Dear tool addicts too have packed it for me, a nice hobby tool can make addictive … To the point: will soon carry out smaller exchange actions like the spark plugs (second car) as well as glow candles on my diesel in self-direction. I always do the tire exchange actions with the MC200, as far as everything is ok. A defined loosening of the delinquent can save money (break by overturning). Therefore my question: is FAMEX 10872 the only candidate in this hobby area that the L Proxxon won’t offer a “defined left run” even with the new MC60… In itself I like Proxxon, for my purposes almost too good On the edge: how large should the measuring range be?. I know the following applications: 28 NM – spark plugs Bosch 17 Nm – oil drain screw VW (in about ) 8-30 Nm – glow plugs Can anyone call me a few other useful applications? Thank you in advance!

Grube, stage, both…???
Hello dear MotorTalker so far I have always used the mounting pit in the garage of the father-in-law when I screwed on the car, now the own house construction incl. garage is on, and of course I want to equip it so that I can work with me in the future,… The question arises, what do I build best to get under the car? The pit I have used so far is relatively “sight”, perhaps 1.5m. I am 1.86 large, and accordingly was the A… better than nothing of course, but it was often really no fun,… The few times I could work with the lift were no comparison,… you probably all know what I’m talking about… The disadvantage of a stage is that one of the pillars is always in the middle of the room. I currently have a double garage with 7x7m planned, so I would have to park with a car always “between” the lift. I guess it’d be a bit out of hand… How did you solve this situation with you? A thought would be back to the pit, but at least so low that I can stand up in it, and so long that the whole car is covered with it… (that would make a ventilation etc. necessary) I’ve also seen stages, with only one side column, that would then come to the wall side and four arms grabbing under the car. But I’m not sure how trusting wec or a stage with a central lifting stamp? Ideal would be a solution with two columns that I can push outwards to the wall when not in use, and if I need them in the middle, but there is no such thing… I don’t think I’m the first one who has this problem I would be very happy about your thoughts or experiences on the subject. LG, Elwood

old or new? which hondas do you like better??
HI leutz! i’m interested in which hondas you think is better… the older ones from 87-95 or the new ones from 96 to jetz? so i personally found the old hondas somehow better than the current ones…they were somehow much more sporty… today I find somehow too clumsy and big…especially the new civic model I don’t like that….it looks like a VAN somehow.. and what I don’t like is that the 2 of the listed cars don’t build more… namely the prelude and of course the CRX… well… would like to hear your comments! Purchase advice: BMW from 325 o. From 525 o., Audi a4 or gti
Hello guys, I’m looking for a new car and I don’t know which one to pick up! – 3 but only from 325ers – 5 but only 525ers – Audi a4 – gti I want to buy or will only buy gti because of the ps number because I’m more the type for limos therefore place 3. Audi is a nice car but interior equipment is too thin for me. That’s why it’s also in second place with me. BMW 3ers. I heard the rule when it’s smooth or in the curve etc… Think the 3 drivers know what it means. t also with good tyres… I like great and the 3s length is top!!! 5s is also a half ship and since I like BMW anyway and with me on the first place I think at the end will probably be a BMW but I can’t decide yet. Bj. should be from 2005, pdc and navi are MUST!!! Do not like to turn upside down when parking ?? And extra navi ergendwo append no there is better built-in and pay better few eurons more! As for car insurance will show itself and tank What would you recommend to me? Advantages, disadvantages, which cars have more wear and which cars do I have to take deep into my pocket at the workshop??? Just tell me your experience and who is for which model or brand… Why and who is against the above mentioned brands. Reason please! Then go ahead and help me…!

