  • Fiat Stilo – largest battery sought for winter

Hello, I would like to install a new, stronger battery in my Fiat Stilo. Preferably from Varta, since these batteries are still obviously the best ones. Currently, a 60 Ah battery (also Varta) in my Stilo provides the electricity, but this was often a bit overburdened in the winter (too low cold current). Therefore, my question: Do you know which battery size I can build into the Fiat Stilo 1.6 16V maximum? Money doesn’t matter, I’m ready for the strongest battery, too. n highest price to pay. Thank you for your help! MfG

  • Vauxhall collapsing?

Opel seems to be increasingly breaking away the most important sales market. While Vauxhall has already lost almost 20% of the registrations compared to 2016 over the whole year, in July now 42% (!!!) fewer vehicles were sold than in July 2017. This is of course a house number that shadows even the declines at that time in Russia and yet has something threatening to exist. After all, it is when we go through the full year 2017 from a minus of 75,000 vehicles in GB. In the UK Top 12 Vauxhall is the only manufacturer that loses significantly. Everyone else can increase or at least keep their sales figures on an annual basis. The press, British as well as German, hardly loses a word about it so far. Interestingly, the reasons for this are: – Is this the return carriage for the Feuerska ndal at the Zafira? – Brexit effects – but then why only Vauxhall? – Image loss due to the merger with Peugeot? (Peugeot also loses above average) VW and Audi with their exhaust gases are in any case hardly affected, Ford as also strongly located in GB manufacturer loses only 4% and is still the market leader.

  • Updated survey: How satisfied were you with your Opel in 2014?

As in previous years, we would like to know how you came through the previous year with your mobile kit. Were you satisfied or were there worries and troubles with your vehicle or the service of the manufacturer?Even if you have voted in December: In some forums the survey was broken. Because all MOTOR-TALKers should have the same chance to express their opinion, we decided to close the survey in general and start over now. n News: How satisfied were you with your Opel in 2014? Voice in the poll and external praise or criticism as a comment. We have to many manufacturers a direct wire and they read with them on MOTOR-TALK. That’s why your opinion comes exactly where it should end up: at Opel.

  • Consumption considerations / Comparison

So, my Alfa consumes 15(+-1) liters/100km of super gasoline. Granted, can you live with it? I mean very well, because for a comparable Audi A6 Avant 2.4 I would have had to pay twice the purchase price, of which I convinced myself at mobile.de again today. With me this difference is approx. 12.000 € ! If I assume that the Audi consumes only 10 liters/100km, then I need with a driving performance of 10,000 km/anno with my Alfa 1800, with the Audi 1200 Li 1.20 €/liter causes a difference in the consumption costs of 720€ in favour of the Audi. However, taking into account the financing costs for the acquisition additional costs of the Audi from 12.00€ with 5 %, then the additional costs per anno are reduced to only 120€. M.a.W. Only in 100 years the break-even is reached (12.000/120), only then will the Alfa be worse in the consumption costs than an Audi. Irony with it, but a well-preserved Alfa will then be much more be worth as an Audi and my great-grandchildren will praise my farsightedness 😉 saluti!

So since the Fox doesn’t have its own forum here, I’ll put it in here. (please don’t beat) Passat,Golf…usw are all names of winds. How about the Fox?

  • Nissan Murano

Hello, I am interested in a Nissan Murano, which will also be available in Germany from 2005. Do you have experience with the model – according to leasing conditions, the value loss is relatively high. Is it because many people think it’s just a fun car or does it really compete with Volvo XC90 and BMW X5 in your opinion. After all, the price is unbeatablely cheap. Is there already a dealer with more information than the ones mentioned in the press? Would I like to hear about news fre uen, even though the theme Murano was hardly mentioned here in the forum. Greetings, Mario

  • Satisfied with Renault engine in Nissan ?

I would like to know what experience you have with the Renault diesel engines in your Nissan. I can only say that I certainly no longer buy a Nissan with French technology. If that goes on I will switch to Toyota. They at least build a reasonable diesel themselves and do not, like so many Japanese manufacturers, access PPE or Renault engines that are known for their unreliability. Franky26

  • the lowest speed range?

Hello, which is in your opinion the cheapest speed range (possibly little consumption, but should not be bad for the engine) at the Sunny N14 1.4L with 75 hp? Should it be called when to switch and drive at which speed, mainly in the city? So one has tried it himself or has experience with it in general?

  • Prices and configuration for the new Sandero Stepway 2013

I have visited various European Dacia websites and have been to see where information about the prices of the new stepway is already available tonight.Where there is something interesting:www.dacia.fr (prices are already available, configuration is possible)www.dacia.ro (prices are already available, configuration is possible)Where there is nothing else:www.dacia.sk (Slovakia) (still has only the “old” Sandero)www.dacia.bg (Bulgaria) (for the new one you can only note if I have the right s www.dacia.pl (Poland, like Bulgaria)www.dacia.rs/hr (Serbia/Croatia) (still only has the “old” Sandero)www.dacia.de (prices not yet available, first info already) And very important: http://translate.google.de/ (The interpreter of Google) The fully equipped stepway with the 90 hp diesel without leather equipment costs 12,200 Euro (!) in Romania and 13.590 Euro in France. The Romanian Dacia therefore has a price advantage of about 1400 Euro. If the price in Germany should also be about 13,600 euros, then it is worth an independent EU import? I would have the opportunity to buy a stepway in Slovakia (maybe also soon for 12,200 euros?) via a good friend, to pick it up there and transfer it to Germany. I have no idea what that would cost me. The tax in Slovakia is 20%. Does anyone have an idea how much I could save (!)?
