  • Omega B – Is my Omega a misproduction ?

    Huhu, I think I bought the most curious MV6 there is, was on the search, why the so lame, until I saw that only a X25XE is installed – also at the casting under the starter recognizable. Who thinks, the one who is wrong, the engine number agrees with Carpass and service booklet, is therefore original a 2.5 MV6. So something already seen?

  • Omega B – Need the length measurements of the cardan shaft AT and MT

    Hello, unfortunately, the search has not spit out anything. The cardan shaft is the same length with all Omega (also with automatic versions like mine?) and consists of two parts. I would have liked to know how long the individual parts are. Unfortunately, find this info nowhere and have also no handle-parat to measure just once. A part is probably a little longer, is it the gear side or rear-axle-diff side? Thank you!

  • Omega B – X20XEV – Motor cooler Disassembly/replace

    Good day, we suspect that the water cooler is defective. Yesterday, on the way after the purchase, it had a bit banged and now it is squirting something where the fan is and I make it a little dizzy. We look again more closely next week, but now the question first. because the omi has a air conditioning system, if the water cooler is really defective and needs to be exchanged a new there at kfzt24 cheap instead of for 307 euro original price, then you have to change everything else auhc immediately with what belongs to the climate or can you just plug the water cooler and reinstall and finish it? want to do something about the climate service. would like to mention that it is also slightly hissing as if there is really a hole there and then it is squirting then direction fanner when you then get out and look.

    Hello everyone, I’m new here in the forum and like so many people, I have a recurring problem with the crankshaft sensor. I know that this topic has been chewed through here repeatedly, but I didn’t find a real answer. The following problem has now appeared for the third time since the beginning of the year: Omega runs perfectly and suddenly, mostly at the traffic lights or at the gas lift a short rod and the MKL lights up – engine runs however. After a short time, this problem deals with the fact that the engine runs out directly (is not really nice on the highway) and can be reluctantly started after 4-6 longer start attempts. I have now installed the third KWS and the second NWS. The latter two were installed by a free workshop and the car ran good 3 months error-free. When I visited today and the nice employee was shown again while reading the error 0355 (?) KWS defective, he was also surprised. Someone knows what can destroy the KWS. PS.: If the KWS is not connected the engine does not start or goes off with the current engine.

  • ATR petrol consumption 14 L

    My ATR can hold 14L at 100 km. Mostly all consumers are switched on like (heating, rear window light, A/C, light, etc.) Otherwise the consumed is between 10.5L and 12.5L depending on the ride. Sometimes high-turgy times normal. Under 9.2L I never brought my ATR, and as said 14L in winter. 14L doesn’t even need it at a speed of over 200 km/h. What have you done for experiences? Fuel consumption is not necessarily very important to me, but 14L is enough. MFG. V.

  • CTR – COLOURS/tuning

    Hi am about to add me a CTR white but not what color should I take either black or silver … what do you say ? Find black in itself better but I find there no neat oldzzas up these blackchrome parts I find ugly if then really chrome and that fits only to silver where I don’t want to buy the CTR in silver because of the rear lights because the color is also quite simple …. then still a question at the rande knows here someone rikkli motorsport and has already gained experiences there? And what does it look like with tuning from Switzerland you get this registered here or what is this ?

  • A topic that affects my PIN’s ….K&N air filter

    Hello together, I wrote the K&N Typhoon air filter in it… thanks to a few Vid ́s I will be written on by the VW ́lers (!!!) and also the “new” here by Priv.PIN(here also called PM) because of my more/minimum performance NOW here for all my experiences: So I was on a Bosch test bench BEFORE the installation: 132KW on the wheel measured !!! (Hammer good f. series) (yes possibly “scatters” the test bench upwards… But the diff. is of interest) After installation of the Typhoon Kit (and insembled driving 14,000Km): On the wheel:141 KW (190 PS) Same test bench (BOSCH) Same tester same measurement (adjust the halls Temp was equal) z.z. 160KW (218PS) engine output, even if someone thinks that the measurement is too high the diff is also for the question of interest!!! So pure more with My CTR: 11 KW it is the same by the Typehoon filter can not give the F.

  • Air suspension for 250 W114

    Hello guys, I have a question. I would like to install an airride in my Mercedes W114. Chassis of HighestLow and air production and air management of Accuair. (Endo CVT tank and e-level) is the current plan If the chassis itself has a part inspection, I need one for the rest? (in case of doubt individual acceptance) Second question regarding H-marks.. I have already seen some W115/W114 showing oldtimer with airride and H-marks. Has someone had experiences or has relations with the nice gentlemen of TÜV.   • Painting costs for a limousine – experiences?

    Hello, I have asked in a workshop, the old cars (mostly MB) restored, for the estimated costs for a (complete) painting of my W202. The answer seemed quite high to me (would not want to blow out the exact span at first). They told me especially Metallic varnishes are more expensive. First of all: Yes, it would be wise to have an offer made by a paintmaker. Unfortunately, my car is currently not so 100% traffic-proof, so I don’t want to drive around unnecessarily. Especially because I almost assume that I will answer prices that will end my “project” finally. So:1) What would be appropriate in my case?Color: BRILLANTSILBER – METALLICLACK (744U)Quality: so good that the average person perceives it as a normal painting and does not identify it as a bad quality – but it doesn’t have to be absolutely perfect (hope you understand how I mean that).2) Have you had your oldtimer painted already and what it cost? Interestingly: Which color / how long is the cost?
