hello community, I have been watching for a while (not so intensely to know myself really well) and have the plan in mind to buy a 911 that is similar to me. currently a 996 cabrio decorates my garage and feels somehow lonely, (do I have the feeling) and not only because I want to bring color to our otherwise black driving park, but because I just want one like this, I am looking for something like this:http://www.mobile.de/cgi-bin/da.pl?id=111111240597282 the price comes to me, especially from a dealer, rather favorable? what do you have to consider with such years of construction? I am not the big screwdriver. can you do rather little yourself. or do you think the fingers leave away from something like that? thank you for your opinions… cu xen

Equipment recommendation 987 S
Hello, I’m going to replace my white pimp cart with a new car this month. After long considerations, I have defined the key data of the next car, which I want to get next week after the current planning: Porsche Boxster S (987) Outer GT-silver, inside stone grey or cocoa Hand-circuit PCM with telephone BOSE-Sound 19″ Carrera-S-Rad km up to 30,000 Price up to 50,000 Unfortunately, I don’t know which M-equipment actually makes sense or only costs weight and nerves? I was thinking about PASM, Chronopack, sports seats, CDC (Can PCM MP3?)? Furthermore, the dealer will certainly not tell me the neuralgic weak points of the boxster. Are there things that should be taken care of (or asked) when buying a used 987 S? And finally the Gretchen question: Does the extra price for the “S Greetings Stevo” pay me more?

Value loss of the upcoming GR86 (2022)
Hello together, I had decided to buy a used Toyota GT 86. However, since even for soon 6-8 years old you can now look good and like 20k, I thought if the new GR86 (comes in April 2022) is possibly also not a bad investment as a new car. Of course also here is to be reckoned with proper value loss but I could imagine that it is not as crass as with the average new car. Why? 1. It will only be sold 2 years in Europe, because then it will no longer correspond to the “security requirements” of the EU. 2. It is a Toyota. 3. It is probably one of the last of its kind in this price segment (manual, rear axle lock etc.). Do I talk about all this only nice or could be anything about my assessment?

Car smells strangely of disinfected air conditioning
I had my Toyota in the workshop. A lot of things were done. Since the air conditioning system had not cooled properly since last summer and now and then it has been noticed by a modrid smell, the workshop disinfected the air conditioning system and filled up liquid. Since then I can no longer get the car: shortness of breath, pain in the throat (am asthmatic). It smells of nutmeg in the car since then, bitingly after something chemical etc. Does anyone have an idea? That must not be after a disinfection or? I am totally perplexed, the workshop did not explain exactly how they disinfected me. But normally it would have to smell neutral or fresh afterwards?!

Identification Power steering gearbox Toyota Hilux LN106 1993, 4×4 Double-Cab
Hello together, I have to change the power steering gear soon because of too much game. Only mine looks different from the ones I find available on the internet. a) Is this steering gear from another Toyota model? If yes, from which one? b) If I buy one that should go for the Hilux LN106 and it looks different, can you change it anyway? Lg

Mazda Workshop
Hello people. So I’m driving Mazda xedos6,a nice car,but what bothers me is the workshoping of mazda, and slowly I’m going up,unsavory bills and no anung. So this is about the following I brought my car to inspection on 31.03.2005 I’ve had an appointment and today it’s already 7.04.2005 after questioning when will car be finished they’ll have said they’ll get the next day, then the week,so and today the said blessed when next week,is not bad.I’ve even called Mazda deutchland and I can’t help them in.And I’m supposed to pay 1700 for this crap.My opinion is never going to have anything to turn around with mazda as a car and as a company. For me, mazda is done, and I’m going to leave everyone guessing finger off.

Decision problem…
So after I no longer want to have my 88er 626 GD brought through the TÜV for 1,000,- Euro with my Mazda dealer, I looked for another Mazda with him: Xedos 6 2.0l V6 Bj 93 160.000 km 3.600,- 626 2.0l Bj 95 70,000 km 3.000,- The 626 is with my insurance in the quarterly payment still good 20,- Euro more expensive for this the Xedos should swallow more (12l) and then even Super. As Azubi I have to pay attention to the money and now I am pondering which of the two I take. The Xedos is cheaper in the insurance and has a greater chance for longevity with the 6 cylinder, but has already a lot behind it. The 626 would be cheaper with the financing and in the fuel and has less km on the hump, which with the 4 cylinder however is already a lot. Can someone give me some good and more objective advice?

<<< Survey >>> MX-5 NA or Barchetta at 1.90m ??
Hello people ! I would like to get a roadster as second car in the near future. This should be in a frame of max. 4000 EUR. Since I know only the MX5 or the Barchetta in question. I would be interested in which vehicle you have a little more space. With my height of 1.90m (slim) this is an extremely important and decisive factor. I would also be grateful about other pros and contras, but please no opinions on the design. This is always a matter of taste. I hope that you can participate and help me !

Spark plugs in oil
Hello with my 626GE 2,5V6 (1992) 2 spark plugs were under oil. But does not cause any problems otherwise. The workshop thinks the cylinder head seal is down, costs from 1900Euro upwards and must be changed immediately. However, I did not see any water in the oil or vice versa., also no blue haze in the exhaust gas. Oil consumption since the last oil change 9000tkm from the max stroke on the oil measuring rod to about a third to the min stroke. So probably wearyer than half a liter. But when the spark plugs were checked, I noticed that the spark plugs were installed very loosely in the workshop at the last change. So my question: can it be the one not sufficiently attracted spark plug lead to the oil rises and collects itself? Did the spark plugs now all follow up and observe whether new oil occurs. Is the workshop right or does they just want to do a business?
