And so it has now become a V60.     Hello, thinking about winter tyres in the middle of summer is a bit funny, but I think in the coming 4 to 8 weeks everyone who has a new purchase in mind should trigger an order, because winter tyres can be in short supply. In the search for new rims I am among others on the page http://volvovelgen.com/ from the Netherlands, (Felgen with “v such is right in NL ). I am looking for original Volvo Merac 7.5×18” with winter tires. Volvo unfortunately does not offer this variant directly as complete bikes. You can come over the spare parts purchase to the rims, but that will be expensive. My question now, has someone experience with the business from the Netherlands. There I would get the set rims for (1195€) with Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow o. Michelin Alpin for 1950€, incl. shipping to Germany. That’s about 800€ less than the local price with discount. Is there problems with VAT / customs when buying from NL ?

  • S 1000 R used bought – some questions

    Hello, I have recently been proud owner of a S 1000 R year 2016 in full equipment. Customer service and TÜV were made new. After the first exits I have some questions: – The damping can be set to soft, normal and hard. But I can hardly notice a difference between the three steps. Is this normal? Generally I find the chassis in position soft very hard. Does it possibly work the variable damper setting with me? – Can you retrofit the switching assistant Pro of the current model, i.e. the blinker function to switch down? – I have the information that you can retrofit ABS Pro. Has this already been done here? What did it cost? – The clutch feels like getting used to it. When coupling is sometimes a kind of snap in the hand lever (unfortunately difficult to describe somehow), as if the coupling is somehow delayed or hand levers is delayed back to the starting position. If this is due to the anti-hopping coupling, if I have been asked for a quick answer or if you don’t know anything about it.

  • Upgrade Volvo XC 70 Subwoofer/Bassbox

    Hello Volvo driver, I wanted to install a bass box in my XC 70! Now my problem is that I don’t really know where to start.. I once read that it’s versions with original built amplifiers and subwoofers, is that right? Should there be somewhere in the trunk (I looked inside but couldn’t find anything, just a DVD player) Now I just don’t know what my radio is called (if you want to know that) I have a picture attached to what my interior/radio looks like (except that I don’t have anything in beige!) Can someone help me where I can connect the box with the subwoofer and amplifier? (will probably be a custom box) Technically I’m not quite unsolicited, so I should get that!   • What to do about frozen slices?

    I am used to the luxury of a garage or better said, I don’t want to scratch my discs every morning. The little evil is the cold fingers and the extra time I have to plan on. The much bigger evil is this blind flight despite scratching and the many small scratches in the disk, which you can only really notice when you are driving against the sun. So towards the sun, against it will be difficult. The far more pleasant method would certainly be a heater. But at the moment I am not so liquid that I can afford to do so. Then there are still various miracle remedies that you can make before or after ironing on the disk. However, all tests on the TV said that this possibility to become master of the problem is rather suboptimal. A slide / cover plan about the car is also crap. They can freeze and moreover I still don’t know where to go with the stiff frozen thing. So I’m looking for big-hearted or state-of-the-art advice with you. It can also put something in the middle of it.

  • P000C , clack at 2000&3000 turns

    Hello, I have a Toyota gt86 from 2012 and with me went the engine control light and at the same time also the traction control light. I have read out the vehicle memory and found the error P000C ( camshaft position sensor A, bank 2, answer too slow). If the error comes then I notice a power loss in the car, which is gone again when I delete the error. In addition I hear a metallic clacking short at about 2000 turns and then again at 3000. I tried to fix the problem already by changing the camshaft sensors, freshly made an oil blower and the solenoid valve at position C. In the latter case the error was gone for about 50km long and then came back shortly after a restart of the car. Overall the error behaves so that I can usually drive normal after erasing the error, until I turn off the car and drive again, then the error comes back after a few minutes. The engine was built up before about 10000km and was reinforced with Titan and thus prepared for turbo, however, it is driven without turbo. However, it could have remained the same idea of changing the engine chain.

    Hello, I am playing with the idea of buying a max. 4 years old used Camry with automatic. This desire now raises two important questions: 1. In the last four years there seems to have been two models. Can anyone tell me what Toyota has improved to the new model? Is there a separate controllable climate control (driver/passenger) with Camry? If yes, from which model? What is the 2.4 l engine (actual consumption with automatic, maximum speed, force development)? Or is the 3 l V6 better (me deters the consumption)? 2. Quite a lot of (favorable) offers come from Hamburg, Bremen, etc. – port cities – and it is obvious with some of them – it does not seem to me to be in the vast majority of US imports. Are there technical differences? I have recently seen a report about various brakes, rides, underfloors, etc., because vehicles in the USA can never drive 200 km/h, because there are not allowed to be in the vast majority of US imports. Are there axles, wheel suspension, etc. Are there not built so stable with the Camdi model?

    Hello, I’m new here in the forum and I’m looking for some support or advice about buying used cars. So far I’m driving a 2000 BMW 320d (E46) which now has 125000km down and I’m going to sell it and switch to a gasoline truck with autogas. To this I’m saying that I drive back to work 85km a day and the same distance again. Overall I come to 40-50TKM per year. Therefore, the aspect of durability should be in the foreground. I’m very interested in a Honda Integra / Honda Prelude (the last two versions). Can you give me a few tips about the model with regard to any problems that may occur? Rust, motor deficiencies, longevity, other weaknesses, special features what you should pay attention to, what engine performance on average? Consumption? Which engine variant is the most insensitive? The frame should be up to max. 11000 EUR. And can anyone of you call me the insurance ratings? I’m currently paying for the 320d with HF and VK with 300SB 82 EUR per month.

  • Honda Jazz Mkl lights up

    Hello Jazz municipality. A friend of mine bought a Jazz from 2008 with the 1.2l engine and ~120,000km Now start after about 1st week the MKL light with the error: HO2S S2 signal Terminals in the condition fat and efficiency of the catalyst system under the threshold value. So unfortunately I do not start with the first error code anything, my guess is that the error code with the HO2S signal is meant the Lambda probe and the error with the catalyst system is a consequence error of the Lambda probe. Before I now arbitrarily renew probes, I wanted to ask here again.

  • Emergency mode, error code

    Hello together, I have for about 3 months the problem that my Honda jazz goes off and to like into the emergency running mode, the MKL goes on and the engine jerks. After switching off and on the engine the MKL still lights up but the rest runs again normal. Mostly this happens when I push the accelerator pedal in the 2nd – 3rd gear completely. ( After a short time MKL disappears again). Recently I cleaned the outer throttle flap ( not completely removed ) and afterwards it went really well 2 weeks. I only had to switch it much later than usual but now the whole thing is relapsed again. My guess is that the throttle flap is dirty and has to be completely removed and cleaned. In addition, the engine speed varies sometimes in idle between 600-1000. Ignition plugs are new and problem was already there before ignition plug change. Please help.
