. So it’s over floor and stone, not just cozy on the highway therefore. I’m more animal man, less car lover. But since I want to drive my new car again 15 or 20 years, I still want to take care of it as well as possible. I hadn’t done that with my previous station wagon, he stopped but without rust on the paint 15 years. But this time I want to do at least a little bit of good for my car. I say quite honestly: As a woman I do not have a lot of desire for car hand wash (at pans this is something else ) and I also have a very full everyday life and hardly a few minutes of free time, which I then prefer to spend in dog sport etc., than polish with the car. Therefore I look for a good minimum program, which is nevertheless better than nothing. I have already read many pages in the Care Forum here. But I am still overwhelmed with the selection of products. I have limited myself to Sonax. There are now the following things on the list for the outside: SONAX XTREME Protect&Shine SONAX XTREME Spray+Seal SONAX XTREME Ceramic Plastic Sealing SONAX XTREME Ceramic Spray Sealing SONAX XTREME Ceramic QuickDetailer SONAX Rim Beast Rim Cleaner What makes sense now? And is something important missing? Which routine can be recommended? The only thing that seems really clear to me so far: 2x a year would make sense to SONAX XTREME Protect&Shine, at least before the winter and during the spring year. And should I then apply SONAX XTREME Ceramic QuickDetailer after every wash? Or would SONAX XTREME Ceramic Spray Sealing? Or should one take the Ceramic Spray Sealing instead of Protect&Shine and instead of QuickDetailer? I haven’t even done this for my steel rims for the last 15 years. Now it’s aluminum rims. Don’t know me at all. Can you recommend something to me? And tell me when to apply what best? Thank you very much Lavandasca

Moin dear Subaru friends! The display in the on-board computer indicates to me that I still have 490 km diesel in the tank, after 15 km drive it shows me but only a residual distance of 460 km.The average consumption it shows with 7 liters, where is the error?

  • Remove anchor plates WRX? Heat Problems

Hello, Stand close to changing my next set of destroyed brake discs (~60-70tkm). Are blue again and rubbing like “stupid!” when you brake heavily…. so not 160 but 200. Underneath you have to latch more than once before it becomes clear. I have learned that not all vehicles have such large mudguards on the discs. Are they perhaps covered more by rims??http://www.subarufreunde.com/others/subaru/ankerblech.jpg My Vermutu ng is that the Subaru brake pads are too aggressive and overheat the discs??? The anchor plates hold the heat still there? Ride normally 9 liters on average but there are a few grids here and then there are always times. I changed the original discs at about 90tkm. Were twice 3 laps smoking on the NOS (1x with greenstuff) and also looked a bit bluish (or were probably not healed any more), but were not as finished as the (manufacturer forgotten = OEM quali)Can m to the anchor plates without a race track or are DBA 4000 discs also crooked and blue on normal motorway rides? Yes with normal I understand that you can drive 200 times and over. Is probably for a longer time. Normally you can not ask for the brake on the country road like that…. so there I notice nothing. Is compared with new condition but already a bit more sponge. Can take a picture again tomorrow…. ok was just something in Rage

  • E-car insurance?

Hello together, I had a topic here a few days ago. Insurance protection in case of lightning and overvoltage opened, which was thankfully moved by the moderator into the insurance forum. There I could answer my questions largely. But now the basic question to other e-mobile buyers: Did you think about it when completing the insurance? I would have to get an e-mark afterwards (since my 330e is financed, works this probably not without appearance, which is still with the BMW Bank) and then also to a different tariff with my insurance. Or I immediately look for another insurance, in which overvoltage, battery etc. are also insured also without e-marks, if there is. Would the extended insurance cover be worth the effort? Please no answers: I have a company-Kfz, I don’t care the whole thing… In advance best thanks! Greeting Gerhob

  • X1 xDrive30e How it works

Hello, I have a few technical questions about the xDrive30e that I can’t explain to myself: 1. If the battery is empty, how does the xDrive work? Does it always leave a rest of the battery so that the xDrive can be switched on in any case? 2. What about the boost when the battery is empty? Does the motor always return to the battery boost and xDrive is available? 3. If I drive in cold conditions with electric drive and then overtake e.g., the cold petrol engine starts and turns up? Does it warm up the petrol engine? 4. At what speed does the electric motor no longer work? Thanks for your input!