Car for commuting 70,000km a year
Hello Motor Talk Community, after my studies I got an attractive job offer, which is 135km away (Hin and back 270km). Since you have settled in in the new place in the years of your studies, I would like to avoid a move or a weekly apartment. Therefore I am looking for a car with which I can drive about 3-4 years. At 4 years would be 280.000km. I have already searched in the forum, unfortunately I found no questions about commuting with these distances Here are a few infos: Route (1 way): 127Km highway to a large extent without speed limit (approx. 80%), the remaining 8Km are approx. 1Km city and 7Km country road. Since the route is not very busy, I am looking for a car where I can drive with the average speed of 130Kmh. Thus the driving time is only 2 hours a day and is ok for commuting. Motor: Due to the distance I want to buy a solid diesel. Since I have no idea how the PS strength depends on the consumption I don’t need a horsepower car. I thought about 90-120hp?!?? Car: Appearance, equipment etc. I don’t care, I want a reliable car with which I can ride the route comfortably with the 130Kmh. My budget is about 17,000€-21.000€. Think about a used car up to 30,000km or a new car. If you have a proposal that is less than 17,000€ I don’t mind. For a new car, I would be happy about tips. I have come across the Hyundai CI30 or CI40 during my first search for information. Low consumption and also as a new car (14,000€) or very young used car in my price range. Could anyone give me concrete experience here? Also the 5 year guarantee without mileage limit would be interesting because of the distance. I would also like to hear about other suggestions or ideas. Thank you very much and a nice Sunday greeting Marv

BMW battery charger car on motorcycle
For BMW Automobile there is a charger, which has so far been advertised with the tenor “also suitable for BMW Motorcycles”. It is the device with the part number 61432411592. My inquiry at BMW Motorrad showed that you did not know about the product there. I could not answer the question about the compatibility with the CAN bus of the BMW Motorcycles. You don’t want to test this device, because you have your own device in the program, which is also suitable for charging the car battery It would take longer, but it would be possible. For charging its car, the customer supporter added a second device that is very similar to the BMW device. So I (frustrated) bought the above battery charger and tested it at the board socket of the C Evolution. The charging worked. How long the device will support BMW motorcycles with adapter cable with CAN bus, I don’t know. I keep it because it convinced me and that’s what I’ve been doing since J My conclusion: BMW Automobile has understood the wishes of its customers, who have car and motorcycle, and in my opinion well implemented. BMW Motorrad has shown me with the attitude that customer wishes and uniform corporate thinking behind profit thinking. If you want to load both types of vehicle, you should take a look at the car charger. Rifle, that it works safely in every configuration and also in the future does its service at the board socket, I can’t take over.

Which engine, 1.6 ltr or 1.4 ltr Turbo?
I’d like to buy a new car. I’ve already driven the car with 1.6 ltr. 110 hp and was a bit disappointed. It had to be turned quite high to feel something of the 110 hp. Now, in the next quarter of a year, a new engine for this model comes on the market. It is a 1.4 ltr. turbo with 130 hp. Since the turbo has the power already in the lower speed range, it should certainly be an alternative. To what would you advise me to buy the 1.6 110 hp o I don’t want to race with this car, but it should also be a bit fun and not start with a big roar of the engine. The new engine will probably also meet the Euro 5 standard, the 1.6 has Euro 4.

Japanese build a car that only goes with water.
!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems that you only tip water in. Not as complicated as the German hydrogen BMW. Would be really cool if the Germans would also move in the direction. Is there someone who knows more exactly about it? What do you think about it?

R 1100 RS, year 2001 , when changing oil, waste oil does not expire
Hello BMW municipality, at this year’s oil change (20 km warm driven, oil filter unscrewed) the waste oil did not run off. I then ran the engine very briefly and the oil came out with quite a pressure. New filter screwed in, 3.8 liters of oil filled – the oil level is clearly visible on the glass. Engine started, the oil level sank very quickly in the glass and was not readable even after 1/2 hours of standstill. Of course, I don’t dare to move the mopped anymore without causing a capital damage. Something like that hasn’t happened to me in my entire screwdriver life. I’ve been changing oil for over 50 years with all my cars and motorcycles. The waste oil has always run unreservedly. Has any of you ever experienced similar things or can make a rhyme? I’m looking forward to every well-intentioned hint and I’m curious if anyone has ever told me something like that. Greetings Gerd.
